Hello Jas. I wear braids a lot and I leave them in 3months at a time, take them down, wash my hair and then I braid it back up. The braids help my hair grow so well but my hair is super dry and my ends are terrible even after trims. I know it’s because I don’t deep condition often. So now I’m on a challenge, no braids, deep conditioning and hot oil treatments with each wash. I’m just not sure if I should wash my hair weekly or biweekly yet I’ve always done biweekly but I may need to switch up. I’ve been using Design Essentials Rosemary Mint Conditioner mixed with Mielle’s Rosemary Biotin conditioner, I leave it in overnight. I love the way it makes my hair feel so far. Thank you for this video! I’m on a journey to get this hair of mine back healthy lol.

Love the hair, Jas. I use apogee and olaplex alternating when I lighten. I was using Maui Moisture coconut line because of the blonde, but I heard that ALLEGEDLY it causes hair loss/fall. I will join on the journey. 💪🏽

Are you still doing your weight loss journey? I can't retain length to save my life. I know my hair grows but just don't stick around which is why I can't grow these layers out that I've been having since I was 15 or 16. I am now 38...smh I also have eczema on my scalp and when it flare up I lose so much hair. 😫 I need to go on this hair journey with you.

@@JasColoredCurls I should be buut I'm not on a weight loss journey. I am just too picky with food and I don't like a lot of the healthier foods. I trim my hair quite frequently when my hair tangle or if it is more swe through than my other strands it's got to go.
