Just gonna say, you should look up the St Anger 2015 rerecording of the whole album by a group of fans using more conventional methods. It shows that the songwriting itself wasn't bad under the surface and it was a potential banger, it's just unfortunate that the official recording had so much production issues and clumsy musicianship throughout. Still, St Anger 2015 is worth listening to.

I asked ChatGPT to list the top 10 worst metal albums, and this is what it gave me: 1. "St. Anger" by Metallica (2003) - This album was an absolute mess, with poorly produced tracks, cringe-worthy lyrics, and a lack of musical direction. Fans were left disappointed and many felt betrayed by the legendary band's attempt at a more modern sound. 2. "Risk" by Megadeth (1999) - The band's attempt at a more commercial sound was a complete failure. The album lacked the thrash metal intensity that made Megadeth famous, instead opting for a more pop-rock feel that was widely criticized by fans. 3. "The Burning Red" by Machine Head (1999) - This album marked a drastic departure from the band's previous sound and was met with widespread disappointment. The rap-metal influence was too heavy-handed, and the songs lacked the intensity and aggression that had made Machine Head popular. 4. "Chinese Democracy" by Guns N' Roses (2008) - After years of anticipation, this album was a major letdown. The bloated production, over-the-top solos, and disjointed songwriting made it a chore to listen to. It was a sad reminder of what could have been if Guns N' Roses had stayed true to their roots. 5. "Lulu" by Lou Reed and Metallica (2011) - This collaboration was doomed from the start. Lou Reed's spoken-word poetry clashed with Metallica's heavy instrumentation, resulting in a confusing mess of an album that nobody wanted. 6. "Super Collider" by Megadeth (2013) - The band's second appearance on this list, "Super Collider" was a major disappointment for fans. The title track was an embarrassing attempt at a radio-friendly single, and the rest of the album lacked the intensity and energy that made Megadeth famous. 7. "Load" by Metallica (1996) - While not as bad as "St. Anger," "Load" was another attempt by Metallica to move in a more mainstream direction. The result was a bloated, unfocused album that lacked the edge and intensity of their previous work. 8. "Cold Lake" by Celtic Frost (1988) - This album marked a drastic departure from the band's signature sound, with a focus on glam and hair metal. The result was a poorly received album that alienated fans and critics alike. 9. "The X Factor" by Iron Maiden (1995) - The first album to feature Blaze Bayley on vocals, "The X Factor" was a major disappointment for Iron Maiden fans. The songs lacked the energy and intensity of the band's classic albums, and Bayley's vocals failed to capture the magic of Bruce Dickinson's. 10. "Illud Divinum Insanus" by Morbid Angel (2011) - The band's attempt at incorporating industrial and electronic elements was a major misstep. The result was an album that felt disjointed and confused, lacking the cohesiveness and intensity of their classic work.

I have a series on my KZbin channel called Catalog Cripplers. It basically has the same idea as the series called Trainwreckords that Todd in the Shadows has, but with metal albums. Cold Lake was the first album I discussed in the series.

From what I see, Google Bardy suffers from a lack of focus and a lack of originality.

If this is any indication of how Skynet decides its top targets, expect a tweet from them demanding we surrender the humans known for Peaches, Kitty, and Lump.

To see how much of a metal elitist a few things that you should ask Bardy are; Top 10 best metal albums Top 10 best and worst metal bands From worst to best get him to rank the metal genres and/or sub genres Top 10 best and worst front men and front women of all time. Top 10 most underrated metal bands/albums of all time Top 10 most controversial bands/artists/albums/songs/albums covers of all time. Be interesting to see how Bardy answers them if for no other reason than to see if he'll end up getting torched by metal fans.

Google Bard Worst Album picks 10-2: “This bot got every statement wrong!” Google Bard ripping into St. Anger: “I guess the chat bot knows what it’s talking about!”

Well "Virtual XI" has three good songs in my humble opinion (Futureal, The Clansman, When Two Worlds Collide). "Diabolus In Musica" sounds good to me. With the rest I agree. Good job.

So this turns out to be a video indicating how unreliable AI logic is, rather a video of the top 10 worst metal albums.

Bardy is actually being trained to post You Tube comments.

Tr00 kvlt AI edgelord ? Well, there was already an actual black metaller named "Bard", so you should not be surprised. The real problem is Bardy is often full of shit when it comes to facts, and does not seem to care. So Bardy IS a typical internet commenter.

what is it with bardy and lack of focus and inconsistent songwriting?

Bardy sounds like the name of a pirate metal parody band

Also, Bard claimed Franklin Pierce owned slaves even though he was from New Hampshire, a state that banned slavery. Not that it makes his Presidency any better, considering how much of a Kid Rock-type of a dough face he was.

come on, there's way worse albums than these, these are probably the worst albums of famous bands but nowhere as bad as other releases by other bands

I never thought I would ever think I would personally hate an AI for reasons other than being an AI, but here we are with an AI who is also a Black Metal Elitist. Blegh I'd also like to see a place where metal albums are ranked by humans and then you listen to the bottom ten. Its been a while since a RTP video and I think you're due for some suffering.

How is it any worse than all of the post Brave New World albums which are all overlong, repetitive, boring, plodding dreck

St. Anger was not Metallica's worst album. There was one that a lot of fans don't know about (and for good reason) called Lulu with Lou Reed doing the vocals. That one is the worst of all time in my opinion. Also I completely agree We've Come For You All is actually a pretty decent album.
@fclefjefff4041 Жыл бұрын
'Lulu' isn't a Metallica album, dingdong, it's a Lou Reed album.
