That first story kinda happened to me when I was locked up. Only it was the reverse. The courthouse made an error and thought I was already released so I was kept longer than I was supposed to. I had to get in contact with a close high school friend of mine that just happen to be one of the ladies in charge of the records department and she managed to get all my information sorted out. 😅

1 - The "psychotic" family (I don't know if I'm using the correct word, as a layman on the subject forgive me) suddenly in my opinion should be followed up by experts to prevent events like those from happening again. More or less, in that family they had the same phenomenon at the same time. In this case, psychiatric help should be mandatory, not optional. You never know that the next time something like this could happen, the consequences won't be more serious. 2 - Honestly, storm or no storm, I'm fine with my feet on the ground... I'm certainly one of those people who has no desire to fly... I'm not a bird.

I think the 9 months he got was fair tbh, being a changed man doesnt erase his crimes, but he certainly shouldnt have to go to prison for long after it took that long to even get to him

The point of jail is SUPPOSED to be to rehabilitate, which is fucked and does the opposite most of the time but that's a different subject. And he did, changed man with a family, no need for him to go to jail for something he did over a decade prior. A minor crime at that, now if it had been a rape or murder then that's different. Would be different had the courts hadn't fucked up in the first place. What sort of disciplinary action was taken towards them for their mistake? Nothing. That's more of a problem if u ask me.
