Love this so much. Another idea that would be cool to see is your top Airbnb's in Haiti. I've seen one in Fort Liberte that looks amazing, but I'm sure there are others as well

All the homes are very beautiful. But I wonder why none of these investors don’t look into help rebuilding and actually helping the locals… maybe build nice apartments so that the people there can have a nice safe home to live in. Of course I know there are people in Haiti that live in nice homes…. But I’m talking about the people that don’t have nice safe homes that are up to code. Hell even here in the states they have “projects” for low income families… I know they say the government sucks in Haiti , the people lack education blah blah…but if the investors are about making their money back, I believe they would make the money back by charging rent or something? Haitians pour so much money into leaving the country and building other counties economies… I don’t know great video as always though.

I wonder what happened to all the beachfront properties they have in Haiti, why they are not built around them but instead on the top of mountains?
@kathelineblain7224

Blacks in general from other countries will not build by the water because of hurricanes and tsunami. I personally would rather have my house high on top of a mountain over looking the ocean far away. With global warming, no one is safe for too long being near water.

@@kathelineblain7224 That is one of the worst mistakes Haitian do when it comes to property values! Remember, you an Island with beautiful green blue waters, why don't use it to attract tourists and raise your economy, and property values? Like Jamaica, Porto-Rica, Bahamas, Nassau, and Dominica Republic! Common, people, wake up, and learn how market yourselves, and create wealth! All the beautiful waterfront properties inhabitable to strangers who don't have the best interest in mind for Haiti, while the local Haitians are climbing the mountains! Look, tourists don't go to the forest to relax, they all aways go where the waters are! Please, keep that in mind!

@@peterpoint-dujour3299 because all those islands are done by outside investors while locals are still not paid much/ pushed out.

Honestly I'm happy our beaches and waters aren't being used up for construction. Haiti as very few (as in only one) national park or preserve. With our country having some of the richest natural resources we need to do better in preserving our most prized possession which is our land. Yes, it would be great money to have homes built by the ocean, but mainly foreigners would eat up those spots leaving nothing to our people. It think it's better to preserve our ocean so everyone can enjoy it and it's better on our ecological environment

@@peterpoint-dujour3299 most beaches and countries around the world are taught to have beach front property that cater to tourists. The tourists tend to be mostly white and the properties owned by whites. Let's at least lease the lands to retain sovereignty and stop selling it. Second... not every tourist or person loves the beach. There are hiking trails and other activities to showcase in Haiti. I am currently living less than 3 minutes from the beach... for almost 3 months... I'm not a fan, but that's me. I love the mountains and plan on building there. There can be mountain resorts etc. as well. Those countries mentioned are like any other countries I've traveled too, economies built on serving and servitude. Good for jobs and some economies but highly dependent on market conditions. We also need self-sustaining conditions not reliant on outside sources. They go everywhere, not just where the water is. Marketing is key.

You must be stupid or new here. Water is not readily available it is a privilege. Most people have to use wells or travel miles for pure water.

not sure what you mean by this, please elaborate. These are but examples of properties in various locales, that doesn't mean a lack of appreciation inferred from one video source? Really?
