Do you fish frogs in the early fall? I was out today throwing a booyah pad crasher popping frog and got two big blow ups but couldn't set either of them. Not bad for my first frogging experience, but I want to land some good looking fish! By the way, your videos are the best and they're the first ones I watch when I'm trying to learn something new!

I skunked today @ 3 seperate ponds.. 50 degree temps all week and today it shot to 60..threw everything from the whopper plopper to jigs to senkos to squarebills wtf?! Love your blog. One thing that would help me is if you would add water temp. to your articles. Here in OR. where I live the water seldom gets over 70 degrees so my idea of warm water is much different than water in the south. Thanks Mike

you should go to milford lake Kansas. Huge rocky dam. Lots of rocky edges and in the fall it looks like the water is boiling with all the bass and shad jumping wipers too

Halleck pond is a hard pond to fish. It is very pressured. But when you get a bite its a huge fish! I've pulled a 3 pounder from there. You should fish with us local subscribers, Shadow lake in the fall is on fire! It would be a lot of fun.

I have been fishing my whole life, and I have been beat throwing a arig by other anglers throwing a arig. Its not just the bait that catches the fish. Its a cumulation of knowledge and understanding of fish and where and why they live there in correlation with bait choice that catches fish. So to say a bait is for a noob with no skill is a ignorant statement. You can't just throw a arig out there and fish come from across the lake to eat it. There is A LOT more to it than that.
