Having a van like Baby builds character and you Travis are a better man for it! Plus I can tell how gentle you speak to her and rub the steering wheel it is ❤️

I mean, she likes it rough too. But I can’t show that.

Daddy’s girl!! Lololol Loved red headlights Crazy that you were able to find a fix off a YT video and not mechanic! That’s bananas! Great shot of pic n pull Talking dirty to your van was priceless lol Great helpful list would not have realized about t he paint job and neighbors calling popo but it makes sense. Hopefully this list gets traction on YT algo.

Lol thanks man, put a lot of work into this one. I've got all kinds of funny comedic ideas. Just part of my personality lol. I think at this point the only way it'll get traction is if people share it. Because it's not doing that well honestly.

I have no doubts something IS burning. But I have yet to discover WHAT specifically it is lol.

😳🤣🤣😳🤣🤣😳🙏🏼💜 You have had quite the journey so far!! God Bless, Wow!! So the exhaust and the a/c are fixed? I think the paint gives it character, I can see the beauty of it when the sun hits it. Looking forward to seeing the next episode. Thank you for sharing! 🌞🙏🏼💜🚙💨
@TravisTravels4 жыл бұрын
Divine Mojo the paint certainly gives it character. But I’d much rather have all the dents, scratches rust gone with a fresh coat of paint than what it looks like now. I do legit have people call the cops on me before I even step foot outside the van. But they ignore the sprinter vanlifers lol. That’s why it’s important to maintain a good looking vehicle especially if you are living in it in the cities. I could care less of I were boon docking all the time. I’ve literally replaced just about everything in baby. So she’s basically a new van now lol.
@DivineMojo4 жыл бұрын
Travis Travels So the cost of a paint job would be as much as getting a different van?!?! 😳🤦🏻♀️ Don’t tell her I even suggested it! 🤫🤣😉
@TravisTravels4 жыл бұрын
@@DivineMojo Yes exactly! If the paint were in better shape. They could just paint over it. But because it's so scratched and cracked all over. It just has to be stripped clean. I have been quoted for $2k. But I'm sure it would go as high as $3500 or more because it does have a lot of surface rust and body damage.
@TravisTravels4 жыл бұрын
@@DivineMojo Honestly if money weren't an issue I would invest in it. I'd love to get a high top for it, 4x4 kit and rebuild the inside. But those are dreams far beyond my bank account right now. So after the 17th. I will decide whether or not to keep her.

If you are going to buy any "cheap" vintage car, you need to have atleast $2-3000 in the bank.

At the very least lol. No joke.

This episode was a labor of love. And it feels so good to finally put it out there. Has anyone else experienced any of these things buying a vintage vehicle?
@elizabethchester76074 жыл бұрын
Yup, I had a 1970-ish VW fastback that was a nightmare and I traded a 1960-ish VW convertible bug for it. I overlooked a few red flags too. Great video.

Elizabeth Chester thank you lol, I think a lot of us have had a lemon or two. My first was a Volkswagen Jetta. Huge pile of shit lol.
