Top 3 MOST CHARMING villages in the COTSWOLDS, England!

We're in the beautiful English countryside and today we visit the most charming 3 towns of The Cotswolds! After the cute, quaint village of Bibury, we head to the architecturally stunning Bourton-on-the-Water and take part in our very first DUCK race! After strolling along the tranquil River Windrush and admiring all the honey coloured houses and shops, we make our way over to the gorgeous town, Stow-on-the-Wold. We enjoy our first afternoon "cream tea" in England at the Davenford Cotwold Garden and head on over to check out the ancient medieval stocks, used to hold prisoners as a form of punishment if they broke the law.
We had all intentions of visiting the "prettiest town in England", the super popular Castle Combe, however we ran out of time so will include that in an upcoming video.

You should have dropped in to Lower Slaughter, which is just off the main road between Bourton and Stow a few minutes outside of Bourton via a road on the left.

Totally agree! It was "ok" - not a lot of flavour to be honest and not as creamy, definitely prefer a dairy ice cream 😋

Clotted cream this is no ordinary cream.. You do know about the argument about jam and clotted cream???

Funny you say this, our airbnb host gave us the back story of clotted cream and how its made (we dont have this is Australia so was quite different to what we are used to). The old jam vs cream on the scone and which goes first? We always would put jam on first, but as our trip progressed through the UK, definitely the clotted cream first (as its a butter consistency). What are your thoughts on this ongoing contentious topic?

@@KristyandSteve No comment because this gets a little feisty. I love Devon and Cornwall both and I am not going to piss off either of these two fantastic counties.. You can make clotted cream it's really easy and have it in Oz.. Ahh Marmite vs Vegemite that old conundrum.. Marmite is older and believe it or not your spread is now 100 years old ours is almost 400 years old and is from brewing.. I like both but have a preference for Marmite unless there's bovril on the plate which is a beef extract.. Great guys sub'd 🙂
