I'm brazilian and here's what I think. First of all, Pelé is the best football player ever and it is worthless trying to "debunk" a player who perfected the sport the way he did. He was a master in every single technique - he was better than average even in goalkeeping (of course, considering the non-goalkeeper players), hence the most complete player of all time. The only guy in the world who was PERHAPS better than Pelé is Di Stefano, but it is open to debate and consensus shows Pelé as the greatest ever (let's discuss Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and others when they retire. By the way, Maradona was a superb player, but maybe not better than Beckenbauer, Zidane, Ronaldo, Cruyff). Like Michael Jordan in basketball, Michael Phelps in swimming or Roger Federer in tennis, Pelé is the standard for perfection in his game AND IN HIS ERA. That being said, as a brazilian and football fan, I humbly present my list: 1 Pelé 2 Garrincha 3 Ronaldo 4 Zico 5 Romário Then: 6 Ademir da Guia 7 Nilton Santos 8 Ronaldinho 9 Cafu 10 Didi (arguably Neymar, let's see what he does til the end of his career)

All of them have made great contribution for football. My conclusion is: Top 5 for Brazil players is almost impossible to do. A lot of people will not agree because there are a lot of options, and everyone will have their favorites. Not even Pelé (the greatest ever) is unanimity. About Neymar: can be a shocker, but he is only beggining, so he can't be on the list of legends, has a lot to do yet, but I think he will be.
