Get 10 lb chicken thighs boil off bone fish out bones add 3 bags egg noodles. Let cool to room temp put in mason qt jars dont can Put 2 in fridge and rest in freezer. Each time u take 1 out of fridge to eat twice a week. Take 1 out of freezer n put in fridge. I share with my cats. A can of cat food is 84 cents 2 a day is $1.68 a day 2 a week is$3.36 or $175 year. Which i put to principal of loans or mortgage.

I'm on the east coast of Canada...Nova Scotia....my Walmart go to is green giant frozen veggies....great value salsa is the best price at Walmart and I'm finding it comparable to other brands asci buy mild...also I find pickles a better buy at Walmart for the times I need them...and of course I always check there discount shelves and the discount clothing racks...there produce is generally cheeper than our regular grocery store...I do fresh local produce whenever I can...thank you for what you do... cheers

My daughter n me love ,the great value peanut Carmel n nougat candy bars are so good n taste just like Snickers. We couldn't find them on the shelves but then I looked on the very top shelves n found a box . My daughter has autism n was about to flip out because we couldn't reach them n of course no employees to be found or tall men. I went on a hunt to find something to get the box down,found a broom on a pole. My daughter was so glad n was like my mom is the goat. We bought two packs n left two down wear they belong

Pioneer Woman stuff - NO. Too froo froo. I agree that Walmart's Fuji Apple flavored water is the best flavor. I haven't had a PopTart or similar treat in years. I haven't had any Cheesecake Factory cakes; I'll have to try a slice. I can recommend Junior's cheesecake if you're in the Mid-Atlantic area. We save money by not buying processed junk foods at all. Fresh produce is better for nutrition, but not bought from Walmart due to APEEL chemical coating and pesticides. Natural almonds are a good snack. Walmart brand canned beans, tomato sauce and vegetables are the cheapest for the organic.

Be careful of Walmart produce, though, due to APEEL chemicals and pesticides sprayed on them. Walmart does have organic store brand canned and frozen fruits and vegetables, and canned beans and tomato sauce- all organic for cheap.

Not only is the chicken quarters bag a great deal for the meat, when you oven roast it as a sheet pan dinner, the bones are perfect for putting in your instantpot with water and veg scraps and cooking on high pressure for 3-4 hours for bone broth.

A big "NO" on pioneer woman dishes. "YES" on 10 lb bag of chicken leg quarters that we are a huge fan. Last week Kroger was $7.99. I never have a problem with store brand products. 2 weeks ago Piggly Wiggly special was $5.99 for the 10 lb bag of leg quarters. It had the backs attached. I cut the backs away and got 2 more meals such as Chicken stew or chicken and dumplings, chicken broth. 11 leg quarters = 7 meals for our family for $5.99. Yep! Big Score. Bought 3 bags.

Frozen veggies are more economical then fresh, and I’ve recently learned that they are just as nutritious as fresh, so the only fresh veggies I buy anymore are salad greens! And I can attest that if there is a Great Value brand (Walmart’s store brand) item available, not only is it a cheaper option but it tastes the same as name brand items - bc it has the exact same ingredients (just read the label for yourself!).

Why I don't shop @ Walmart.....1. they offer nothing to their customers, discounts would be nice (on stuff that isn't going to grow mold 2 days later). 2. They mark down stuff such as ice cream, meats, and eggs that have sitting on a rack of jeans and T-shirts over night. 3. Their employees hate their lives😂, I would know, I ask all the time, 80% wish they worked somewhere else, but it's hard to find the same pay. 4. Frozen veggies, frozen unsweetened fruit, big bag of potatoes (White or sweet) head of cabbage, canned or dry beans and lentils, fresh or frozen greens, store brand unsalted nuts. Don't use oil or added sugar or too much added salt, eat until your full. Whole food plant based is easy on a budget. Meat and dairy are expensive or junky.

