I've tried Ravana solo a few times in casuals. This was before the sigil and axe buff, so back then I went Bumbas Hammer. Unkillable with great chase potential, a stun/heal every few seconds and a 1 that can dish out damage literally all the time.

Solo builds have gotten stale af with the recent changes. It feels like there is basically no reason to go anything besides Sundering Axe, Blackthorn Hammer, Mystical Mail, Bulwark of Hope, Pridwen, Void Shield/Spectral Armor except shaking up the order due to lane matchups or swapping out Void/Bulwark for Contagion/Pestilence when your support skips anti heal.

Achilles late game relies on his ult. Even one execute in a fight is enough to tip it in your teams favour. If the ult is aegised that's fine but if its body blocked or you miss than Achilles has much lower impact and value late

Love your videos fineo. I just started playing solo lane, got filled in there and thought i try it out. First solo was my chaac against a decent achilles, and i absolutely rinsed the achilles. Like. He wasnt even bad, he was better than me with achilles. Even his jungler couldnt save him from me xD ye and lategame i was just unkillable, as soon as i got sundering axe. The only person that absolutely destroyed me was a fed lategame freya. We DID lose to that freya tho, she slapped me so hard and my team was unable to focus on her, especially since they got Geb. I mean i do gotta say im really not that good in solo. Im really more of a supporter, but with the amount of toxic adc's i get currently, its quite a blessing when i got filled solo xD

I've mitigated 60+ thousand over a dropped 40+ thousand damage as him, gotten 10+ kills as him, top damage, kills and mitigated as him dozens of times.

He goes 4 health because you can try to sustain for full item and chalice sometimes you can sometimes you can't. Both are fine 3 and 1 or just 4 health. You aren't going a multi to sustain mana in lane like someone mentioned you're actually going 3 1 to pop both and go for a kill that's how you should be thinking about it.

Sustain really sucks right now which is why Arthur isn't nearly as good. That being said personally bluestone only stacks up so many times and lacks a lot of late game value so I go warriors into Sunder. You can play a poke game with warriors and long range abilities. Early game Arthur is terrible, level 1 up to 3 is the worst of any warrior. Playing it safe and getting a health chalice is really important. If you really want sustain your best bet is sovereignty but the black thorn build is better and I don't know if I could recommend getting blackthorn before sov or getting a blackthorn after sov. Your three is one of the worst abilities before getting a second point in it. Meaning don't use it for lane clear if you are going to end up hitting the enemy solo as well because you won't do meaningful damage and you'll just aggro the minions. Basically you have to play around the enemy minion wave killing you until around level 5 or 6. Sucks but it's where Arthur is at right now. Your late game is still really good especially with void shield.

As an Arthur main I would highly recommend getting bluestone. You need the damage on him otherwise you fall behind very early. But he is the kind of character that if you snowball you can run the game in my experience.

@@devonwhite9398 the problem with bluestone is that the late game upgrades are terrible. Brooch is your best bet but even then it's not great. If you want to do that early damage spike it's better to get tier two fighters mask instead of bluestone so you can sell it late game for a better starter upgrade. If you absolutely insist on bluestone than you need to be mindful of the stacks and do bursts of aggression and try to continually be poking the enemy without taking poke in return. Which is a very hard thing to do depending on lane opponent. The problem with fighters and bluestone early is you have no sustain relying on potions and avoiding damage. You need to be really comfortable with Arthur to run that build and the payout isn't that much higher than going for a safer starter that has better upgrades. Blackthorn gives power and let's you have Infinite mana which is great especially for Arthur who spams so much. If you don't get sovereignty which isn't a great item but is probably the best sustain item than you will be poked out super easily so you again have to rely on avoiding damage or straight out damaging them. This is possible with mystical and fighters/bluestone and playing smart but it's not easy. Late game that build loses to most adcs and has low magic prots. Which is fine and can run games. It can also lose games just as easily. It takes a decent player who is comfortable with Arthur to use that build. I'm not saying that the build is bad it's just not safe and not something I'd recommend to someone who is asking how to build Arthur with some sustain. Going blackthorn first is dangerous as it has no prots but it helps clear the lane especially with ax starters power and then sovereignty gives prots, hp5, and health. All helpful in solo and with sustaining in lane. Again with ax sustain and sov it's even more beneficial. I'm not saying my build is better it's just focused on sustain which is what OP was asking for. Also sustain Arthur can win games and isn't bad just like that bruiser heavy build isn't bad they just have different goals.

@@devonwhite9398 blustone gives 50 extra damage for lane clear, warriors with cudgel gives 10 additional power meaning you get 30 additional damage between two abilities. So using to abilities on minions means bluestone does 20 additional damage. However every additional ability with warriors is stacking 15 more damage whereas bluestone caps stacks at 2. Additionally your autos are dealing 4 additional points of damage. Finally bluestone is physical damage so that 50 from two abilities is mitigated by the enemies protections whereas ax steals health meaning every time you procc it they lose 35 (plus 1 per level) health in additional to restoring mana to you. Ax is better damage against the solo and better clear beyond level 2. Bluestone would be better if it was cheaper but at 800 gold you suffer from going it.

You should start switching to armor late game because warriors dont have that good late game scaling so the extra power with armor off isnt doing you much favors. Its just better to get the extra health and prots from armor stance

@@brandonswank9159 What do you mean? He was one of the few that could still abuse Fighter's Mask, he abused sigil and blackthorn prior to the warrior's axe buff too. He was already powerful and had tons of power with more flexibility and good matchups into all of the former "Best Solos" For anyone to think he just appeared out of nowhere solely from the buffs in the last few weeks they clearly weren't paying attention to solo. He has been strong ever since the 10 more dmg on his 3. That update alone with all the other changes was enough to make him top 5 viable with a very good spread of matchups. He has been strong since that update, and is one of the gods I saw the most consistent hard carryinh from solo out of. And I played the role for years and have not seen a god this consistently strong every match in solo since the old days of the crazy broken releases.
