@@kega6487😂😂😂😂 I get it. You have to find your happiness in something else not in food. Speaking from someone who likes pancakes, loves crackers. PS: Being funny, but to speak truth, the Dr. may not like this, however after doing true keto 3 years) Now, on my 5 year I do eat Wasa Crispbread it does have 8 grams of carbs, but no sugar and 35 calories. I looked everywhere trying to find something I could eat, because I didn't want to grab anything on the days of craving, this was the best. I add mustard for a base to whatever I'm adding, if it's not almond butter, it makes it taste better. I feel my body is handling just fine. Good Luck! It's not easy, but in time those cravings will diminish, then go away, especially if you are eating good food. You can do it! Sending you many prayers. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

Dr Berg this is amazing. I recently started fasting during the lent season. I have made mistakes breaking my fast. I also am overweight. I am in my 50’s and this is tough to lose the visceral fat. I also have a narrow air way in my throat so “good sleep” needed for weight loss is a hindrance. I am really trying. Working out creates anxiety (not sure why I played sports when I was younger.) I also wake up with a pain in my belly like anxiety. My fast the last 2 weeks has been last meal Monday at 7 pm until Friday at noon. I have lost 6 pounds. The weekend when I eat is when it all goes wrong. I will keep watching your videos.

Some that were particularly helpful are; 1. What is Betaine HCL? - Dr Berg explains how to use it (Dr Eric Berg DC, 2 Dec 2018) 2. Need Potassium to Make Stomach Acid - Dr. Berg on Potassium & Low Stomach Acid (Dr. Eric Berg DC, 22 Sept 2018) 3. In Depth with Dr. Wright: How to Take Hydrochloric Acid and Enzymes (i wonder, doctor, 21 Feb 2017). I then took Betaine HCL and digestive enzymes (Betaine HCL after 2 or 3 mouthfuls then digestive enzymes at the end), and after a number of months things were ok.

During the covid 2020 lockdowns, I started having panic attacks about food shortages, how to avoid people, etc. I have been retired since 2012, so I really don't need to go a lot of places anyway. Then I discovered food delivery services so that I could avoid people. I began to eat out of stress, so I was ordering all sorts of comfort foods. Gained 20 pounds. After the covid drama died down, I went back to Keto, IF and OMAD and lost all the extra weight. If I ever feel tempted to stray from my healthy routine, I have a note taped to my computer that reads "watch Dr. Berg". Works great every time! I appreciate you so much, Dr. Berg. Glad you started back. You got this. Now you need to tell yourself this. Remember the mind and body works together and the words you say or someone says to you can effect how things turn out in your health journey. I would suggest to get a notebook and write down everything you eat. The good, bad and ugly, meaning even if you slip and had a donut at work or something, because when I help people they sometimes forget about that donut here, a bagel there and they add up. It is a helpful way for you to see what is really happening, keep you accountable. I still do this every day for the last 5 years.Yes, it can be a pain sometimes, but it is soo helpful. Good Luck!! 😊

I work out early morning before starting my day. Take a 32oz bottle of water with added electrolyte powder (Dr. Berg brand 🙃). Didn’t eat til around 3/4pm, eat grass fed meats and organic veggies, lots of healthy nuts 😉, made keto fat bombs, and no added carbs, just have carbs from veggies and clean eating. I did not follow everything to a ‘T’. Listened to my body, paid attention to what made me feel good. Never been so healthy or felt better in my life. Have more energy, physical well-being at 50 years young than I did @ 25. It may feel challenging at times to break away from old habits, but the payoff of priceless! I look better, feel better, and my bloodwork is all A1! Once attuned to your body, it will guide you. We’ve been ‘fooled’ and programmed all our lives to think what is GOOD is bad for us! Best of luck on your journey. You CAN make the change! 😊

I’d also like to add, BRAIN HEALTH was impacted in a HUGE way! No more meds. Our symptoms are ‘treated’ with pills. Turns out the only ‘medicine’ I needed was proper nutrition (low carb/sugar). Has seriously changed my life. Since I began my journey almost 18 months ago, I’ve since discovered A LOT of interesting info about brain health and this type of diet. They don’t want us knowing these things bc once we discover what is really true, we move out of the loop, the cycle, of the ‘sick-care’ system! Food IS medicine!! ✨

Saw this food disorder documentary - this Dr was sitting at a table while this lady ate a lunch of her favorite food, buttered cooked noodles. They chatted, she ate away, and every once in a while, he'd ask her "Are you still hungry?" yes, ok keep eating, and she would. This went on for days of this lunch. He ask, she'd keep eating until she was done. Then one day, he blindfolded her, and then handed her her bowl of pasta. They chatted, but this time, the second time he asked her if she was still hungry, she paused, and said No. She looked at her half full bowl in surprise. And the next day, she ate quietly and just stopped on her own.

I’ve lost ~10-15 lbs in the past few weeks from following a lot of your advice. I’m no stranger to “fasting” because I would usually never be hungry when I wake up and would wait until later in the day to eat, but on my old diet full of unhealthier stuff I would notice that I would start feeling really groggy before I finally ate that first meal. I’m not feeling that now, and I feel generally better and more energized while I’m fasting before that meal. I’m eating all natural foods, more vegetables, meat, eggs, only carbs I’m eating are boiled red potatoes (and carbs from other veggies) and the occasional Ezekiel bread, and it’s already made a world of difference just a few weeks in. Thanks so much for what you do on here.

True. Year 1, lost 25kg with minimal carbs and 30mins light/ medium exercise 5days a week. Year 2, gained back 13kg within 7months eating more carbs but same exercise. 16/8 IF over this time. I suffer from kidney stones, so I minimised salt intake.

Great advice and it works just as you said. I know because I've gone from 240 to 193 just doing fasting. Now I'm avoiding carbs and sugars and seeing the scale move down again. 😊 important plus to very little carbs and sugar has been my RA pain reduction. Like 75% better😊

December 1796 - 16 March 1878) was a notable English undertaker. Formerly obese, he is also known for being the first to popularise a weight loss diet based on limiting the intake of carbohydrates, especially those of a starchy or sugary nature.

Muslim's Holy lunar's month the RAMADAN is here. We start doing fasting at the age puberty around 12year or near to up to very old age till we are able to do. And each every single day of the holy month. It is kind of a dry fast 16-18 hours depend on the region. Fast starts almost an hour before down till sunset. It's a compulsory fast everyday in month if we miss you to illness or travel what should count those days and complete these after that month. We kept doing this practice from last 1400 years.

I do intermittent fasting. I get up around 4:30am for work and I'm honestly not usually hungry until like 1p. It's not always about being hungry or not being hungry for me, it's about cravings & wanting something, even if it's just a soda. Honestly, if I didn't crave sodas, I would have the perfect diet.

Like you I have pasta & not pizza but bread once a week. I found it makes a big difference if I do homemade pasta with foreign/Italian wheat not US wheat. Also gnocchi which I make from potato starch and wheat seems to spike my blood sugar much less then pasta. I eat my meat and veggies with my pasta too I don’t eat it afterwards. All these things help. We may not be in ketosis for a few days after we do this but rn I’m not willing to completely go off wheat. I’ve tried it and it didn’t work for me. I’m off all the things you listed too. Plus processed foods. Congratulations to you for going off all these things too! 🎉

Once I have my main meal, I do not even think about food and the most important, do not eat my emotions. Last summer I fasted 20 to 22 hours a day or did OMAD.
