Cannot disagree with you here. For all the same reasons. 3.) Ruger 10/22. Enough said nothing else needs to be. 4.) Mosin Nagant 91/30. Sure you may have a sore shoulder at the end of the day, but damn the 91/30 can do everything decently. And if worse comes to worse you can use it as a massive club. 5.) M1 Garand. Who the heck can pass this one up for fun. Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, PING.

I always feel envy when you Americans talk about your guns! It's the one thing (ok: One of the few things!) I hate about Germany: The fear and hatred for guns (Damned: Guns aren't bad, people are and it's not like I can't run people over in my car and kill way more than I could with a gun...just look for something like a yard-sale and drive right through and you have most likely killed way more people than you could have running around with a semi-automatic rifle, even if it's an evil "assault-weapon"...hell, something like an M1 Garand is just as deadly as a freaking AR :( -.-) ps: Yes, you can - in theory - own guns in Germany, but you have to jump through a loot of legal hoops and it's expensive (because you need special gun and ammo lockers that aren't all that cheap!), not to mention that concealed/open carry is not a thing (unless you are a guard, body-guard, policeman or soldier!) and you can only transport your guns to and from the gun-store/gunsmith and to and from the range...in theory you are in big trouble if you decide that on the way home from a day of shooting that you want to stop to buy groceries, even more so if somebody steals your weapons while you are shopping (you'll get punished, you will probably lose your license for gun-owning and you will also have lost the money your guns/license etc. cost!)

It is a standard firearm, but it ultimately isn't "modern". It's a firearm that's been modernized many times over. However, it is not the next step in firearms development. Erick Herrera that’s a pretty open ended question. Depends highly on how original lt ls and lts condition. The lowest ones will be “Russian captures”. Russians took them after the war, penciled ln numbers, finished I️t up to look nicely, and are always not matching. They’re about $600 or so. For about $1000-$1500 ls the price range of high quality original condition mausers. l would look on “Armslist” and try to find good deals who are willing to ship. lts basically a Craigslist for guns.

I've wanted one since I lost my highly detailed, all-metal black cap pistol version in the 70s, but never seriously pursued one due to cost. BUT THEN- less than 2 weeks ago, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a numbers matching 1916 with original wooden mag release, 90% blueing in the "Used Guns" at Gander Mountain!? I hesitated a moment, because it looked too clean, I assumed it was a .22 replica or similar because it was too clean. Fast forward, I pounced on it after further inspection proved it was indeed an original. It had just come in that day, and they said after I bought it they had 25+calls about it. The whole time I was looking at it, several vultures were circling, praying for me to say 'nah'. But she's mine, and in excellent shape. In fact, after a quick field strip and reassembly (NO cleaning or lube, as it still felt slick) I took her straight to the range, and proceeded to drill 2-3 mags inside the middle 3 & bullseye. They're LOUD, and kick- but just super awesome!

What about a Sharps? I admit you can blame the Tom Selleck western (Quigley down under) but it looks like a fun rifle to shoot and seems simple to operate. Open the breech, slide the cartridge in, close it. Aim, pull the primary trigger then pull the secondary trigger. (Yes, Sharps rifles have two triggers!). Oddly when the movie came out, gun magazines laughed and said there was no way he could hit targets that far away. Sharps owners now hold a shootout in Forsyth, Montana every year called of course, the Quigley Shoot. And they hit cans at the same distances seen in the movie: 500-800 yards. Yes, 800 yards.

As someone who shot a full-auto MP5K (legal, of course. DUUHHH) as the first gun I've shot in my life, I can confirm it is one of the most fun guns you will ever shoot.

I just built a AR-15 in a 6.5 Grendel. It has quickly become my favorite to shoot. My first favorite was a K98 Mauser. Then I fell in love with a break action 7mm-08 because of its ridiculous accuracy. Then I fell in love with the German G3 7.62x51. It shot smooth as silk while being accurate, and had low recoil. Then I built the my first AR in a .308. It was nice but the ammo can get expensive. Where I live 6.5 ammo is $9 for a box of 20. It shoots accurately and has similar bullet drop to a. 308 while having the same recoil as a .22. And that's why it is my favorite.

1.) The Winchester Model 1894 30-30. You can't go wrong with a good lever action. 2.)My Smith & Wessons MP-15 Sport II. It's an AR, enough said. 3.) Mauser 98k. It is just a great bolt action rifle. Truly perfection.

Honestly out of everything I own, my goto gun has always been my heavy barreled m4 carbine. I never fell for the tacticool craze, I only have a Blackhawk stock, Magpul front end and foregrip, GI trigger, and a nice match grade rear iron sight. I love it because it is very simple, very accurate, and just gets me all warm and fuzzy inside.

