I feel like gilgamesh has been pretty strong. I've been going bluestone berserkers then for magical I go either shoguns or talisman of energy (depending on my lvl 5 item), then hide of lion, then I either go breastplate or bulwark, and for my final item it's either toxic blade or Quins. Relics have been tp beads or sunder beads.

Not gonna lie. I don't know if you know this or not but rune forged hammer procs on all three of tsukuyomi first abilities. So I go that on him in jungle. His damage becomes nuts with it if you land your abilities

I was playing sun wukong earlier in this patch and people were telling me that I should go soul eater first and they basically were saying to go the old solo lane build which I basically was doing because nobody had released any new builds and I don’t know how to build anything I was just taking what I had seen other people who played sun wukong had success with. hear me out.... hybrid zhong kui solo been slapping for me. build is as follows (against physical matchup): vamp shroud, warlocks staff, breastplate (usually left side upgrade), jade emperors, void stone, divine ruin, sell vamp shroud for spear of the magus late. relics are teleport 1st and blink 2nd

@@raithmhael3323 but sure let's take your aegis example. you walking into the fight pushing with support, or are you blinking in? also are you playing solo queue with 9 other solo queues or are you doing party vs party? we run a 4 stack minimum. you blink in we ability dump, burn your actives and reset. you walk in with support, we might not kill, but we do the same ability dump, burn actives and reset. time and time again, someone gets desperate and missplays after the 10th time we reset, we win the team fight and end. or they simply F6 at 56 minutes because the deaths are still something like 5-3

Guan tbh isnt like chaac at all, other than the fact they have a heal, which even then many warriors have self heals like chaac, IE bellona, achilles, herc, ama etc etc. Guan is a team healer, much more based on teamfights, builds much tankier, doesnt use the same actives usually, and like i said is a team healer.

I think that Jormycat could have been in this top solo gods, the buffs to guardian items AND flat pen items are just great for him as he can really build more into damage :D And Jorm with the quick tp is amazing, proxy your wave, go rotate, if something goes wrong, just tp back to lane, the combination of being able to proxy farm early and having a low cd tp is just bonkers :P

Taking the idea of Bastet a little forward I'd say any assassin with poke and healing have currently been enjoying an axe into trans start (Pele, Cama, Tsuki come to mind) followed by breastplate. I usually take a small dip in pressure while getting trans online but halfway through the trans stacks I'm outtrading. This will probably change with the nerf but I'm looking to see what all assassins will still do good. I have a feeling that switching to bluestone soul eater might be the play but I really want sigil soul eater to work (cause infused is just too good late game and as you said building power feels good as there's just so much to clear on the map)

I went a similar build with chaac but instead of trans and nemean I went breastplate and mantle and went red stone. I blink ulted like almost an entire wave plus two carries and then used my 1-2 on both and I checked and had almost 400 phys prots, i think it was like 390. The attack from Redstone is whatever but I think it's an underrated item. It gives so many prots if you can hit multiple enemies with your abilities, especially since chaac two gives prots anyway. I would agree that trans is probably a must with him because all mages are building divine and if you don't have that extra power for his 3 he just doesn't heal enough.

I'm not the best player or anything (I don't even play ranked) but my best matches against these top picks in casuals are always on Gilded Arrow Jorm, Manikins Horus, or Death's Toll Charybdis. I get the feeling in those matches that the other solo doesn't know what to do in the matches and it helps me out.

Honestly i think if your going into any team comp with jumps or if theres teamates with knockups solo awilix is basically un beatable as long as you know howto build her tanky. Her passive and cc are so oppressive to the point where you need only one or two power penetration items and your insta killing mid carry and jungle while also being able to dispose of solo without much trouble. All combined with unfair mobility. She is pretty situational but as long as there isnt and artio or a very good ares your gonna be schmacking aslong as you know howto solo assassin

Runeforge does nothing for her and deaths toll is better. You need more than just kill pressure in lane going deaths toll into beserkers not only gives you kill pressure but turn potential if you get ganked making it better than manikins runeforge which good junglers will punish. You also have enough dmg with deaths toll beserkers to still solo your lane opponent.

