To me, Living With The Land will always represent what EPCOT used to be. Just being on the ride and within the space gives me that feeling of Disney and what the parks mean to me more than a lot of the newer attractions.

Tokyo DisneySea is filled with vibes transportation. It's practically the park's specialty. They got that one right. The Venetian Gondolas are actually a major draw, I understand (though crowds were very light the day we went).

For me "Dinosaur" deserves a little more love. It's the only Disney ride that terrified me growing up and gives off this feeling of dread and impending doom (other than Tower of Terror maybe), yet the wait times are usually very short. Sad to see it going away after all these years
@MattMcIrvin

This would be my choice. It's an E-ticket, but also underrated. When Animal Kingdom first opened it was basically the only E-ticket aside from Kilimanjaro Safaris. I just rode the Tokyo Indiana Jones ride, it was terrific, and, yes, I can understand the impetus to re-theme Dinosaur to yet another Indiana Jones. But Dinosaur was *different* from the others. I don't like to see that difference going away.

The Carousel of Progress is one of the most underrated attractions in all of the Disney Parks in my opinion. It's a Walt Disney attraction, now literally called Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. It has a Sherman Brother's song, it's from the World's Fair and you get to see a video with Walt himself while you wait for your turn to get on. Is it outdated? Yes. BUT that's the charm of it, it's still very close to what Walt himself planned out for the 1964 World's Fair!

I'm a Disney critter enjoyer, one of the smaller parts of my Disneyland trips I enjoy is seeing and taking pics of the ducks, other birds, squirrels, and if I'm lucky during early morning/late night when the park is less populated i see cats. The storybook canals are a highlight cuz not only is it a relaxing peaceful boat ride where you get to look at the miniatures, often you can get close to the ducks in particular. Its still ofc discouraged to bother them, you need to interact with respect, but you do get cute pictures of them nestled among the miniatures which is great imo.

A year ago, my family went to Disneyland. We checked into the hotel, and at 4:30 am, my husband got up and hit his foot on his suitcase, all but ripping off a toenail. We spent hours in the emergency room, waiting for a doctor to show up to see to his toe. We were able to salvage the day, but my husband was not sure about driving home with his missing toenail. It was on the right foot. The last day at Disneyland, we went on Autopia again and again and again so he could get his confidence up again. Meanwhile, my daughters were having a blast. My older one controlled the speed, while my Downs daughter took the wheel. Good thing there's that rail in the center to keep the cars on the road.😂😂😊😊😊

Also, the animatronics for Jose, Donald, and Panchito, are actually older than Mickey Mouse Review. The animatronics were featured in the preview center before disney world was open. After Mickey Mouse Review closed in Florida, it was rebuilt in Japan. After it closed in Japan the figures where shipped back to Florida but it took time and money to fix and install them in the ride. Also huge fan of the ride in it former and current versions. "El Rio de Tiempo" reminded me of "If you had wings" Love the current versions for the Mayan Pyramid in the being and being a huge Donald fan love The Three Caballeros Always ride it's a do not miss for me

okay, hear me out on this one. its not "underrated" by any means, but rather "underappreciated." rock n roller coaster. i'm honestly such a sucker for this ride, it emits such good vibes and is like perfect fitting for what hollywood studios really is in my heart. and i think most people just ride this and think "oh fun roller coaster!" but what they dont think about is how GOOD this ride really is. i cant even explain it properly, its just one of those things that if you know, you know. but i never see people talk about how good this ride is like i think about it. so. theres my contribution lol.

Glad to see the canoes on the list for Disneyland. I made sure to go on the canoe on my last visit last year. But my pick for most underrated attraction would definitely be Sleeping Beauty's walkthrough! As someone who was going to the park in the 70s, the show scenes and their animations always remind me of the dioramas that were installed in the store windows along Main Street. I am a model railroader, so seeing great model building is always a pleasure for me. For the same reasons, if I were to pick a ride as my top underrated attraction, it would have to be the Storybook Land Canal Boats.

I Would never want to see the Island go away but I'd like to see it enhanced or rethemed.... it could have more appeal than it does. Could it be Neverland themed? Not crazy about the raft transportation, but not sure what else could be done to improve accessibility

In my personal opinion the most underrated rides/attractions at WDW. In magic kingdom - Carousel of Progress, I personally love this ride with every fiber of my being, I always have it as a must do on my list. In Hollywood Studios - Muppet*Vision 3D, look you can go in there and not have a fun time! It's so goofy and also air conditioning with seats is a huge plus. Animal Kingdom - There are so many neat things at AK that get recognition majority of the time, so I'd say the Jungle Trek and the Exploration Trail, they're both really neat and have a lot of cool information available. Epcot - look I'm a Figment girl through and through, it's fun and silly. Unfortunately I have no memory of the iteration before the current Figment so I can't speak on the differences but I think Figment is definitely worth a ride! and there you have the local Florida girl's thoughts on WDW's most underrated rides/attractions :)

