I don't see many people mention it, but thank you so much for putting in the effort to provide accurate captions. I appreciate it! Even though I'm not hearing impaired, I always have subtitles on, because I process better when I see the words. The auto-generated subtitles on other channels are maybe better than nothing, but are often so wrong they're useless. Thank you again for putting in that extra effort 😊

As a Wisconsin native and friend of the Merricks (owners of Little Amerricka) it was absolutely SURREAL to see the Swiss Toboggan featured here. This amusement park is chock full of bizarre retro rides you won't find anywhere else these days. I remember loving to ride this multiple times in a day as a kid but now as an adult I wouldn't touch it. Awful, claustrophobic design and the cart always feels like it's going to fly off the tracks on those end bumps.

Morals of the story. Don't let RCCA or Togo build your coaster, make the transitions smooth, don't use shoulder restraints, riders are better off sitting down, don't make the coaster car a cage, and strangest of all don't make a Green Lantern roller coaster since two of the three that exist are on this list.

I'm an enthusiast who loves Arrow Dynamics. They are one of my favorite coaster manufacturers and I'm used to every "Worst Coaster" list being FULL of Arrow rides. This is the first list I have ever seen that didn't go in that direction. Only Ninja popped up, which makes me believe that more enthusiasts are beginning to appreciate (or at least forgive) the unique fun that can be had on some classic old steel coasters. This is a rare list where I understood and agreed with most of the choices.

The problem was they would not distribute the weight equally on the trains, so 1 side would rotate constantly and the other not at all. So the braineacts at six flags thought that by putting the side panels up this would help. It did not. People would come into the station still upside down. Men found it especially horrible, as it would crush their nutsack like a squirrel with a acorn

I love coasters, and so I'm sad that I've "aged out" of riding the extreme ones. There's a reason why you don't see many grannies and grampies on coasters, so I enjoyed your video A LOT, reliving the pain, er, fun. Your comments are hilarious; I was either laughing or cringing through your list. Back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, my husband and I rode all the extreme coasters here in Southern California. We learned to avoid some of the over-the-shoulder harness ones. His back would scream at him, but he had it easy. I'm a shorty, blessed/cursed (take your pick) with big b**bs, so my rides were especially eventful as my entire head was flung left and right into the restraints and my b**bs were flung up and down. No sports bra could withstand the challenge. I'd get off those rides feeling like a Rubic's cube that needed to be solved. Wish I could be that Rubic's cube again for a day or two. Thanks again for the great content!

I'm honestly shocked at how Indiana Beach has screwed up All American Triple Loop so badly. Hopefully they can fix it in the coming offseason and maybe even try and give it new and improved trains, but for this coaster to be a total flop after having so much excitement surround it (and also being delayed) would be a disaster for the park.

I wonder how much you can blame on IB or how much the track suffered in Mexico wen the ride ran with no trim brakes. I am sure that didn't help. The fact that it was relocated alone can't be it. I rode Flashback in 8th grade for our grad night. There was no line. When we got on, I was with two girls in my class. One of them suggested we pull the shoulder restraints down on her friend after launch. We succeeded too well. The bottom of the restraint dug deep into her gut, and every bump made her grunt. At the end, it knocked so much air out of her she couldn't say no and we got 3 re-rides in. Once we got off the ride, she pulled up her shirt, and her stomach was red from riding it. I felt bad because we didn't realize how bad it was.

The fact that Montezum isn't in this list is just crazy! Except for Time Warp at CW, it's easily the worst coaster I've been on. Montezum is rough even during the lift, that RCCA is just terrible, had a much better experience at Coaster Express My top 10 worst coasters are 1. Time Warp 2. Montezum 3. Manhattan Express (rode it w/old premier trains) 4. Mighty Canadian Minebuster 5. Soarin' Eagle at Coney Island 6. Kong at SFDK 7. Raptor at Fantasilandia 8. Wilde Beast 9. Demon at CGA 10. I feel so validated that Green Lantern is the worst. Short story: After my family rode this for the first time we were all complaining about how much it hurt, especially in the nether regions. Shortly after riding we walked past a custom wooden sign souvenir shop named “Woody’s Woodshop” and my Dad stated that after the experience we just had on Green Lantern, he’s going to need to pay a visit to Woodys Woodshop 😉🤣. Even though this coaster is gone it is certainly not forgotten.

