At least I didn't walken away ;) Thanks, Casey! I had a lot of fun with this one!

I agree; I always work with layers. It was really confusing to work with nodes, but if you learn about nodes more, it seems like it makes more sense than using layers for VFX, especially in Fusion.

I have an other question! When do I need an other or a second timeline ?
@karsten248 күн бұрын
Hi Casey - I actually have a problem with audio. In a sub timeline I have an audio clip which is way too loud. I use a limiter on the clip to bring it down. Then putting this timeline into another master timeline. And I am faced, that the limiter seems to be ignored in the master timeline. What am I doing wrong? Thanks and best, Karsten

Hey Casey, I've completed one of your free courses and really enjoyed the way you teach! I'm trying to transition from CapCut to Resolve and would like to create motion graphics and VFX for KZbin videos. Would you suggest your Fusion Zero to Hero course or the Motion Graphics one? (basically, is there any overlap?)
@CaseyFaris7 күн бұрын
All of our courses go together really well. There are some overlapping concepts, but all the lessons are unique. 100 Nodes: Learn the basics of the Top 100 nodes in Fusion. A reference guide so you can search and look up just about any node you will most likely need and Casey will explain it to you. Pro Motion GFX: Advanced techniques for creating motion graphics, including text animations, cartoon/2d, 3D animations, movie titles, particle simulations. Great for making infographics, animations and titles. Pro VFX: Advanced techniques for visual effects (Adding elements and changing shots to look realistic) Includes working with green screen, adding realistic elements to shots. Perfect if you want to make movie magic! Fusion: Zero to Hero: Detailed look at the BIG CONCEPTS of Fusion. Training yourself to think about nodes and compositing INTUITIVELY. This is the key to getting really comfortable with Fusion as a whole. Long story short, get Pro MGFX if you want to make titles, Pro VFX if you want to make realistic effects, and FZH if you want to DEEPLY understand Fusion with a good dive into both of them. Get the 100 Nodes guide for reference.
