We moved to Mount Juliet 6 years ago and love it! Being the city between the lakes, we are close to water both north and south. We have a boat on Percy Priest Lake. It’s absolutely beautiful there.

Your videos are very informative. My great grandparents were farmers from Tennessee more than 100 years ago but moved to Oklahoma to farm.they always had great memories to share with me. My retirement is coming up in 2 years and I'm considering Tennessee

I am definitely planning retiring in Tennessee. Military family. I’m originally from Los Angeles and my wife is from Albany, NY. However we have family in hermitage and once we had a chance to visit them we knew Tennessee is where we want to be. Currently in Oklahoma.

A couple of good points you might consider. 1) Low taxes including NO state income, personal property or real estate taxes. 2) Free 2 year junior college education which credits may be transferred to a college of your choice including The University of Tennessee.

Another thing to consider is TORNADOES. TN has an average of 30 per year. That fact excludes TN as a destination for me.
@glennnorris4346 Жыл бұрын
@@mr.foxwiz1653 I don't know where that information came from. I have lived in Knoxville all my life (81 years) and have never seen or heard of one in our area. Now maybe West Tennessee, but not in East Tennessee. That sounds like incorrect information to me. In fact, here in East Tennessee we never get hurricanes either because the Smoky Mtns. protects us.
@mr.foxwiz1653 Жыл бұрын
@@glennnorris4346 I just looked that up and you are right. The East part of the State is pretty safe. Thanks for that.

I use to live in Franklin, TN. However 35% above the national average is not worth it at my age 55 :) Could you tell me what the percentage would be on Hendersonville or any of them that are below the national average. Thank you! Great video!!!

Lot's of good information! I'm from Illinois and am considering Eastern Tenn. or Western North Carolina (I like the mountains). I know that you deal mainly with middle Tennessee so any reason why middle Tennessee or just Tennessee as a state in general may be a better choice than N.C.?

Very nice. You'll enjoy it there! Also, it's a very easy drive to both Knoxville and Nashville. I just bought a 2008 Toyota Camry Solara Convertible in Crossville! It's amazing how similar people in Texas and Tennessee are. We are almost like brothers. It's too bad that a lot of people from California are settling there though.