Hey Dallin, it's not a big deal for me personaly, but as a brazilian a feel the need to teach you native english speakers the proper way to pronounce "José". In spanish, the pronounciation would be exactly like you guys usually say, with the J sounding like a R, which results in "Rosé" or "Rosê". In portuguese on the other hand, we pronounce the J more like you guys do in english and the "é" very simmilary to what "zeh" would sound, thus resulting in: Joe - Zeh (José) Pretty much like the english equivalent "Joseph", but with a "zeh" instead of an "eph" I know it's kind of a nitpick, but I think it's interesting to let other people know how we brazilians say his name. But to be fair we rarely call him José, as people with this name are mostly refered as "Zé" in Brazil, so we usually call him Zé Carioca (which was also the official name of his old Disney comics series that existed here for a while)

Hands Down: TOM SAWYERS ISLAND is underrated. It is essentially a playground covering two islands! We play tag at the fort, hide and seek in the caves and mines. And we love watching the parade from the literal pirate ship play ground. Also my one son loves hanging out at the empty dock watch Big thunder mountain. Bouncy bridges and the theming is amazing! Most people walk around the island like it is the Swiss Family Robinson tree house BUT so many miss that you have space to play. Most of the island is shaded and there is cold air blowing in all the underground sections. There are rocking chairs around and checker boards. It’s fun to explore and laugh. And you’ll wait 5 minutes to get to the island

My daughter has always loved Autopia-style car-ride attractions and still does as a teenager. We've never been to Disneyland, but she always makes a point of driving the "Canobie 500" at Canobie Lake Park, which actually gets long lines since it's near the front and every kid wants to ride it. It's odd, though--when she was little, she'd never drive the cars. She always wanted to ride in them, but she insisted that a parent should drive. That changed when we went to Walt Disney World and rode MK's Tomorrowland Speedway. I actually got her to operate the steering wheel on Tomorrowland Speedway, though I still worked the pedal.

I can say for Disney Land Paris, that the Molly Brown steam boat, is a fun ride around the rivers. It's also totally unique, after all you have Phantom Manour on the banks, Big Thunder, the only version of the ride as an island in all the disney parks in the middle. I admit it takes a bit to get use to duel narration (French and English) one after the other but you get there.

I think the underrated attractions at DisneySea are the Aquatopia and the Transit Steamer Line! When you go there, make sure to take the Transit Steamer at night! It's a magical trip! I don't know if it counts but Fortress Exploration is also really cool, there's just a lot to discover as you navigate the stairs and walkway of the whole place. We just experienced all of those--it was a great time! I only figured out afterward that in the hotter months, Aquatopia turns into a wet ride that soaks riders--all they have to do is switch to a different program. That's brilliant. People don't feel the need to ride the Liberty Belle because they ride the Ferry to and from the park. This checks the box of a "big boat" ride. At Disney Land there is no other option for a "big boat" ride, so people ride the only "big boat". LOL And if they are truly putting in electric cars at Autopia, it would be a major upgrade for Tomorrow Land. I hope Magic Kingdom follows suit.

My personal favorite underrated attraction, and also my favorite attraction in all of Epcot, is Impressions De France. I have no objective reasoning, I just think it's neat and would be devastated if they got rid of it completely. Last time I went, I literally had to sprint from the Norway pavilion to the France pavilion, through the pouring rain, water up to my mid-calves, to get to the theater in time to be able to catch a showing (I dried off in the waiting area so I wouldn't get the seats wet, lol) and it was worth it. I think all the time what I would do if I was rich and my number one thing would be to recreate the theater in my house and somehow get access to the film and hire a French person to do the spiel and show the film to me whenever I want (kind of joking but also not really)

The Davy Crockett Canoe guides can genuinely be as funny as the Jungle Cruise Skippers. One time my guide told my boat a story about a special tree that Walt supposedly planted himself while building Disneyland. He hyped us up as we got closer to where it was, and when we got there he pointed to a stump and just screamed “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”

I’m also a Colorado native, my sister and I have a bet going on if the Mexico Pavilion smells similar to Casa Bonita. The waterfall has such a distinct smell, but I think part of it is because of the age of the building. Though, it does smell the same since they reopened! We’ll settle our bet in October

To me, the most unappreciated attraction(s) are the Main Street Vehicles in Disneyland. Guests will ride them , but don’t appreciate the value of them and what they represent.

Great video! I think you’re right about Liberty Belle. It’s something that I would like to ride again, but when you don’t get to go to the parks that often, there’s more of a sense of urgency to check off the rides that are absolute musts. Hopefully I can check the Liberty Belle out again on my next visit.

Some attractions are underrated for its difference when the sun goes down! I love the twinkling lights and lit up miniatures of Storybookland. Big Thunder Mountain is beautiful with its vibrant purples and oranges. Jungle Cruise feels like you’re more in a secluded jungle in the dark and the skipper turns their headlight on. Mark Twain’s night trips (when happening with no Fantasmic) is gorgeous with its lights and dark waters.

