I’m 22 so I think I don’t meet the usual demographic for wearing things like Royal Oud but it is such a nice fragrance. One of my favorites from Creed. I also love Mefisto Gentiluomo. I agree with you on its softness. To me the similarities between it and silver mountain water are very very slight. Mefisto Gentiluomo is softer and more “aquatic” and clean smelling. Silver Mountain Water is a little sharper and more abrasive. Thanks for your videos as always! I’m going to have to try a few of these :)

Sebastian, I like your presentations & respect your expertise, so I'm making bold to ask your advice. Last Christmas I got a bar of Crabtree & Evelyn "Vetiver & Juniperberry" soap. The fragrance is only available from them as soap. I find it intoxicating & have been sampling various Vetiver fragrances trying to find something similar without success. Lot's of delicious scents, but it's become an Idee' fixe to find one like this one. Do you have any ideas as to what might approximate this alluring smell?

Chanel's fragrance "Paris - Edimbourg" from the Les Exclusifs line. It has everything mentioned in descriptions of that soap except for sandalwood (which is replaced by cedar). Might be exactly what you are looking for!