My dad worked at a milk factory and it’s all the same they did so many gallons a day of their brand then so many more of great value just a different sticker. He got 4 free gallons every Friday we sometimes had great value sometimes the “fancy” brand. Same milk inside.

Walmart great value lightly salted chips are so good. Lightly salted so it helps blood pressure. The price was under $2. I thinl it was 65 grams of sodium. So much lower than most chips.also, thanks for the tip about 87 a lb. for leg quarters. We uad to pay $1.29 on sale the last time where our local store is cheaper.

Yes, I really like the GV lightly salted chips. They used to be $3.18 for the large (13 ounce) bag, but lately, they have been Rollbacked to $2.86. The lightly salted tortilla chips are good, too.

Do not recommend the Great Value pork sausage roll. It does NOT taste the same as Jimmy Dean, GV's has a very sulfur smell to it. Also, can not recommend any of the Pioneer Woman's "cerramic" products. They are very poor quality and break super easily. I also am a neutral kind of girl, so all of that color motif isn't my jam.

I like the flour blend (it's great for their dinner rolls recipe too), but the great value gf pasta is nasty. For the cheapest edible gf pasta I like barilla (at my walmart it's hiding with the regular barailla pasta). For the absolute best gf pasta I like Tinkyada brand.

About 15 years ago, there was a recall on Peter Pan Peanut Butter AND Great Value Brand Peanut Butter because of the a problem in the factory where they were both made. I reasoned that if they are made in the same factory, they are probably the same substance with different labels. I switched my brand loyalty and buy almost exclusively GV products now. And save a ton of money!

I’ve gotten into making my own yogurt with the Insta pot and I’m making about the same amount that goes into one of those larger tubs so about 32 ounces. I purchase high-quality milk so it’s about $4.50 with this kind of milk that gives me that total amount of yogurt. It’s not a full gallon and it’s pretty pricey obviously But it’s very high-quality. In the end though the results is about a price of $.14 an ounce for my yogurt and it was homemade with no other added crap into it and it probably taste better. Obviously I can make it cheaper with cheaper milk either way my point being is that even when shopping the clearance items, it still doesn’t beat homemade so I don’t think I’m gonna worry about sales and clearance the way you do. I know time is money. but it doesn’t take hardly any time to make that yogurt. I just put the ingredients in press the button and go and I think most people have an Insta pot…

Hi I enjoy watching your videos! I have to share what I learned… Sams club carries Quaker Oats for .07 cents an ounce!!!!!!!!! Yes it’s a large amount but they last forever!! 11.24 for 160 ounces That beats all stores and I keep an eye on it they will run a monthly special on it. Most stores only carry old fashioned OR instant but not both in the store but you can get it on their website shipped to you.

My favorite thing to do at Walmart is get the dollar French loaves of bread but get there when they're going to be discounted. I've gotten them for 40 cents a loaf and I'll get like 20 of them or so or however many I can and stick them in my freezer! I love pioneer woman. It’s beautiful. I have a grey white kitchen and this is my pop of color. Surprised you recommended hidden valley ranch packages. I really wanted to try them but stopped them years ago. They have mono sodium glutamate in them which is so so bad. It’s a flavor enhancer that gives many in my family an immediate headache which is insane. That has to be toxic if it does that. Love the chicken dipping sauce though too. Cotton Candy is the best flavor of the Clear American drink! 🤪 We have lots of food allergies in my family so we have to buy the Gluten Free Oreos (when our group wants Oreos...which are pricey but they are safe for everyone and delicious...so, we pay the big cost and are grateful they are something we can find in most stores). I do appreciate their price on frozen veggies and fruit...we used to buy their frozen broccoli florets often but they recently started listing a cross-contamination warning and it did not work with our food allergies anymore...so, just be sure to read the labels...sometimes Walmart's brand has a weird "May Contain" warning (Like their brand marshmallows may contain Tilapia...).

