I love off a Chromebook! Especially for travelling! I own a digital marketing agency and being about to just open up everything Google related in seconds. They just work so much quicker than my Windows Desktop despite costing well over £1,000! They definitely have a place in the world ❤️

Love the Lenovo Duet 3. Bummer that I still can't get the Lenovo USI Pen 2 (so basically penless! Anybody got recommendations, it really is confusing what will work besides the official offering)! A bit concerning that these USI Pens are not compatible and have different versions. I thought the whole point of USI Pens were to be universally compatible and not have to worry about these issues we're having now. We still have the original Duet and love it, and love the fact that different USI Pens work with it (Penoval, etc). Seems like a bad precedent that those pens aren't compatible at all with the Duet 3. Hope new USI Pen specs don't come out every other year rendering previous versions obsolete/incompatible. At least with the S-Pen, the pen on my 2016 tablet still works w/today's Samsung tablets and vice versa.

yeah i ran into the same problem. i bought the duet 3 as soon as it was released in my region, only to discover that it only supports 2nd gen USI pen - which was not available.

I bought a duet 3 when it launched in UK, which was quite a while after the US launch. It came with the new pen included, maybe see if a UK retailer can sell you the pen and ship to your country?

Google needs to drastically improve the tablet experience on ChromeOS if they want more OEMs to keep pushing detachables. Right now it's a painful experience, with no pull to refresh, incredibly buggy keyboard, no touch keyboard for Linux apps, etc. It feels like Google has just completely ignored tablet mode completely.

I picked up an Amazon Renewed HP x2 Chromebook 11" detachable for $243.75 USD, shipped. I'm just delighted with it. It's the first Chromebook I've had since the OG unmarked beta test laptop I got from Google. I've got the Linux VM working and am enjoying the Android app support too. I know it's last year's model but with 8GB of RAM, a functional keyboard & a stylus included I don't know why it didn't make this list -- but the Duet 3 did. Your review of the x2 actually recommended it over the Duet 3. What's with that?

Has the channel done a review of the Asus CX3/CB3 (CB3400)? I was particularly looking at the i3 model (i3-1110g4, 8GB RAM & 128GB storage), as it is fairly cheap and as I plan to use it more as a media consumption device (and some web browsing), I probably don't need an i5 or i7. I have an aging android tablet I use for KZbin, Twitch etc. and the tablet market seems pretty poor now, slim pickings. Whereas Chromebooks seem to have better specs, more features and includes Play Store app support.

I don't disagree with your suggested devices, save one. I've owned 5 from your list, incuding the HP Dragonfly i3 for the past 6 weeks. However, the Dragonfly just isn't worth the price! My HP X360C 14 from a year ago (discounted to $331) is just as good in every way EXCEPT it lacks the 3:2 display. Save $600 or more, buy the HP X360C.

Dragonfly Chromebook vs Framework: - 34.7% slower - $90 more expensive - 50% less storage @ 128gb, not upgradeable - 8GB of RAM, not upgradeable - 50% less USB-4 ports Imo, the Dragonfly is an enterprise cadillac device with good profit margins. It's meant for business expects more than engineers and students. Disclosure, my framework Chromebook is on it's way from Taiwan.

Had my 1st Acer Chromebook 8 years ago.....11.6 Budget level entry. Finally it cannot update Chrome, and Videos were not able to play. I actually thought I bought a Samsung Book. Oh well it is a Windows, Not chromebook. It is an entry level and very happy with it, for $99 Clearance. Snapdragon version....it was cheaper then a Chromebook

too heavy. 14 inch is perfect size wise and light weight as well. I go to starbucks a lot with my chromebook. If it's 12 inch, then it's too small. I don't feel much weight in my backpack. If it's 17 inch and stays at home, then it's good. I believe it's better to use windows and chromebooks. Chromebook would be the main device 90 percent of the time. 10 percent would be windows.

chromebooks has it's place. I have both windows and chromebooks. 90 percent of the time, I use chromebooks. 10 percent of the time, I use windows. If you can only use one device, then I understand where you are coming from. I always wanted an andriod with a keyboard. it launches fast and has no virus or malware. No need to clean reinstall the computer, if your device get's infected. Your right though, chromebook by itself is not the best. If you can only have one, then windows and you get a lot more for your money. I don't think you should use a chromebook in school either. It's only for web browsing, and that is what I use most of the time. I like both
