@ClefairyRox3 жыл бұрын
@@BJGvideos Yeah, it's the Pokemon Emerald Frontier Brain theme I thought he was going in that direction because the Battle Frontier is absolute ass, but in hindsight, I think GETTING to the Frontier Brains is harder than the actual fights, considering the number of consecutive victories you need to do The only one I ever got to was Lucy, and even then, it was only her Silver Symbol (all the facilities have two Frontier Brain fights, one at Silver and one at Gold, with the Gold one always requiring a win streak of 40+ matches, depending on the facility). The Pyramid and Palace are especially mean. The former has you traverse 70 floors of dark dungeons with random encounters (70 is required for the Gold Symbol at least), trainers, and no healing except between every 7 floors and whatever items you find; the latter gives you no direct control over your Pokemon's moves so you have to train Pokemon specifically for the facility.

As far as From Software bosses go I gotta give it to Isshin in Sekiro. With Dark Souls or Bloodborne you always have the option to grind a bit just for the tiny bit more health or attack that maybe lets you win. In Sekiro you have to make due with what you have. Isshin took me 4 hours on my first playthrough. Gotta give an honorable mention to the Shambler in Darkest Dungeon. Once you know the fight and are prepared its not that bad. Concerning Bloodborne, I implore anyone who believes Orphan of Kos is the hardest fight in the game to venture a few NG+ levels up, and then check out the difficulty spike that Laurence gets. By about NG+2, Laurence becomes definitively harder than Orphan, as his damage values grow completely ridiculous (several attacks become one-shots even if you dodge the main bulk but get hit by the flame AoE), and his defenses get ramped up to an insane degree, where even the strongest and best-built weapons serm like they’re only dealing chip damage. At least Orphan can be parried, and Blood Rapture/Oedon Writhe (+Health/Bullets on a visceral) have their effects quadrupled against Orphan.

For me it's gotta be Feral Chaos on Dissidia 012, for the PSP. The main plot story takes you around to level 50, and if keep at it you sooner or latter stumble upon the post-game story which goes way deeper into the plot and the constant cycles that are happening. It takes you HOUR and HOURS to get through it, it's fucking LONG, and goes from level 50 to 100, and enemies go beyond level 100 at a certain point just to increase the difficulty even higher. Then you face Feral Chaos, he's at lvl 95 but despite that his stats are absurd, he kicks your fucking ass to a wall and he's just a prelude, because if you defeat it he pulls a fucking Ghost n' Goblins on your ass and turns out to just be an illusion of the real one. Reach the true end of the campaign and you'll face the ACTUAL Feral Chaos, who's lvl 130, has even higher stats, and despite being a 1vs1 type fighting game, you'll have around 10k HP and he'll have around 130k, deal a stupid amount of damage and you're given a party of five (basically five lifes) because of how little you're expected to last. Motherfucker took me a week to beat, and then a month to defeat with just one life using Gilgamesh. Fucking adrenaline rush all the way with the kickass soundtrack. Agreed. Sephiroth in KH1 is definitely the hardest boss in that game, but Lingering Will and Yozora are miles harder. Remember when people online said KH2 Sephiroth was hard? You really only need Second Chance and Once More, (which requires a lot of grinding if you chose sword in the beginning like most people) spam reaction commands, and learn how to guard to win. It's one of the few fights in the game and the only fight in base KH2 where you can't win by spamming x and healing when nessessary.

To this day, the hardest boss I've ever faced is Bernard from Furi. Ten phases, a completely unique moveset for each phase, and losing all of your continues means doing everything all over again. Your average attempt against him is gonna be roughly ten minutes, and his final barrage attack alone is about two minutes long (which doesn't sound that long, but believe me its the most stressful two minutes of your life). It took THIRTEEN HOURS of attempts on my part over the span of like eight days to finally beat him ONCE. That being said, he's actually a very well designed boss. For as difficult as he is, he isn't cheap or unfair. He's very much a test of endurance and skill, which I can appreciate.

