Perfect choices! I was working for Chanel when Coco Mademoiselle launched. I was blown away when it came out. I've always been a No 5 girl, but I do love the dry down of Coco Mademoiselle. Thank you for always making your fragrance reviews so in depth and so descriptive. You can tell you are a true Chanel fragrance lover, and you appreciate the fragrances like they are works of art. I smelled Jersey years ago and love it! I should have bought it then when it was cheaper!! 😀

After a week’s vacation, I am going back to work today. I am going to do Chanel No. 5 EDT with a tiny amount of Chanel No. 5 parfum. Something I have done in the past, but this video reminded me that it s just what I need today. Just what I need to sustain me as I sit up straighter and walk a little taller through my work day yet feel light and capable instead of heavy and burdened. Tomorrow, I will wear Chance eau Tendre. I bought it for myself for Mother’s Day. I’m not a mother in the technical sense, but I am honoring my maternal side and felt deserving of a treat. I think it really is a perfume for my inner child, but that is another story. I don’t know yet. I am just getting to know Chance eau Tendre. Love your channel more than any other. I finally smelled Comete and I agree its a beautiful fragrance. It reminded me of a very elegant Paris-Venise but the dry down on my skin smelled like a subtle sandalwood mixed with musks. Then it went back to the orris until the next day. Always close to the skin. It felt like either Polge is saying goodbye or he has way more secret potions under his sleeve.

Hi Djacob. Cristalle has always been my signature fragrance until it was taken off the market. My daughter very kindly bought me a bottle for Christmas, as she always associated the scent with me. It was interesting that the Chanel counters in our main Department Stores here in Dublin had very little stock before Christmas. It was like Chanel were controlling the relaunch stock. I watched your review of the relaunched Cristalle which was very interesting. It is very rare to get such an in depth review of perfumes. I am inclined to agree with you that it has been reformulated. It's very subtle but there is something different about It. I only spray perfume on my clothes so it's not a change in my skin chemistry. Keep making the videos, I love watching them.

Comète is a wonderful perfume. It smells fantastic worn alone but is also good to combine (or layer) with other perfumes. I combined it with L’ Heure Bleue yesterday and the result was great. Today I paired it with Angelique Noire and this worked also very well for me. I can imagine a lot of other intriguing combinations.

I’m very much looking forward to trying the new Cristalle EDP. I have a few older bottles that are almost done .. it’s like a mood as to which cristalle I go to. I sometimes layer them with Gardena perfume on my pulse points so it’ll be interesting to see how it works. I wear all of the Chanel fragrances though was late to wearing Cristalle as it was my sisters signature scent for decades. Now that she’s moved on I’m able to wear it, but I always layer it. Cristalle, especially the edp concentration actually does take quite a bit of time to learn to love. When confronted with all the Chanel perfumes out there, Cristalle edp is one of the most austere and unapproachable in a way. Its nature is very cocooned within itself in a crystal-like aura. For us to penetrate that aura and understand what is at the core of this fragrance, takes quite a bit of time as also all the other Chanel perfumes do shout louder than Cristalle edp and they do attract our attention sooner perhaps. But once I finally understood Cristalle edp… I was hooked for life! 🤍🤍🤍

Great review Dacob! For me there's no wow factor in comete it doesnt give me the feels no association or whatever its simply like a shadow and discreetly exit onto another dimension which i will never miss. It doesnt punch like other les exclusives nor bring a new joy or left a memory...its forgettable...it doesnt linger...it simply vanishes. Edit: i'll throw a shade....it simply vanishes like a nepo baby olivier is 😂

Dacob I have the No 19 in this exact refil. But consider a "heavy " fragrance and can use only in winter or colder times. I love and my favorite is the Eau de Tendre. I never tried No 5😅

It all depends from which year your No19 is from and which concentration it is. In the past, No19 was a heavy dark green chypre. Today its very light and breezy. Reformulated many times over throughout the decades.

Try wearing your No19 lower on your body. Around your waist, on your lower back, under your buttocks, behind your knees. Let the sillage envelope you from below as you move rather than having it in your face. This works for most fragrances

I just bought a bottle of Comête yesterday. This fragrance grew on me... I had a couple of samples first and it really developed from an initial 'meh' to more and more of a 'wow'. I would very much like to hear your in-depth review of it but I can't find it here? There is only the original unboxing review as far as I can see. Am I looking in the wrong place? The only 50ml EDT I could find on the US site is of the COCO Mademoiselle but I do see the No 5 50ml EDT on the EU website.

50ml No5 edt is available on the CC US website but not as a refill. Its available in the regular glass bottle with magnetic stopper lid. 😉

LV don’t do eau de toilette concentrations. They do edp and extrait. I am not a fan of their perfumes though personally.

Hi, I'm trying as much as I can not to say comète as the French person that I am, but comete, the way you'd like us to say, but, I unfortunately don't sound as good as you do!!!😂 Chanel 5 in EDT has always been my absolute favourite, and so is jersey that I had in EDT as well, such a masterpiece... I personally realised that Coco Mademoiselle became a classic when my mum gave up on Coco 10 years ago to switch on Mademoiselle... Love💙🤍❤️
