My favorite soundtrack is "Jurassic Park" by John Williams. The main theme always makes me feel like coming home and opens my heart. On the same time, the soundtrack can be very dramatic. ... Unfortunately the record is very expensive especially the limited versions, so for christmas it's just gonna be the normal black vinyl version.

My favourite sound tracks I own on vinyl are from the Earl 70s and 60s like Shaft, Enter the dragon, the Italian job, pusher man by Curtis Mayfield, Tough Guys by Issac Hayes, the first Rocky movie definitely not the sequels with eye of the tiger. The theme from Howai five o, coffee by Roy Ayers as well as a lot of blackspliotaion themes from that period I also like listening to. There's an other film with Charlton Heston in it called, Earthquake which is worth checking out too.

The one soundtrack I've listened to the most over the last 20 years is From Dusk Till Dawn. It not only rocks, but it gives a whole audio-feel of the movie. A newer one I've been liking is the soundtrack to A Ghost Story. I like to play it at night as I get ready for bed. It makes me feel as if ghosts are lurking in the darkness around me.

All the Indiana Jones Movies are getting re-presses and they are among my favorites. Also The Adventures of Robin Hood Soundtrack on vinyl is great (besides the music being good, it's my favorite film).

was pretty happy with this video. When I saw the title, but before I watched, I said to myself "OK Matt, Tron and what are your other four?" (glad to hear of five others is my point). My favorite soundtrack of all time is "Pretty In Pink". I was listening to old school rap and Prince in 1986. Then I saw the film and bought the soundtrack and it changed my life I bought it for a Prince protege song "Get To Know Ya" by Jesse Johnson and accidentally discovered Echo and the Bunnymen, New Order and The Smiths, who became my favorite band of all time from this soundtrack. Another great one is "THE CROW".

The Dead Man soundtrack is one of my favorites because I love everything Neil Young does. I really like the Watchmen sound track because you have so many greats like Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and I'm obsessed with MCRs cover of Desolation Row. I love the Hunchback of Notre-Dame because I could literally listen to Tom Hulce sing all day. And I think the Moulin Rouge soundtrack is amazing! I have so many more but I can't think of any more right now.

Sony Classical put out a box set of the episodes I-VI of the Star Wars movies. Sound is amazing so I would definitely reccomend that one.

I do not get the concept of keeping a play and sealed version of a soundtrack. I can see multiple pressings like say original and repress of Rosemary's baby. But why buy an album and not listen to it?

Scott - I collect just as much as I listen. The copy I play is the black, standard press. The sealed copy is the limited colored version. Because it's my favorite soundtrack, it brings me joy to own a rare version of it. I don't need to play it, because I have the other.

Fun Fact - Eddie actually toured solo when Into The Wild came out and performed most of the album Amazing shows where he'd take a break and take questions from the audience, one of the best concerts I've ever experienced

Matt! I think it's important to remember that Corin Tucker from Sleater-Kinney also made a part of the soundtrack to Into the Wild! And of course... One of the best vocals in rock of all time, with her adorable and equally awesome friend Eddie Vedder.

Huge fan of Jon Brion's stuff... Punch-Drunk Love and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in particular. Recommended. Also partial to the 101 Reykjavík soundtrack by Damon Albarn and Einar Örn Benediktsson.

We need to talk about Bernard Hermann! North By Northwest and Vertigo are two of the best movie soundtracks ever. I’d add The Mission, Blade Runner, Twin Peaks (TV), Raiders of the Lost Ark and, last but certainly not least, Paris Texas!

Hey guys, cool video! Definitely a fan of the Singles and Into the Wild OSTs. 500 Days was good, but man, what a depressing movie! Here are my three favorites (in no particular order, I love them all!): - The Crow - Trainspotting - Grosse Pointe Blank Honorable mention to “Legend” by Tangerine Dream! Had the tape as a kid and loved the movie. Was able to nab an original pressing of the LP online and I love it! Check these out (if nothing else online, some are out of print), think you’ll enjoy them!
