Ms Mojo articulating that lump I had as a kid in my tummy I couldn't explain in the makeover episodes so well. Tyra was savage
@markalexander36593 жыл бұрын
I wish some of the contestants would have had the confidence to go with their gut and say "no" to Tyra when they felt very strongly that the makeover would not work for them or that they hated it. Not even necessarily saying "no", so much as "can we try...?" or "can we compromise on...?" etc.
@Octobris3 жыл бұрын

My conspiracy theory is that Tyra legit thought that this was the best option for her - and I agree, if she cut that extra inch off it would have been so cool! But then she and/or the producers saw the Drama & Great TV(tm) that followed, and started doing wild things to the girls purely to recreate that moment.
@lexxitrexxi3 жыл бұрын
I strongly disagree with a few of these especially the two tone, I have two tone hair (I've had it for years) and I love it and thought hers looked good too. But I always was repulsed by Trya Banks' behavior and the mistreatment of the contestants. For someone claiming they are having only the best professional do those haircuts/styles, most of the weaves look horrendous and they don't understand how to style pixie cuts.

Maybe I'm just ignorant to the world of fashion, but if they need a model to have specific hair for a shoot, isn't it easier to just have them wear a wig that's basically the right style and color to begin with? I know hair and makeup can make most wigs look real. Why go through the drama of messing with someone's hair if it isn't necessary?

Christina wasn't the oldest in cycle 24, it was Erin who was 42. And to add to that, makeovers were made to create artificial drama not to help models in any way. I feel like it would be much better if instead of forcing makeover they asked models to recommend three possible makeovers each for themselves only. So they basically choose their own style. That would be fair, but then, where is the fake drama?

I am surprised that the black face dod not show up on here. I get that being a model os sort of like being a doll and you have to experiment with new looks. However, it should not get in the way of someone’s health or self-esteem. If these hair stylists are professionals, why do they get it so wrong multiple times? Also, if someone os crying and revealing something to you, stop yelling at them and listen.
