Shirine Boukli was the best in my view, but lots of great techniques. Not many people can beat Bilodid. Great video, thanks.

My gosh Judo has changed over the last 45 years. One thing that hasn't is how much I hate makkikomis as a technique. But these videos bring back memories of my.youth.

good video and commentary. I like briceño's ippon because i want to see him in the olympics. but we cant argue that his ura nage was wonderful. Now, 1st place seoinage was neeeeat. but the 2dn place would be my favourite because of the sheer speed.

Can't argue Gjakova's ippon was fantastic, thanks for watchin!

I just loved the #5 Seoi Nage. I will learn it, to use it on tournaments, cause he did it really good.

The commentary certainly adds value, bro. Maybe you can add more detailed commentary on your future videos. And my favorite is #4. I've sparred with heavier guys, but I've never managed to beat them with nagewaza. So far, I only know how to beat them in newaza.

In my opinion, #2 is a Hiza Guruma because the foot is placed at the knee. Thanks for the video and keep on commenting !!!
@GrapplerKingdom3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you are probably right, but I think whole classification by foot placement is a bit of misconception as doesn't always go along with underlying mechanics of the throw. Anyway, thank you for watching and your input!

I think the second ranked ippon on your list is more a hiza-guruma then a sasae. Because of the feet's position (on the knee of his opponent) and the leg he tuched is behind the other. But what a throw!! And nice video btw ;)
@GrapplerKingdom3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's definitely a great one and I could see it being Hiza Guruma. Thanks for watching!

9:24 I actually think it was an old injury because you could have seen during the fight moments where he had some pain gripping. still a nice technique from the Swedish.

Making this one was kind of brutal process, by the end I was exhausted, so I've made some factual mistakes and written some names of juokas incorrectly in result section. Sorry for that, I'll do better next time. If you find more mistakes let me know and I'll update the list. Here is the list of corrections: - In 31 place it wasn't Din Yaacov Gemer's debute in IJF World Tour, it was his debut in Grand Slam events, he had few appearances in GP events before. - Mixed up place 6 with place 7. - Corrections on names in result section: -60 kg 3. Gusman Kyrgyzbayev (KAZ), -73 kg 1. Alexandru Raicu (ROU).