Im 42 and my fav coaster ever was The Mantis at Cedar Point. A standup that was shutdown too. I understand why. Knowing how to ride it was key for it to be amazing or not suck. You had to bend the knees and sag your weight about 2-4"s until the ride cart locked. Once you did, it was the greatest 90's sky surfing you could imagine. Smooth, comfortable, fun and intuitive. It gave you a lil feeling of control like a fake skateboard. Over and over. However.... If you did not adjust yourself while boarding, and stood up tall while being locked in, it would take your tailbone and manhood in a 4 minute process of unique torture. RIP Mantis, a Ferrari amongst Hyundais. 😔 The most known bruising coaster at Cedar pt through the 80s/90s was wooden The Mean Streak. Good luck to any knees over 6' and all necks snapped. Teenagers avoided it.

I’ve revisited Little Amerricka recently and went on the Swiss Toboggan. Its been several years since I’ve been to the park so I wasn’t as quite as I am now so never had an issue with hitting my head from what I can remember. However I’ve grown quite a bit from the last time. My head was practically touching the top of the cage so I was pretty squished which made it uncomfortable. The turns are still pretty fun though. I just wish the carts design was better to make the ride more comfortable. I’m really happy that this roller coaster model was included since I’ve had a lot of childhood memories at Little Amerricka.

I'm only a moderate coaster rider, but for me the two worst coasters I've been on was the New York/New York you mentioned, and Ghost Rider at Knott's Berry Farm, in the mid 2010s. I literally could feel my brains rattling in my head, and was worried I would have a seizure. I've been told it has been re-tracked and is much better now, but I haven't had the chance to ride it again. The Toboggan was the 1st non-kiddie coaster I rode. I don't remember much about it other than I was able to ride a "big boy" coaster. I think I rode it once since then, and don't remember anything good or bad about it.

I've been on Tornado at M&D's in Scotland and it is truly the worst, I wasn't even there for the theme park it was just weirdly next to our hotel so we went as you only payed for the rides you went on. Before I found out Pinfari made it, I just presumed some mad Scott in a shed had done it. But yeah it had quite a lot going on 2 loops, 2 inversions and a corkscrew. Firstly the strap holding me in was frayed, it was very rough, all I remember from it is being jiggled about and I paid £2.50 for the privilege, the track was rusting and it had scaffolding around it and no one else in my group would go on it but me, because they didn't trust it. So it was just me and a couple on the thing. we were both put in the middle, I never thought about how odd that was but later on I found out the ride is so bad at the ends, the guy was just trying to make the ride as pain free as possible. I genuinely don't remember much about about it, except my head getting smashed about. There is a video of it on KZbin and the camera breaks before the ride is over because it got smashed on the last inversion it was that bad, that last inversion was also later removed due to it being so bad.

Though I miss it: LETHAL WEAPON PURSUIT from Warner Bros. Movie World Germany (or later known as COO Car Chase in then renamed Movie Park Germany) was one LOUD and RATTLING experience. A racing coaster where later only one of both where operating. A loop in the dark with flash lights and a burning car fying over your head before a double barrel roll was really something. But the noise. Dude, the NOISE and the rattling. Felt like, IDK a animal in a factory, knowing it will be slaughtered any time

Astroworld in Houston had one of those (#16) Toboggan coasters way back in like 1973-1974. It was called the Swamp Buggy or something like that, and I believe it was only there for two operating seasons. I was in elementary school back then and don’t remember all that much about it, other than that it looked TERRIFYING and I wanted to ride it!!! I convinced my dad to take me on it and we both regretted our decisions. I think it threw my dad’s back out, and it left me really dizzy and motion sick. Back then, Astroworld only had two coasters, Dexter Freebish’s Electric Roller Ride, a very tame steel-tube coaster, and the Alpine Sleigh Ride, which was a much-tamer version of Disneyland’s Matterhorn. I mean MUCH tamer. It was as much a dark ride as it was a coaster, although it had a few small drops. The wooden Texas Cyclone coaster didn’t open for a few more years, so the Swamp Buggy was a failed attempt to put in a real thrill ride, I think. I have no idea why it was only there for such a short period, but I imagine it was because everyone who rode it hated it.
