Surprised I didn't see my personal favorite, but then again, I understand audio-reactive wallpapers aren't your thing, but Sound Splitter by Squee is phenomenal. Super customizable. You can add/adjust a background image. There's a dozen blend modes to incorporate the wallpaper to your liking, and every aspect of the audio responsiveness is adjustable as well.
