Lol it’s like complaining the loaf of bread you stole is stale. I get that you can download a patch to fix whatever the developers tried to keep you from doing but it’s really stupid to basically tell them, “hey the stolen copy I have is glitching” 😂😂😂😂

Eyes don't work that way, but I think having half the screen flicker and tear may be a better way to visualize having one of your eyes be covered up.

The Mirror's Edge anti-piracy was easily beaten. There were additional files you could download that would bypass the slowdown and let you play the game fully.

@Honey Hive Same here, best (or worst, depending on point of wiew) thing was friend actually bought the game and got this slowing. Dunno if it was bug or if his game thought it was pirated. In the end he solved it by cracking the game.

I know of one: Final Fantasy VIII for the original Playstation. HOW: In the late 90's, one of the most popular cheating devices for the PS1 and the N64 was the GameShark, and one of the most popular cheats was invincibility, and FF8 trolled invincibility cheaters to absolute perfection. The cheat worked...for 99.9 percent of the game, allowing players to march right through. THEN came the final boss; Ultimecia AKA "The Shark Killer." She embarrassed many cheaters by negating the gameshark, making the player play by the rules, and absolutely wrecking them.

If I recall, GTA:SA for the PS2 would wipe your memory card when entering too many cheats. Like hundreds or thousands of cheats so one-off cheating rampaging sessions wouldn't be likely affected. However, imagine your dismay when you -- the most accomplished NFL GM and winningest college coach that had simultaneously won WW2, became ISAF's best Ace, fought hordes of demons and ghouls -- had your heroic endeavors erased by your little cousin. I don't cheat anymore out of sheer paranoia and anguish.

One hilarious instant of the game trolling you if you cheat is during the opening moments of South Park: The Fractured But Whole basically if you enter the correct password into the Coon Lair door without figuring it out by going into Cartman's room and discovering it, he'll show up in a little screen dressed as New England Patriots head coach Tom Bellacheck and call you a "Tom Brady" in reference to the infamous Deflategate scandal keep doing this and he'll show up with various insults describing how you're a cheater.

If I were a game developer, I would have pirated copies leave you trapped in the tutorial forever. Once you beat the tutorial, you'll get a speech from a major character telling you that you're playing the game wrong, and that you need to go through the tutorial again to make sure you're doing it right. Then it'll go on and on and on... forever. It seems like a good way to punish cheaters for trying to save a few bucks.

Also with Dark Souls, if you quit the game so many times after being invaded, you get blocked 🚫 meaning that you can't summon other players nor can they summon you. You get one chance to get it removed. If it happens again it becomes permanent.

There is a caveat in Banjo-Kazooie, If you put in the codes for the Stop and Swap eggs, and the Ice Key, you CAN put them all in the game at once, however, if you collect the egg, that's it, you can't put the code in again, in a new game, or collect them again, you can only do it one time per console.

Riot games creator of League of legends. Have recently adopted a interesting new strategy for cheaters. See in order to cheat the game you would need to download a third party program that alters the game stream code. This is a huge violation of the user agreement. So the developers have introduced some software of their own that detects said programs. When it does it will uninstall the game and block any further downloads from there site. Making it impossible to redownload the game. And yes cheaters took to the games forums complaining about the game. When will they learn.

I wouldn't mind having the pirate edition if it gave you a permit pirate eye patch. Also, so what if you keep receiving messages to purchase the real game. If it doesn't affect the gameplay so what. Bad Graphics glitch for pirated games in The Sims, reminds me of the resolution of my computer screen. I can't play any of the new games without them looking like pixelated Graphics anyways. Every game I play looks like the graphics from an old CD game like Age of Empires or Diablo 2. I guess the only pirated tricks that might prevent someone from pirating, would be the ones that don't let you finish the game. But speaking of pirated games, I once bought a game from GameStop and it had a few of these glitches. I once went to the Forum and they said buy legitimate copy, but what if you buy one from the store and it's pirated?

Would you believe that the creators of "Game Dev Tycoon" put in an option to play the game in piracy mode? There's even an achievement that to where you have to beat the game in piracy mode called "Against all odds"

ive pirated so many games in my PC gaming life and I have never run into these kind of measures. Usually there's a fixed .exe that removes anything like that BUT I did get the serious sam 3 invincible scorpion in my legit version of the game showing that once again paying customers get the shaft. The sims 4 doesnt have that problem in any of the cracked releases out there (the one that has ALL the content saving you $500+)

So many people pirated Game Dev Tycoon after buying it so they could challenge the "Pirate Mode" the developers actually made it a legit setting in the game there are even two achievements for Pirate Mode: Statistical Anomaly (make it to level 2) and Against All Odds (beat the game)

Don't get me started with Pokemon Clover again I already talked about this from a similar list the game watches your every move, and knows what your doing simply by adding CodeBreaker, and Game shark Codes. The NPC Cops arrest you when your about to be Champion and your Pokemon in the Hall of Fame.
