The character designs look so ugly and unoriginal. It feels like the game is trying so hard to be like Guardians of the Galaxy and Overwatch while trying to appeal to the mythical "modern audience" at the same time. The new Dragon Age suffers from the same thing, big corporations are so out of touch and don't seem to understand what their core audience wants.

@@BlakeCDMedia I think it will take a major change of power and direction in the world for their to be true change. Many of the big corporations and even some smaller companies receive some form of economical incentive for pushing these ideas onto the world, and some of these corporations know that the vast majority of costumers don't enjoy the very blatant agendas and identity politics that they've been pushing for, but they will continue doing so as long as the incentives and the investment money are there. Luckily for us, there are many older games that are still worth playing to this day and some of them are way better than the stuff we get nowadays, so there is really no real loss.

I'm kind of interested in Life Is Strange picking up with Max, but the game I really want DONTNOD to go back to is Remember Me. That game and some of the systems in it had so much potential, but it was only like 75% of what it could have been. I really wanted them to iterate on what they did in that game, but sadly (and ironically, given the name), it seems to have been completely forgotten.

@@devonbewley7753its return to budokai tenkaichi formula for a dragon ball game after a lot of time, and the last budokai tenkaichi was for ps2 i think. That formula od dragon ball games is legendary for everyone who played it, and a lot of people played it

@@devonbewley7753 It was the most complete and had one of the best rosters in the history of most fighting games, literally anyone who threw hands from dragonball all the way to the buu saga and gt was in this game and they had all transformations. Some of the newer games skip these tiny details; like including all of a characters transformation stages, the details about the great apes needing moons to transform unless it was vegeta or king vegeta, cell having to transform through all stages not just straight to perfect, or having a team battle but since you have goku and vegeta you could fuse to vegito or gogeta, etc. It was really a labor of love to the franchise and was truly one of the best I still own my copy today ngl the last one came out on playstation 2 so it's also been a long time waited. All in all just good to see budokai tenkaichi or sparking zero as its called now making a return just we are all hoping the wait was worth it.

I know DragonBall games have been a little bit of a “dime a dozen” the last few years, but Sparking Zero is a new rendition of the Tenkaichi series which is arguably the best DB game series to exist. But theres a lot of games I loved as a child that I would love to play today with better looking graphics and better quality of life improvements to the controls One example (I'm a little older) but I loved Links Awakening when I was a kid and when Nintendo rereleased it with today's graphics, I thought they did a phenomenal job and I was hooked from beginning to end. If theres consistent quality remasters and remakes, there should always be a market for it

I still think it is a total shame that the new Indiana Jones game is first person 😑 Was hoping it would be something to scratch my Uncharted / Tomb Raider itch 🤷‍♀️ I will still try it though. Wu Kong, Outlaws, The Thing remake and Flintlock look prety cool. I am also really looking forward to Slitterhead and Silent Hill 2 remake ☺️ Lots of interesting things in this second half of 2024.