Personally the hardest boss I’ve ever fought is fatalis in monster hunter ice borne, you need to play perfectly and have a deep understanding of your weapons move set and fatalis’s move set because almost everything will one shot you, not only that but you also only have 30 min to kill it and he has a lot of health so you need to be doing constant damage, and timing out of the fight is very defeating because that means you spent 30 min of your life only to fail, but the fight is awesome and the feeling you get from finally toppling this creature that has so much significance in the whole series is unlike any other

Its interesting looking back at Skolas in Destiny 1 especially after boss fights get increasingly complex as players get more and more powerful over time, as a pure combat arena when it first came out it was undeniably one of the hardest fights in the entire series and the only thing that's really come close since then was fighting against Riven in 2018 when the Last Wish raid first released. The main difference between a fight like Skolas and Riven is how little we had to work with, unless you burned him in the first week with Gjallarhorn and Black Hammer or Fourth Horseman on the 2nd week with Arc Burn there wasn't much you could do to make the fight easier. In Destiny 2 there's so much more available for players to work around tough encounters especially right now that I can go into new raids on day 1 with your level forcibly lowered to make it harder and still have the confidence to make it through most of it with patience in 15 hours or so. It's a little funny looking back at it and knowing the most broken thing in Destiny was a tracking rocket launcher and an ability to revive yourself if you died when we can shoot lasers and rip through enemies with chainsaw swords now.

Though if I'm being perfectly blunt I consider Val Ca'our from the Spire of Stars raid to be the hardest boss in Destiny bar none, the level of combat efficiency and coordination to complete Spire of Stars is something a lot of groups plainly didn't have and its one of the reasons it's the least completed raid in Destiny.

There's 1 boss that is a giant frog/toad, it can paralyse you so you can't move/do anything for a few turns, issue is, this hits your full party, and he can endlessly spam it. My first time fighting this boss was me being locked in a constant state of paralysis and just waiting for it to kill me as there was literally nothing i could do. You eventually go to a location where you lose all your abilities and the "final boss of the game" is there, at the cost of resources and your sanity you can defeat "optional" bosses to get your special abilities back. Well i was fighting one boss, and any time it nearly died it used a full heal, i then ran out of resources, died, and had to buy more. I think on the second run the boss ended up take me 1.5 - 2 hours? Any time this boss got any sort of damage it full healed, no matter how little or how much damage it took, sometimes I'd geat it near death, it full healed, I'd restart the process again, and it had no limit on how much or how often it can spam the full heal. I have never scream, swore, or got so angry at a boss before. There is optional stuff and even harder content, but the game destroyed me at the end so i didn't even bother. Great game, deceivingly difficult.

Idk if you’ve done it yet, but how about this? “Top 10 terrible video games where the music was the only saving grace.” You’d be surprised by how the quality of the music in some games just dwarfs the quality of almost everything else.

There's an even stronger boss in FFXI, called Absolute Virtue. It could use every job's 2 hour cooldown ability, and it's yet to be defeated at its current state (the boss was buffed so previous exploits to defeat it don't work)

Literally no one beat it legit. He's counting only the bosses he's beaten
@kurosakikun963 жыл бұрын
@@vittoriopugliese3352 pretty sure this is no longer true, the wiki page for it claims it can be taken down now, and relatively quickly, as it despawns after two hours even if it isn't, still presents a challenge but the gear it drops is supposed to be a lot more common these days

FF11 is admittedly a blind spot for me with Final Fantasy as a whole, I'm just not really a fan of MMOs. As such, I had never heard of the Pandemonium Warden until now. That just sounds genuinely miserable to try and beat.
@DreadnoughtDT3 жыл бұрын
It's not even the hardest boss in FF11. That would go to Absolute Virtue.
@kurosakikun963 жыл бұрын
@@DreadnoughtDT is it still? I never played 11 either but I've heard it got nerfed to the ground at one point
@DreadnoughtDT3 жыл бұрын
@@kurosakikun96 It was one of only two bosses that were nerfed, those being Pandemonium Warden, and Absolute Virtue. Pandemonium Warden was the first part of the raid, and he was nowhere near as difficult in his final incarnation as he was on this list. Absolute Virtue, despite being nerfed, is still the hardest fight in the game. People fought it for 24 hours straight and then it used Benediction (fully heal itself) right at the end and caused people to ragequit the game. And when people beat it using a cheese strat, Square Enix hunted down everyone who had a Ribbon in their inventory (the equipment you get for beating it) and banned them because only people who cheesed it in the first place could have Ribbons. So yeah Absolute Virtue is and always will be the pinnacle of fuckery in FFXI.

