Mansions of Madness is too hard to win. Played it 10 times, never won. Once played a scenario for 5 hours and didn’t come close to winning… not played it since.

Western Legends was my number 1 game for a few years and still sits in my top 5, but Dead Reckoning took over that #1 spot. Are you going to try Western Legends Stories? When it comes out would love to get your opinion on it and how it compares to base WL. Thanks for putting this list together!

I've got Western Legends, Ankh, Ark Nova, and up until recently Obsession. Want to try TI4 at some point. My buddy got Scythe and we just played it for the first time last week!Such fun games listed! I bought Sheriff of Nottingham and Western Legends around 5 years ago and finally played Sheriff of Nottingham for the first time with some family members last night. Before covid hit (2020), I was playing games at least once a month, and then it came to a dead stop. It's been really hard getting people back together to start gaming again.... Great video, thank you both!

I think I would love this game but haven't bought it for that exact reason: the last time I've been able to group 4+ people around a table was ages ago. I miss my Dune the boardgame so much :(. Since Covid I only buy games for 1-2 player(s).

Ark Nova has the venomous animals to impede other players as well. But I've seen that happen so little I might forget that too!

@@DicetowerBryan It's strange, a game like RISK is almost 100% attacking someone else and it feels fine, but if someone uses a measly offensive card against me in Ark Nova, it feels so wrong. Other games too like Pax Pamir, when someone uses a spy against me, I feel so very offended. 😄

I would love a 2nd edition that tightened up a couple things from the expansions and more cohesively made everything work together if you wanted to play with everything, but not that I know of.

I do not get the love for River Valley Glassworks. It takes one part of the FAR superior game Caesar’s Empire and tries to make a game of it. No. Looks great, but nothing to it.

That’s an awfully strong take lol! “I don’t like your face and voice and the clothes you wear or the country you come from and your last name” “I’m just expressing an opinion” may not be the defense you think it is. Plus asking for “The Big 3” in our video when they’ve already done one is a silly thing to say in my last video of the top 100 as if I’m going to change the style before I do another one in 4 years. And retreating behind, “I’m just helping you get better” assumes I want to do it in a different style.
