I enjoyed all the tractors but more than John Deere ones because of my grandfather but all the other tractors I liked as well because I love the sound of a diesel engine and also there is something really relaxing about your videos it’s like listening to classical music while you’re watching a tractor go down the field it is soothing and comforting and relaxing

My favourites were all 70's and 80's machines, but especially 8850 😎 But for some reason i like also really much the look of that 2wd JD 8100, maybe because you don't see those big modern 2wd's in Europe. Anyone else who likes that 2wd 8100?

I ran our farms 8550 for thousands of hours. Could pull crazy stuff traction being the limiter. DMI 12 bottom plow once taking 320 acres our of CRP. DMI makes the heaviest most over engineered plow.

I like the JD 4630 FWA tractor the best. I am very found of all 4000 series tractors, from the 4010 all the way up to the 4960. Of course i prefer the FWA option on all models of tractors. My second choice of the examples that you showed us was the JD 8850. All though, i must admit that the rubber tract type tractors of today, give farmers the most traction in the field.

Previously I asked if you have a colour preverance you said no. All off America seems to use only John Deere tractors. New Holland Case and the rest can withdraw from THE USA as JD is the only tractor getting coverage from BTP
@jimc47314 жыл бұрын
Your statement is simply not true! JIM
@RyTrapp04 жыл бұрын
It just varies. By virtue of Deere having the most market share, you're inherently likely to see more Deere than any other brand - but BTP ALWAYS covers a large variety over larger spans of time. Note that some of the content is following the same few local farms year around, and I believe that most of them have Deere, so that repeat content may 'artificially boost' the amount of JD videos on here. The one-off visits will feature just about anything, of just about any vintage. All of them working too. The variety in this video isn't unlike the variety typically covered by BTP
@francelvaneeden60334 жыл бұрын
@@oe542 OKI understand. Do me a favour. How many John Deere clips in this video add all the tractors up by Brand. Then check the sales figures from 2016 to 2019 Only in the USA to get a feel of Brand distribution. Compare national sales by brand to what percentage we normaly see on BTP and then we talk again
@francelvaneeden60334 жыл бұрын
I did that hence my statement because the real figures are not represented by the clips

What idiot for lack of a better word is driving that 4786 and 50 foot harrow, full open throttle it sounds like is mad, that tractor probably could pull that harrow in idle or just above, just find a hogher gear and stop wasting fuel, energy and the engine wear when you dont have to run so open, you would only need a third of that HP to pull that harrow, and yes I do have experience. It just really rankles me that some drivers dont know how to operate their machines properly or just economically and with wear and tear in mind too.
@bigtractorpower3 жыл бұрын
Well that’s my tractor. It only ran over 10 acres to be videoed for the channel. I only get the tractor out once or twice a year to exercise it. It was running so people could hear the V8 engine at work as V8 tractors with the original engine are rare to find these days. Basically it was in the field to show it in action. Most of the time it tucked away in the shed to preserve it.
