Can't think of a better exemple than Celie and Nettie's reunion by the end of the Color Purple. So much scenes in that movie break your heart, but this is one ending to mend it and change the nature of your tears in the best way.

I always tear up when Miguel plays "Remember Me" for Coco, and she gets her memories of Hector back. A small, but poignant detail is when Miguel's guitar falls on his shoes, highlighting the two passions of his family: shoes and music.

"O my Captain, My Captain!" I always cry when the boys stand on their desks to protest against Keating's unfair dismissal, and his teary, grateful response of "Thank you, boys." It hits even more emotionally now, following Robin Williams' untimely passing.
@maryann76192 ай бұрын
I don't see it as a protest, but rather the boys are sending a message to Robin of his affect on them and how they will continue the legacy of the DPS.

I don't really care how people kept saying they hated the multiple endings for The Return Of The King, because it's always hard for me satisfying to see each character got their closures like the fellowship reunited, Aragorn crowded as king, The four hobbits return home to The Shire and Frodo depart for the gray haven, truly beautiful ending to close off the greatest film trilogy of all time.

Ms. Honey adopting Matilda after Maltida dealt with years of abuse from her parents. It also helped that in real life, Danny DeVito helped Mara Wilson through her mom’s death which happened months before the movie’s release.
@trinaq2 ай бұрын
Yep, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman were so unlike Matilda's self absorbed parents, really stepping up to take care of Mara and her siblings. Danny even revealed that before her mum's death, she was able to see a final cut of the film.

@@trinaqI heard about that. It reminded me of Wade Dominguez, who’s best known for playing Emilio in Dangerous Minds, who died from AIDS at the age of 32 in 1998. When he saw the final cut of his final movie in his hospital room, got emotional, and said he was good in the movie.

The Wedding Singer's end is heartwarming strictly on their faces alone. All I've ever wanted was for me and someone to look at each other in love the same way Robbie and Julia look at each other.

When I heard the premise of the video I smiled and told myself I wouldn’t cry. You got me. Another tear jerker: in Galaxy Quest, as Quellek lies dying, Alexander Dane starts reciting the blessing he so frequently denied saying earlier. The look on Quellek’s face just gets to me.

Harry huging Hagrid, Mary Jane choosing Peter and Aragorn's coronation; are my favourites.

Number 1 and Number 2 of this list really are probably the most I’m-sobbing-my-heart-out-for-all-the-right-reasons-moments-in-movie-history. Even though I only recently saw Shawshank Redemption and I have seen The Lord of the Rings countless times those two moments really are probably equally the most heartwarming moments from movies that I have ever seen ❤️ And I actually almost started crying (and really did tear up) when both of those moments came on 😭❤️

I can probably count on 2 hands how many films have made me cry. Number 1 will always be Hachi: a Dog’s Tale. As for the “heartwarming” moment that made me cry, it will be when Hachi closes his eyes and he imagines his master returning to him and they descend to the afterlife together. Every time, I watch that, I have to give my own dog a great big hug, just to let her know that no matter what, she is loved!!!

Apparently having Auld Lang Syne playing in your movie scene automatically makes it a heartwarming moment ❤️

(spoilers) I doubt anyone will agree with me, but the moment when Mrs Frisby uses the jewel to move her family's home in The Secret of Nimh. Fievel hugs his daddy at the end of An American Tail. Chunk tells Sloth that he'll live with Chunk's family because he loves him at the end of the Goonies. The ending of A League of Their Own when they watch "Kit" being hailed by her teammates. Nemo and his daddy hugging after Nemo was lost Penny's adoption in The Rescuers Charlie hugging the elderly lady at the end of Firestarter (Drew's version) Toothless showing his romance skills to the white fury in How to Train Your Dragon.... I've grown up on movies... XD

Here's a heartwarming honorable mention: The ending of "Ben", where the title rodent reunites with the little boy, Danny, after he gets injured from surviving an attack on him and the other rats, and the boy tends to his injuries while crying. The icing on this emotional cake is Michael Jackson singing the title song during this scene and as the credits roll. Believe me, I couldn't stop crying after seeing this scene.😭😭😭 It's moments like this that prove that even in horror movies, there is some sweetness underneath all the darkness.🖤🐀

One moment that ALWAYS gets me to start pretty much hyperventilating crying is the ending of August Rush when August and his parents are finally all back together. The funny thing is you don’t even see the three of them have a big emotional reunion fully. You see the three of them in the same place all finally drawn back together by music. But the scene where August’s mother is walking through the crowd trying to get close to the talented child that she knows is her son who she thought she had lost years ago and then August’s father seeing his old love who he had always loved and had never wanted to lose and then the fact that they’re both there with their son (even though the father doesn’t know August is his son) and then August is on stage getting his moment to finally play his music not knowing that his parents who he had so longed to know his entire life were right behind him….then his mother and father find each other and they get to watch their beautiful, talented son who shares their love of music….knowing that they’ll finally get to be the family they always should’ve been….It’s one of those moments where I’m smiling the biggest smile while I have tears just incessantly pouring down my face. I love August Rush for so many reasons but that ending is definitely my favorite moment from the film. It’s so beautiful and perfect in every way possible