1. AR 15, I still remember my first time firing an M16A2 in basic. We were at the tail end of the AWB so most of us that had shot rifles before had never fired an AR style rifle. I just remember thinking "this is how a rifle is supposed to shoot," it was light, fast, accurate and just plain fun! 2. Smith and Wesson Model 19, there's just something about shooting .357 magnum 3. CZ 455 (.17 HMR) superb quality, and great accuracy out of the box. 4. Sporting shotguns, mine is an A5 light twelve, clays, doves you said it. 5. Savage Rascal, watching my son shoot is even more fun than shooting myself.

I recently got a 124-year-old M1893 7×57 Spanish Mauser made by Ludwig Loewe back in the pre-DWM days, it's pretty nice for if you wanna dislocate your shoulder and go deaf. My brother has a 8×57 K98a and it was interesting to see the two Mausers side by side. The issue with mine is that the sliding part of the rear sight is broken(it doesn't "lock" into place, meaning I can't use it to aim for longer ranges than the normal sighting) and it's missing the screw that keeps that sliding part on. Other than that it's fully functional and in wonderful condition for it's age.

I have an 1863 Savage musket that is a family heirloom and one of my all time favorite guns to shoot. My SU-16c is probably the most fun gun I own and the one every one of my friends asks me to let them shoot. I love my 380 MKII Sterling, which I know is crap but I love it all the same and it's very accurate (although it has a jamming issue). My model 336 is not only fun but my favorite gun of all time, impractical but just so wild west bad-ass and EASY to shoot. Great vid.

My favorite gun to shoot is a Savage Model 99 EG in 250-3000 (250 Savage). It has a Stith scope mount, which did not require drilling any holes in the gun, and a 4x Leupold scope. It has little recoil, and using hand-loaded cartridges with 87-grain Nosler Ballistic Tips, I have never had to shoot a deer more than one time with it.

1: it the rifle I learned to shoot on. It is a century old slamfire 22 lr rifle made by a small canton Ohio gunsmith that as far a I know, only made a handful of them. Everyone who I have let shoot it enjoy themselves. One guy offered me nearly a grand for it but I think I would be disowned if I took him up on it. 2: My Remington 264 magnum, while the round itself is rare around me, it is worth the scavenger hunt at times. It has little recoil, shoots well and I think I have only had one misfire. Also you can put a 8mm Mauser barrel on the gun too and as regulars of this channel note, that ain't no slouch. 3: My most recent purchase, a Kel Tec sub 2000 gen 2. It is a wonderfully versitile carbine that does everything a good truck gun should do. It's reliable, accurate, the folding action let's me fit it in a shoulder bag and it accepts 30 Glock Happy Sticks. If anyone does buy one, get a 45 degree mount and a dot optic because the iron sights leave you putting your cheek on the buffer tube. 4 Yes a handgun made my list too, my Steyr M9A1 saved me from having to use a Glock 19 which feels like a brick in my hands (don't eat me alive fanboys, preference is what makes the world go round). The sights are fantastic, the grip fits me like a glove and it can reliably drill rounds through the same hole in paper at 10 yards. 5 Lastly but certainly not least is another family piece that is also a bolt action. A Lee Enfield Jungle Carbine in 303 British. It was my grandfather's first purchase and has put it in his will that this never be sold. It is just a great gun to have and to shoot and if anyone ever seen one in your local store, just buy it, you won't be sorry.

by far my favorite rifle to shoot is my martini henry. it's just so satisfying going through the restoration process, creation of ammunition and tweaking here and there to get the results I want. and the big boom at the range turns heads and is in itself an experience.

1) G3 2) MP5 3) AK47 4) Sako 7mm magnum 5) G36C I have semi auto AK and HK91 because I love them, the Sako was my grandfathers and it's just awesome for long range shooting and hunting just about anything. I got the chance to shoot automatic G36C's and MP5's with the Spanish GEO while I was in Spain with the USMC and they are just awesome to shoot, had a lot of fun.

The more you have to pace yourself, the funner it is to shoot. It's more satisfying hitting a target when you know you have fewer rounds to do it with.

My favorites are all surplus military rifles. My 1886 Lebel, K98 Mauser, 03 Springfield, 1896 Swedish Mauser, M39 Mosin Nagant, and of course my US rifle 30 caliber M1.

honestly, i think the American 180 is the most fun to shoot. The drums are a pain in the ass to load, but it's worth it. The firerate is high enough to make up for the rather anemic 22. rimfire, but it still doesn't rise much while shooting. Although not many people can get their hands on one due to only about 1000 ever being made.

My top 5 would have to be 5. M1 Grand, just have to love that smooth bolt in 30 calories action. 4. AK-47 just an enjoyable weapon to operate that is almost as intuitive as swimming to the surface after being thrown into a pool. 3. HK MP5 like mentioned very controllable & smoot to shoot. 2. CZ Scorpion EVO light felt recoiled & can hit 100yrd targets all day with a smile. 1. Remington 870 pumpaction. Massively versatile & an over all joy to fire.