This is the part of Autopia and the MK equivalent that so many people miss. Yes, for an adult the attraction is lame, not the future and so on. The reality is that it is not an attraction that was made for adults. It was made for children and can be something that a kid and a parent can share together. I cannot speak for anyone else, but when I was a kid I would have killed for the opportunity to "drive" something. Driving to a child IS THEIR FUTURE and this constant call by adults to get rid of it is really disturbing to me. It shows not only a misunderstanding about the appeal but also the importance of the bonding part of growing up. Where else can they go to get not a simulation but to control, usually badly, a car and they alone, as far as they know, are actually doing the driving and the parent can know that they aren't going to run into a tree or something similar. As a child nothing like that existed, but when my two daughters were young I rode with them driving and they in turn rode with their kids after they became that dreaded adult and were forced to ride that lame ride. A lame ride that I will always remember and recall the looks on their faces while they were driving me someplace. That was worth the cost of admission alone. All this from a 76 year old father of two and grandfather of four and am truly blessed to have been able to see the faces consisting of a smile from ear to ear of all 6 of them at different times from 1983 to 2008. Who knows, now that my grandchildren are grown up, out of college and starting their own lives, I might get to see my great grandkids doing the same thing. Fingers crossed!

You had me with Gran Fiesta Tour. It’s low key my fave ride in Epcot. It’s a nostalgic one for me with how much I loved it as a kid, but now I appreciate it much more as an adult. I’ll never forget riding it essentially alone in an empty pavilion during After Hours and being on cloud nine

I've always loved the canoes; there is something about them, alongside Tom Sawyer Island itself, that not only feels like old Disneyland, but just old local amusement parks in general, back in the time when they were largely picnic grounds with some homemade rides. It's not uber-designed, it's not controlled, it's all up to you. The dockside catch and release fishing at Port Orleans in Florida gives me a similar vibe. It adds a variety to the park activities that really helps to make Disneyland special.

I personally think when they replace attractions they sometimes kill the history of Disney. I would think there could be an actual attractions of yesteryear historical land. Maybe this is because my parents took my sister and I to Disneyworlds opening year and my memories are so vivid. I was only 6 but I have full memories of things I saw back then. ❤👸🏻

I've only been to Disney World once, and it was so hot that we spent most of our time at the water park, but at Disneyland, I have a couple nominations: 1. Star Tours and Buzz Lightyear late at night. Toward the end of the day, you can just walk on to these rides and they are right next to each other. Neither is worth waiting in a long line, but as a walk on, it is one of the best values in the park. And the secret to Buzz? Keep the gun in its holster, close your eyes, and just spin the vehicle around and around. The noise and lights all blend into a cacophony of sensation behind your closed lids, with the spinning giving a sense of tactility. It is actually one of my most anticipated moments of the day. It is teacups on steroids. 2. Animation Academy. Get out of the heat, try something different, get a free souvenir that you made yourself. It is in my top 5 Disneyland attractions (for those keeping score: Big Thunder, Guardians, Animation Academy, Incredicoaster, Mickey and Minnie. And from Florida, I'd have to add Cosmic Rewind and Expedition Everest. 3. Silly Symphony Swings. Yes, I know you can get a roughly equivalent ride at your local county fair, but there's just something magical about looking out over Pixar Pier while the wind whips through your hair to the William Tell Overture. I usually make it part of my rope drop routine. Guardians twice, Cars single rider twice, Incredicoaster, maybe Pal-a-Round, then Silly Symphony. The reason I like to go early is because NOBODY rope drops that ride, so before 10am, there's usually no line and they'll let me just stay on for 3 rotations. 4. Based on 1 and 3, you can probably figure my Disney strategy. Get there for rope drop, go crazy for 3 hours or so, grab something to eat, then go back to the hotel and nap while everyone else waits in long queues in the heat of the day. Come back in early evening, rested and ready to go, and close out the park. It is absolutely the best strategy, and I'll fight to the death if you disagree. Lowest lines, least heat, getting the magic of the energy everyone feels as the day begins, followed by the magic of Disney at night, spend 10 hours in the park, but broken up by a fantastic nap means that every day feels to me like 2 days. #winning!

The Autopia is somewhat like the Jungle Cruise, it has turned into a huge garden full of large established trees and shrubs. The jungle Cruise is more of a jungle and the Autopia is more of forest "like Endor" (A Star Wars tie-in)

Biggest theme park regret, I was right in front of Living with the Land. I just saw Splash Mountain opened up and it was closed the day before. This was 2019 I knew splash was going to go soon and it was close to the end of my trip. I remember thinking “I want to relax but I think I’ll save the greenhouse ride for another trip” BUT THEN I LEARN THERE ARE SHOW SCENES WITH THEMING? So now I can’t watch a video of the ride until I go back
