Great video. So so much to learn though. The language barrier is going to make it a interesting trip. At least for me most of the time I will be there will be with a tour group.

Cleary, and by far, the best video around key phrases in Japanese. I have probably watched more than 20 different ones, and most go over things that chances are I would never use. While some of these are a bit complicated/hard to remember for me, 90% of them are great, simple and love the practicality of them all as you go through an average day. Great job! Thanks! (or should I say Arigato gozaimasu) Btw, quick question about that... I have seen Arigato spelled like this and with an "ou" at the end... are they both correct?

I think both are ok because it’s romanisation which is spelt according to what people understand (in this case both)

Learn how to say sorry I don’t understand, I’m drowning myself in Japanese and writing down phrases I know I’m going to need most like ‘help I’m lost’, and left and right. Been watching Japanese movies but they are so beautifully emotive I wind up confusing family as I’m sniffling like a baby. So scared of panicking myself into silence. 😅
