I would say Mario kart DS is the best because: - It's basically Mario kart 64, but with better graphics, but with smaller screen, but with less crap on the main screen because there's two of them. - portable version and you can still play with friends without owning two games. - battles maps and mechanics were so well balanced.

Incorrect. Or, well, I suppose it could be correct, but that doesn't mean that's the only reason why anyone likes it. MK64 was my first Mario Kart game but I've kept playing it with my brother into the modern era and it's still _so_ much fun. Very competitive too. I love Mario Kart 8 and Double Dash, don't get me wrong, but MK64 will always be the best imo.

Coney you're absolutely right about MK64 but Double Dash is also amazing. The drifting/turns in that game feel exquisite, and chat might be right about at least that aspect of the game having an edge on the GOAT.

He said no it isnt and he used avatar as an example. I said since it was animated by a korean studio that it transcends the lines and cannot be used to make the distinction. He said that since it has anime art style but is considered a cartoon it prove his point. We were too drunk to be in disagreement about something so it ended in shouting

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Mario Kart. 48 tracks, a bunch of characters (some of whom aren't clones), several fun battle modes, new and innovative anti-grav for insane tracks, it's just ... really good! 64 is a CLOSE 2nd, bolstered by scope for the time and crazy WR strats, but I just don't see it as better than 8DX. You said you'd reply; now do it.

TFH actually has a long history TFH used to be a game known as fighting is magic, which is where we get all the stuff from salty bet for ponies. Most of their move set is ripped from that in SaltyBet and Mugen. Fighting is magic actually got a cease and desist from hasbro originally and was forced to shut down production, however Lauren saw the project snd was very interested in it and saw the passion the community had and helped design, grab voice actors, snd help gather more people to work on the game. The game was actually scheduled for Evo 2021 before the world went nuts. And it actually has a very developed scene too.

Coney I'm 31 and played the shit out of Mario Kart 64 but I couldn't disagree more dude. Double Dash is sooo much better. The controls are so so improved and having a teammate makes it very strategic and deep. Also I feel like its maps blow 64s out of the water.

I'm using the two years difference in hopes of proving you wrong. 8 Deluxe has become hands down the best Mario Kart even if the Booster Course Pass tracks has inconsistent quality. They nailed the gameplay, fixed item balancing, and thanks to the BCP now has the best playable character roster hands down. Its not the perfect Mario Kart, but it is the most perfect. You said in your video that anyone who disagrees with your opinion on Mario Kart 64 being the best Mario Kart should comment and you would personally reply and say I'm wrong. I will patiently wait. If you say nothing I will just assume that I am right and move on with my life.

Honestly I'm glad MK64 is getting some love. It was my first mario kart game and I have so much love for it. Best mario kart though? That's a really tough question to answer. 7 is honestly criminally underrated and with a better roster (and if it weren't on the 3ds) it honestly probably would be my number one. Double dash is also great if a little overrated and mario kart 8 is still to this day fantastic. It's really hard to decide personally they all have so many different things going for them.