From walmart I like to get the bags of frozen peppers & onions. Kroger is the only other store in my area to have this combo and its more $$$. Also, the WM frozen stir fry veg is great. Aldi in my town has less selection than walmart for frozen veggies. Those WM pop tarts proudly proclaim on the front: NO High Fructose Corn Syrup. One of the first ingredients is corn syrup. Is that really any better than HFCS??? Oh, and butter on pop tarts is what killed off all but one Baselope back in the 80s.

I want to say aldi has cheaper oatmeal. But I've been a long time Aldi lover lol. My main store and then go to other stores for what they don't care. And aldi trail mix cajjun is best. My question is does anyone toast pop tarts? My kids think it's crazy to toast them 🤔

The great value Nutella is excellent. My son LOVES Nutella and we swapped to that one and go thru it like crazy. His fav snack is spreading that on a tortilla and rolling it up. I enjoyed his combination of the mini cinnamon eggo waffles with the spread on it.... Cheezits dipped in it is actually pretty good also lol.

The generic hazelnut spread is not good whatsoever. I know because we tried it. I can say that Nutella is superior. The gets so oily and separates after the first use. Nutella doesn't do that as fast. I will not shop at our Wal-Mart stores because they have become the favorite hang out of the new immigrants in my area, and they treat the store like a garbage dump.

Lume is a nome for me and my daughter- my daughter has special needs and showering is not a priority for her so I decided to give Lume a try. After a couple of weeks she started having a rancid odor she was showering every 3 days. I was using Lume as well so I decided to see what would happen if I &went 3 days between showering and the same rancid odor happened. I was able to detox my armpits with a vinegar wash after about 3 weeks. It took a couple of months for my daughter to get it out of her system . All of her dry wick shirts absorbed the rancid odor as well and I ended up throwing them away after multiple washes with vinegar and baking soda didn’t remove the odor. I emailed Lume just to let them know about our experience and was offered the option to buy a product from them that would supposedly take the odor out of the clothes. I guess we are not the only ones who have had this problem.

I have been buying Great Value brand for years. I love all their products and the prices. My husband is a researcher of allllllllllllll things!!!!!! And All the Great Value products are made on those other expensive brands lines. So YES to G V!!!!

With all the price increases, watch out tho bc you may actually pay more getting great value than some name brands. Popcorn and taquitos are 2 examples that I have found. Yes the price may be a little cheaper, but the actual amount is a lot smaller (shrinkflation) even tho the box is same size in comparison.

True story...way back when, I bought a bag of those chicken leg quarters and defrosted the bag in my sink. I went to open the bag and the pressure from defrosting lifted a leg out of the bag. It was surreal because the chicken foot was still attached. Freaked me out. Took it back. Fast forward to today, I raise my own chickens. I have never bought that bag of chicken again, but I am no longer as sensitive! 😂😂😂

Pioneer woman in moderation but not the dishes. I collect random Corelle dishes in blue and white. No to pop tarts and nutella. I only buy organic oats. I love their organic steel cut oats! I usually cook them with frozen fruit for breakfast. An occasional treat is the market side chicken brats. Yum! My daughter's favorite is jalapeno cheddar. I do buy their 4 packs of regular low-fat yogurt. We love the orange flavor! Then I get organic granola and mini chocolate chips for mix ins. It's much cheaper than the chobani flips. I have been wanting to get back into making my own yogurt and granola again. It's just so much easier to pick it up at the store. I agree with you on the homemade pancakes. My family revolts if I use a mix. I may have to give Krustez a try. Thanks for a great video!

I really hate going into Walmart because I live on the border of the Southside of Chicago. But... I get off work early enough that I can go at a non-peak time and avoid alot of crazy. The frozen chopped broccoli is a go to for when I make my daughter broccoli cheddar soup! Also the gluten free hamburger buns are almost $2 cheaper for the exact same pack that Jewel (Albertsons) has. So I try to be fast and just grab the few things.