It can be alright on bellona 1 ability but short lasting and yeah not much value unless you also build frostbound . But that’s two slots used and then you need to focus on AA items to help out . I prefer her with deaths toll, berserk shield, shogun , cad shield/ nemion or mantle etc

I do use it with the 1 after clearing lane yes just smacking them a few times. I've only recently gotten back into smite after 3 yrs away. And I will admit to going double hammer if my team can't kill targets which I know I shouldn't do. Also I'm not the most aggressive laner atm.

Think it depends on your position , team builds and compositions as well as your current item list/ amount of gold backed with at 20. If you back with 2600 gold or something prob better off getting a full last item for example, if the enemy team doesn’t have much for antiheal you might want to upgrade to deaths embrace sooner for example just things like that

I talked about it at the end of the video but idk what you mean by overnight. An entire new season came out a couple weeks ago and lots of items have changed (especially starter item meta.) Items almost always dictate god viability and strength, and the fact that axe and blackthorn will no longer be viable HEAVILY hurt Achilles. You can play him and I’m sure you’ll do fine (like anything in smite, if you’re comfortable on a character you can make it work) but this is for getting down to the nitty gritty!

Warriors blessing, Mystical mail, Beatstick, Pridwen/Valor, Talisman of energy/warriors shield/nemean lion, Heartseeker (once i pop my 2, I get over 200 power, so I'm fully using its passive) Or Warriors blessing, Mystical mail Jotun's upgraded (heal), Talisman of energy/warriors shield/Valor, Nemean lion/Bulwark of hope, Heartseeker. Most likely I am getting first blood on lane, so with 2nd item pen/cd I'm trying to keep the lane pressure.

@@MccFallen that's just not true, if so beads counters everything in the game??? Beads has a long cooldown and can be used on different players. Sunder and ankh will only be bought to counter you specifically especially by a support with relic dagger so your ult is gone on cooldown too especially when they have similar if not less cooldown. Whilst beads can be burned by a lot of ults and abilities in the game

If someone is specifically building to counter you as Nike with relic dagger and relics that bust her shield, then there’s really not much you can do other than use Nike ult as an aoe slow applicator instead of a “I need another health bar” button. If someone wants your shield gone, they’ll destroy it.

I find your lack of Jorm disturbing. Also, I have different start. I take two multi pots and HoG. You HoG small camp in jungle, which delqys you one or two seconds, and then when you enter your lane with minions, you hit lvl two before your opponent. He either plays safe, and defends under tower, or tries to clear and die. Jorm with gilded arrow, med and tier one breastplate really owns the lane

Persistent Teleport makes laning so boring. It’s nice that you can rotate around the map, but it’s like a shorter cooldown super-med that allows you to never miss a wave unless you die just as a wave is coming up. There’s so little reward for bullying the enemy solo rn and early kills get you almost nothing.

It does make the lane less fun but it makes the game way more fun. I’d personally rather have an impact on the entire map and be at teamfights you never could before. The other option in a lot of games is just sit there and 1v1 an axe, breastplate rush, meditation solo laner for 20 minutes while you watch your team lose the game. 🤷‍♂️

@@DudeImFonz you’re right. TP lets you enjoy the fun team fighting part more in games now. Those first few minutes are just extra boring though. My recent teams have managed to steamroll the other lanes, not needing me for fights, and forcing early surrenders. So a lot of my games have only been mindless wave fighting for 10 minutes. With the MMR reset, I thought I’d really enjoy bullying my opponents and snowballing out of control as I rise through the lower ranks, but that’s just not happening now because the enemy solo is ALWAYS back in lane at full health and he’s contesting all the farm I want to take. Winning is cool and all, but it’s not fun. Maybe it’s just a me-problem. I’d prefer if they gave TP a limited number of teleports per structure so you could only use it to get back to your solo T1 twice. That way it stays relevant in lane for less time but stays just as relevant for TP’ing to your teammate’s towers as much as you’d probably need. And since new wards are always being placed, the limited number of TP’s per each ward wouldn’t be relevant. It might be a nightmare to code, but I think it could be a fun balance change. As it stands, I can bully the enemy solo out of lane just for them to come back almost unpunished and me almost unrewarded for being a better player in lane.
