Dude your passion comes through in your videos. It feels genuine and real. I just got back into beat making after 21 year absence ( life, family, kids, and work). Your videos helped me understand MPC Beats and workflow. I had to buy your pack to show some love bro. Thank you for these videos and taking your time to teach us noobs lol. Much love from Texas Malo.

Oh man, you’re mentioning some good ones there. I really wanted to add the air Lofi since it really is one of my favorite ones also. I got a mess with that air stereo I have not tried it yet. Thank you for this input brother

Love the Tube Drive. A little goes a long way! Air Channel Strip is great. It adds some character and is basically a bunch of useful plugins that only takes up one slot. Stereo Tape delay is another fave of mine. Just a hint on some ghost snares can work magic 🔥

This is awesome, I keep hearing a lot of good stuff about that air channel plug-in. That’s something I want to dive into a bit more down the road. I really appreciate you taking the time and sharing this valuable information brother.

Shelf drops off hard to the left and right of the choosen frequency. Bell drops off gradually left and right allowing it to bring up near by frequencies.

Nice one..... Its taken me a while of going through the EQ offerings but I too now pretty much always reach for Air's para...... Something I could use some more help with is what plugin combos people use for creativity... I am of course experimenting but I havnt found my Go To FX/Racks quite yet!!
@MakingMadBeats2 жыл бұрын
I would have matched the loudness on the Air Drive with the output parameter. When you engage distortion and drive the drums will become louder, what tricks our ears and makes us think: "Louder is better" 😉

I like to use air lofi its give extra texture with old boombap character especially on horns or rhodes. But definitely gonna try those, thanks !

Air Lofi is such an awesome plug-in, I really wanted to squeeze that one in since it is another one that I use a lot. I’m looking forward for the new plug-ins that seems to be coming within the 2.11 update.

Yes they do, and you can save chains
@davidneau88302 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your video.It was interesting, I find your setting are very subtile, the difference are not so easy to hear. That makes my ear training. :^) I see you put drive on all drum track, but can you choose to put this on one pad only in your drum track ? Thanks again and take care.
@malobeats2 жыл бұрын
Hey David, I really appreciate you taking the time and watching a video and also sharing your feedback. Yes, I tend to use these plug-ins very subtle unless I really want to add texture and do some heavy lifting. I’m glad you asked this question and absolutely, You could add plug-ins on individual pads or choose to add it to the entire program. I would love to do a video on this topic very soon. Again I appreciate you taking the time in sharing this input
@davidneau88302 жыл бұрын
@@malobeats Thanks for your answer, I'll be happy to see this video about add plug-ins.
@PeteOnTheBeat2 жыл бұрын
Yo yo! Never used the Tube one. I just started but more and more I've been finding out I want all my samples as clean as I can get them ( might be stupid but it is what it is). Air Para should be me in my template, because of how much as I use it :D The compressor and the mastering stuff in the various bus's is something I wasn't getting right in the MPC. I've been dabbling with it in Ableton so hopefully I can "translate" what I've learned to the MPC! Gonna try it soon

I’m sort of new to this. Can I hook up a Roland SH01a synthesizer or a TR 8 drum machine or a microphone to this ? Great content! I am looking into getting one of these

So do you have all 3 sounds in the same program or are you bussing sounds to the effects?

The real questions being asked
@malobeats2 жыл бұрын
I’m adding some of these plug-ins on the individual programs so for example on my sample chops program I’ll add the EQ, compressor etc. then on my drums program I’ll add some more plug-ins if needed I hope this answers your question

@malobeats2 жыл бұрын
I’m so glad you mentioned that granulator, I’ve seen it ever since I updated my MPC but never paid too much attention to it until recently I started messing with it and it is extremely powerful. I notice they’re going to do a minor update to that plug-in on the 2.11 version

@Hitman-ev2uy2 жыл бұрын
you dont need to mix beat in mpc standalone , i swear i have major placement with raw mp3 file. air compressor on the master bus and air lofi (turn the clip button to 2 max) Chose the right sound and leveling is the Key low cut bass kik (20hertz) sample (100herz) air multi chorus on hi hat,open hat. keep in mind a good mix is like the musicien play in front of you. When you start to fix problem on your beat, its means your sound selection is trash at 99% of time. You can also clip. headroom for mastering is about dynamic range not about peaking "cliping" its a myth
