So I modded my extreme tours with about four grams of lead and ten and two, with a leather grip to balance and keep it head light. Plays much better. Wouldn’t that put the et ahead in stability and returns?

Basically easier and faster. Feels better. Not plow thru like Vcore 98 and not blasting topspin like PA98.

Hey there, thank you for this comparison. As you plays with blade 98, what did you think of the vcore 98? Seems not much different. Same power, same manoeuvrability, same spin, same control... Which one is the easiest to play, the easiest on the arm? I was thinking of switching from blade 98 to vcore 98 but if they have the same spin, power, control and comfort, why would I... For me Blade 98 to Vcore 98 feels like 98 to 100. Vcore is way more forgiving and easier to play with. Better spin, power, but I think Blade wins on control so far. Comfort I think Vcore wins but not by far.

@@tantennis coming from a speed pro, I want to switch with a spin control racket, because my game is mostly spin oriented. Been considering this but just my worry is the lack of stability.

@@kevinchu3546 The VCORE line is the more stable racket i've tried so far. Much more than a Extreme tour or radical. But you get the muted feeling for sure, i personnaly dont mind.

I have the PA98 and played with it for a couple of months (USTA 4.0 singles). It felt just OK. The regular PA100 is *far* superior in the spin department. What I really dislike about the PA98 is it's lack of stability. It's all nice and fine to do some casual hitting but when you are trying to handle heavy balls and shots with a lot of pace, the racquet doesn't feel solid, and the control goes out the window. I tried adding some weight to the usual 3/9 and the handle, still doesn't quite feel it - unlike the Yonex Vcore95 or the Vcore100 (my usual racquet). Supposedly Alcaraz plays with this racquet in stock form, after trying for quite a while I totally do not believe it. It's way too light, and way too unstable for even me, I can't imagine it to work for any of the top pros. One racquet I really would like to try is the Percept 100D. It seems to check a lot of boxes for me at least...

You definitely should try the 100D if you don’t have any issues with 100 sqin. I now play with it very often. It’s an easy control racket with more forgiveness. Easy pop. Good for our level of play.

Thanks for the tips on the Extreme Tour. I was going to give up on the frame as I just cannot hit the ball through the court like a can with my old Pure Strike. I will try some weight. Fingers crossed it helps.
