I actually liked TFUII with the only criticism I had was how short the game was. I also thought the OP god was the attraction to the TFU to begin with. I mean no one bought ether game for the story, but to cut a AT-ST in half or just crush it with the force. Or at least that's way I bought it.

+John Smith Totally agree. I have played all the battlefront games, but in the past I never had a chance to try the multiplayer, so for me, this is incredible. I feel that I want more content, not dlc, but with skirmish now as well, I think the game is beginning to have a decent amount of content. sure, it should have had it from the start, but that doesn't mean anyone should not play it now. I always get movie vibes while playing, and for some people, the cinematic feel is all you need

Woah man, battlefront one and two were the best Star Wars games of their time. Battlefront three rocked at the beginning and I was stunned at the graphics, then about two hours later, I tried all the levels and guns and got totally bored. Three needs a heck of a lot more content for it to actually be a good game. It's a good game but lacks content. I think they rushed Battlefront three, they spent to much time on the graphics and not the actual content of the game. It needs balance between graphic quality and content of the game itself.

It should also be noted that Darth Vader's transformations in the Famicom Star Wars game are not limited to a scorpion, but in the later levels, he turns into a skeletal pterodactyl, a shark, and a wampa (resembling the one from the beginning of The Empire Strikes Back). Also, Chewie kisses you when you rescue him.

+Coaster Countdown Crew when most of your content, which isn't even that much, is locked behind DLC you have an issue. And about age, a 10 year old would look at any Star Wars game before their time and whine that it isn't a pointless shooter like Battlefront like they're used to. Masters of Teras Kasi for instance was a great game for its time, yet since it isn't the next Mortal Kombat its criticized for its graphics even though at the time these graphics were just fine!

Mentioning the pod race game made me remember a game arcade podracer game, which was amazing, because it had good graphics and sound, and the steering mechanism was a copy of Anakin's pod racer controls. It was also "first person"," like you were really sitting on the cockpit. It felt awesome to race across Tatooine with it; it was almost like you were really there. Now I want a new version of it.

Yes I found Flight of the Falcon difficult to play too. The only thing I liked about the game was that it used the actual sound effects from the Star Wars movies. Plus at the end of the level where we're cruising down the Death Star trench in Luke's X-Wing, we hear Han Solo saying "You're all clear, kid." and then "Great shot, kid. That was one in a million." after we fire the torpedo into the exhaust port.

Well, if it wasn't so barren with content, it actually turns out to be a pretty fun shooter. They're talking about games that are almost unplayable and the worst of the worst. Battlefront, I'm afraid, doesn't fall under that category. It may be barren of content, but it still was playable.

More like a different developer wanting to cash in on the franchise. It's not a bad game at all, but EA teasing battlefront 2 instead of supporting the first one for years to come is just... well, EA. Personally I'd have loved a Battlefield 3 with Star Wars Skin. I'd also love to get a new Star Wars Racers (not many Sci Fi racers around these days), a new Jedi Knight (no other Star Wars game ever since has come close to that light saber gameplay), a new Knights of the old Republic (Bioware at it's best) or a new Empire at War (imagine what spacebattles could look like with today's graphics. Not to mention the 3 strategic dimensions aka ground battles/space battles/tactical galaxy map - oh the possibilities). So many great games, so many inspiring material. But EA chose to take the least effort way. Wasted opportunities :(

I owned "Flight of the Falcon" for a while, and I feel the game gets a bad rap. At the same time, the designers inexcusably ignored a lot of easy fixes to obvious problems. The most fundamental prob was that they second guessed their premise by mixing in stages with landspeeders and bikes instead of just the Falcon. Then the messed up passwords wouldn't even let you hack to the next stage.

I have two of these games. Rebel Assault 2 and Flight of the Falcon. You can't get past mission 2 in either of them. But Rebel Assault 2 was fun for a kid like me. An arcade shooter mixed with a flight sim? I didn't care if it was bad, I was a kid.

I like Rebel assault 2 and most of the modern games have that kind of depth in the gameplay. And Masters of teräskäsi is only PSone fighting game what I still play, and what I have been playing fighting games since Street Fighter 2, the Masters of teräskäsi is only fighting game where the moving in the depth direction works and feels natural.

I think I'll always love Masters of Teras Kasi. Looking back now I can see it was terrible, but when I was a young teenager, there was nothing better. I spent countless ours with it, and still have the disc. I had a lot of fun.

Two things: First, Masters of Teras Kasi needs to be higher on the list. I'd say number 3 or 4 at least. Second, Rebel Assault 2 is a classic. I reinstalled it a few weeks ago to show my son and it is not at all clunky or difficult to control. The graphics don't hold up, but lets be real....how many games from the 80's and 90's can say that they can?

Star Wars: The Old Republic expansion "Knights of the Fallen Empire" is terrible as it tries to make a single-player game... out of an MMORPG. Let THAT sink in for a minute before I knock your socks off with this tidbit: Originally the game was developed by Bioware underneath Electronic Arts, but after a scant 4 months after SWTOR first released, Electronic Arts fired Bioware from the project and took the helm themselves... And since then we've been dealt with more and more and more and more and more and more and more... and MORE of Electronic Arts micro-transactions: coeurtesy of the Cartel Market. Precious dev-time both spent AND WASTED on making millions upon millions of Cartel Market items, instead of using them on other crucial things that an MMORPG needs to both be relevant and playable. Things like more Flashpoints, more Factions and Rewards, more Operations, Minigames, More PvP scenarios including a dedicated Guild PvP and item rewards for said Guilds that participate.

EA's battlefront has been out since last December I believe. it still only has 2 expansions. No Chewbacca. No Ben Kenobi. No space battles. I could go on forever. I wish they would open the servers on the old battlefront games. Much more content equals much more fun. If you're one of the delusional people who thinks EA's Battlefront is even slightly ok, you seriously need mental help. Sure great graphics, great sound.... Horrible game.
