Awesome video!!! You're really simplified the selection process and made it easy to understand. I really learned a lot watching that, thank you so much. I'm going to watch it again and again till I have it memorized. It's a great way to go out on the ice with a plan. The view from underneath that you showed in the fish tank was incredible and I was really was able to see the difference in profiles that you discussed, also to use plastics and color matching on the drop kick jig with the matching plastic in that fluorescent orange color looked great. Downsizing with the Clam half ant vertical jig with the plastic rigged horizontal was a great tip.

Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

What size clam pinhead is good for crapppie ?

Can you guys make 1/16oz tungsten jigs specifically for crappies? The crappie/bluegill jigs with the teenie tiny little hooks drive me up the wall. Our lakes dont have gills and getting larger crappies to stick on those little hooks consistantly just makes me want to pull my hair out.

Have you checked out the Clam Drop XL series with the larger wide gap hook? I use them a lot for perch, crappie and even walleye.

@@JasonMitchellOutdoors ill check them out on the clam website i assume? Tackle selection here is very limited. Getting anything other than cheap walleye/pike gear is pretty tough.