The hardest boss I had to deal with as of late would honestly be Raspberry Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom. 3 million health (which is 50% more health than the ACTUAL world boss for no good reason), has a drill attack that does so much damage, and is just really strong for that point in the game. Seriously, I had a maxed out team of generally really good team members (not meta-tier good, but after losing that fight the first time around, I had to start looking into recommended teams just for that boss fight) and I was walled for DAYS. It took building a new team and upgrading overall attack to even survive it once.

probably kinda lame in the context of the video, but i feel like ultra necrozma from ultra sun/moon deserves a comment. it, at least back in the day, was considered to be one of the single most difficult fights in pokemon. mostly because this is ONE SINGLE POKEMON who has the difficulty of an entire team. the champion battle against hau is nowhere near as brutal as this one is, and he has a full team of six. people frequently turn to cheese to take it down because it's so ruthlessly effective at wrecking your whole team. this thing is a GOD, and it's not going to let you forget it. and yet, it's by far my favorite fight from my favorite game.

Kh1 Sephiroth fight is challenging and memorable, but it's far faaar from being the most difficult boss in the series. Kh2 Sephiroth might have been nerfed down, but how quickly we forget Lingering Will, a boss that to this day I can't beat without cheesing. Kh3 Remind DLC had 14 new boss fights with all organization XIII members + Ansem, considering how easy KH3 is, these new bosses really upped the challenge for the game, each boss took me a few hours to days to get through. And then they throw you a final DLC boss where it is optional to beat, due to how insanely difficult he is. KH1 had it's fair share of hard bosses, but the sequels blow that one way out of the water.
@Taser90013 жыл бұрын
Sorry RL, I am going to have to fight you on the Emerald Weapon being difficult. It's super easy to cheese that fight. 2 materia on each character (maxed HP Up + W-Item, maxed HP Up + Underwater, and on Cloud, maxed HP Up + maxed Double Cut). Keep using Hero Drinks on Cloud and megalixirs via W-Item, keep up with extra drinks and healing with the spare character, and just attack with Cloud. Provided everyone is on 9999 when Aire Tam Storm hits, you'll get Lucky 7's status and destroy the fight. If you want a truly difficult FF boss, one that is incredibly difficult, even when fully optimised, I present to you Proto-Babil from FF4 3D. Also, KH1 Sephiroth can be cheesed with a lot of MP, Strike Raid, and a bunch if elixirs. On a level 1 run, yeah, you're right. He's an absolute tosser.
@Rhy2412TitanGamer3 жыл бұрын
To add on to the Sephiroth bit in KH1, you can reduce the amount of damage his sword does with ribbons because he does darkness based damage & ribbons cut said damage.
@acuerden3 жыл бұрын
That attack of Emerrald Weapon is to your advantage. Equip exactly two materia to, say, Cid. dropping HP to exactly 7777 triggers the lucky sevens attack...

It wasn't hard as much as it took long but Yiazmat from FF12 is up there for me. Took 4 hours give or take, that alone was a pain in the ass the constant switching of characters and equipment and whatnot. Also most SNK bosses and the original Akuma from SSF2T on that old arcades screwed up difficulty.

Yeizmat only took me 45 minutes in the Zodiac Age with max speed turned up. It's not a hard fight, just a long one. Zodiark is objectively a way harder boss despite having some of the lowest HP for a superboss in the series.

video's not bad, but i can't help but be bothered by my own opinions, which are that including Super Bosses and DLC feels like cheating for something like this because if a player is going after this type of side content, or purchasing DLC, they're probably not only invested enough to "git gud", but also definitely expect a fight like this to be Horrifically Powerful, and take several attempts (or miraculously, just one sometimes) maybe i'm getting picky or being a purist, but it just feels wrong to include extra fights that are expected to be very difficult, and enough of a reward to just win, as opposed to difficulty spike bosses and such but that's all just me, and i still enjoyed this, just because it's my daily dose of RabbidLuigi lol god, i still remember when the intro was Solaris Phase 2 with footage of Destroyman's dick laser... time flies, huh

The first three spots all felt like rather bland choices. Emerald Weapon isn't even the hardest superboss in its own series, and you could easily cheese it by just using Nights of the Round. While I haven't played the Dark Souls and Kingdom Hearts entries, they still feel like rather cliched choices. I'm pretty sure you can find some crazy Shmup out there that's significantly more unfair with how difficult they can get. The same thing with fighting games. Hell there has to be a ton of JRPG bosses harder than Emerald Weapon and Sephiroth (anything from SMT for instance). Number's 2 and 1 were definitely the kind of shit i was hoping for. Bosses that were at absolutely absurd difficulty levels way beyond your typical bonus boss.
