Also, you dont need stealth to distract, its easily used out of stealth right in combat, if mob dont have too much agro range like raid mobs

True but actually if mobs have too much agro (actually level, from 61), they resist and pull you off of stealth anyway. From MC onwards I don't distract, you try to save the raid from a patrol and end up pulling them and wiping. It is better just to announce them and let them come, letting your friendly tank take care of them :)

Hi MetaGoblin - for trick #2 I use this macro: #showtooltip cheap shot /cast [stealth] Cheap Shot /cast [nostealth] Gouge(Rank 5) The stealth bar/action bar 1 can be a little slow or unreliable when coming out of stealth so I find using this macro off the stealth bar to yield better results. @@3rKoPlaysMinecraft I use it as my main cheapshot bind. If I want to cs gouge, I just go in front of the target. Otherwise, spamming this behind them is just a normal cheapshot opener.

A 5 CP Rupture has a base damage of 800 with a 25 Energy cost. Rupture deals 32 damage per spent Energy point. A 5 CP Eviscerate has a base damage range of 904-1012 with a 35 Energy Cost. Eviscerate deals 27.37 damage per spent Energy point. But... Eviscerate can crit, and Rupture cannot. A buffed rogue should have a 30+% chance to deliver a critical strike which deals 150% damage, which would bump Eviscerate above the damage values of Rupture. But... Rupture doesn't really care about armor. Onyxia has ~4700 armor, and with 5 Sunder Armors and a Faerie Fire (and maybe even a stack of 3 Annihilator procs) she will still have about 1300+ armor, which gives around 15-20% physical damage reduction. This remaining armor will further reduce the damage dealt by Eviscerate, but if you happen to crit, it's still going to be the superior option.

rupture is a debuff in raid and you will never be allowed to use it in most guilds.

@@jamessarrasin4500 Since Onyxia is such an easy boss, it's quite common to kill her with as few as 15 people. In groups like that, the debuff slots are rarely even filled, and thus Rupture could potentially be used. Furthermore, as Onyxia's Lair is such a short and unimportant raid encounter, showing up fully buffed and crit-capped rarely makes sense either, causing Rupture to potentially become even more valuable, as the lower your crit chance becomes, the better Rupture is in comparison to Eviscerate. I still barely ever use it since I like seeing big Eviscerate crits. :')

Ambush is the best lead for mages. If they iceblock u just wait behind it backstabbing as it doesnt cost energy and u can spam it until iceblock wears off. If they try to blink u blind then go oor of combat, stealth and ambush them again. Only the best mages will make you use preperation but sprint is your friend always as is a free action pot or a thistle tea. Gotta kill them fast as we are energy dependent and after your openers you are vulnerable unless you reset them using blind.

I can kill Hederine Slayers with rogue in blue-ish items. Ppl told me that im crazy , and Hederine slayers can crit u 3.2k in 1 sec (2 mele swings + mortal strike) but takes me 2 mins/mob.

One of my fav tricks not included here is one I use against warriors a lot. Sap cheap shot w 90 turn to not auto then restealth into another cheap shot backstab expose armor blind restealth lol I use it a few times in the clips I have on my channel if you need an example or watch payo and you’ll see

A cheap shot is 60 energy, gauge 45 , with a total of 100 energy, you cant cheap shot followed by a gauge, unless you regen some energy, or you got 100+ energy somehow (spec/gear)

Jan Bonet typically you wait to attack just before your energy tick goes off. also why would you gouge directly after cheap shot. it’s a 4 second stun.

Also, the dude has at least 5 piece Nightslayer which is +10 energy. Most scrub mages don't have a fast enough reaction time to blink before the cheap shot if you time it just before an energy tick.

It only resets the auto attack for your main hand if it procs things like an extra swing from sword spec. Sinister stike doesn’t reset it on its own.

It doesn't. Your SS has a chance to proc the extra swing from the sword talent. When the extra swing procs, it will reset your swing timer.

Lil Bear definitely possible at times, however you will be moving to certain spots in Ony’s Lair to dodge her flame breath to avoid death. 5 point combos won’t happen every time. He’s trying to get the rupture damage while he’s moving to safety.

Don't use rupture, it doesn't increase your dps. Doing dot dmg while feared doesn't equate to a dps increase. You could have done more dmg instantly with eviscerate. Same thing when she's in flight. If you jump to rupture you can also land eviscerate...
