What’s a ballpark figure of what you’ve spent so far? Looking back what would you have changed with this build or done differently? Also, if you were to do a different car to build what would it be??
@catzbunn5 жыл бұрын
More than what I bought the car for at 24k. I would have done all performance instead of looks first. At the moment, I’m not sure what I would have built. Id like to think an e92, nsx, or something solid right out of the lot
@liaviator53435 жыл бұрын
Cali WRX I know what you mean, I have an STi also and it would’ve been nice to have had a sturdier block.

Okay, this ones will completely change your perception on driving: *1.* 2015 WRX or STi *13:1 Steering rack* direct replacement, with all the black series bushings, *2. DCCD* software-hardware *update* from Mr. Skácel, which, BY THE WAY, used Ken Block, Travis Pastrana...and Colin McRae. 5 mods, starting with fast high speed road, to curvy technical snow/ice. The infamous understeer is almost a thing of a past. This guy from Czech Republic did about 50 jobs, mostly for rally drivers, but as he stated, he does not need young and inexprienced clientela..

I've been trying to figure it out but cannot seem to, and you've probably posted it, but can you provide any details about your shifter? You posted about the Cobb short shift kit and bushings, but I really like the length of the shift handle you have in this vid, plus the shift knob. Also, did you get a different shift boot so that more of the shift handle shows? I really like that look. Thanks, and keep up the great content!
@catzbunn5 жыл бұрын
Right now I’m using the sti short throw shifter. On that is a 3” extension paired with a downwindcustoms year drop shift knob. The shift knobs are no longer made.
@shadymonkichi5 жыл бұрын
Cali WRX Thanks! (I was wondering if you were using an extension.)

Getting my 07 Impreza wrx rebuilt rite now finally going stage 1 engine going to put my Cobb 3 port boost controller , my Cobb sf cold air intake (already on) , cat back and Cobb lowering springs should I get the Cobb down pipe also and keep going Cobb or what? Recommendations needed

All personal preference. Cobb does good work, but other companies do just as well

Have you ever thought about running adapters or spacers for wheels? Whats the cons?
@catzbunn5 жыл бұрын
Most 5x114 adapters are way too thick. 20mm or 15mm.
@WhiteWingSTI5 жыл бұрын
run longer wheels studs/adapters... you risk on mounting wheels on little treads with wheels spacers. con i could think of.

I have a 2014 WRX STI hatch I’m thinking of getting a Stage 2+ kit from Cobb Which includes the Cobb AP V3 CAI Downpipe and Exhaust Since u emphasized on sway bars and end links I might get those And of course APR head studs

Tyronne Esquillo get a protune. Don’t run the OTS map from the access port.
@realtyronne99165 жыл бұрын
I intend to do that What I meant to ask was, is the Cobb Stage 2+ a meaningful investment? V3 AP CAI Downpipe and Exhaust Pro tune after installed of course. She is my daily 😁
@catzbunn5 жыл бұрын
Tyronne Esquillo yea that will be a good setup. Make sure to do other upgrades as well to help with your new power. Stainless steel brake lines, new pads, EBCS, and so on. Talk to your tuner for majority of motor performance mods you may need.
