I use it for massaging my scalp twice a week; you're right, it does make the hair soft and moisturized. So far, it hasn't affected my grey, and i love the smell.

Hello, do you think its beneficial to oil the scalp and use a heat cap to make sure the oil saturate into the scalp?

Hello and good morning. I ordered the product. I wondered how long it took for you to get the product?

The smell to me is similar to burnt coffee. It feels really good on my scalp. My ends (still) need help, I'll start using it there too. Thank you for the tips and reminders.

My hair is a copper dye, can I still use the oil on my colored hair?
@KarenofCurlHouse12 күн бұрын
Yes you can ... so the product is brown so it shouldn't affect the color, however out of caution, I suggest you test it on a small portion of your hari because applying all over.

I used it as an hot oil treatment in a mixture with other oils. I added it to my conditioner with heat. But i read the adding oil to dry hair is sealing in dryness, no matter what oil. Perhaps wetting the hair makes sense but adding oil to dry hair doesn't make sense. Any one else heard of this.

That's NOT True at all with Hot Oil Treatments. Applying the hair oil to damp or towel-dried hair allows the oil to penetrate the hair shaft more effectively and provide deeper hydration, BUT Applying Oil to dry hair as a "Hot Oil Treatment" it does absorb in the Hair due to the "Warm Oil" that sinks in better from the warmth. “Heat from a hot towel" or "warm hair oil" increases absorption. Applying Oil to Clean Dry Hair as a Finisher will tame frizz and add shine. It all depends on the Type of Oil. Heavier Oils are not recommended as a Finisher on Dry Hair when Styling. Use warm oil, as the liquefied formula can sink in better. “Heat in the form of a hot towel or warm hair oil equals increased chances of absorption. You can warm up some oil in a bowl and apply it or use a hot towel on your hair after application,” she confirms.

@@naturalkinkycurlymarie7496 I believe that my point is that the oil needs some type of heat and moisture.... damp hair has water in it and so does a damp and warm towel.... you need to have moisture (H2O) interact with the hair and oil. If your hair is dry and brittle just putting oil on it may not be enough especially with heavy oils.... I am sticking with my point. She did mention one of the heavier oils.

Hi Karen, you’re so beautiful. I have a tiny bald spot at the very front of my crown from braiding. It’s tiny soft hairs around a few “hard” but a tiny clear spot in between the hairs. The skin on it feels soft as well. It’s been a bunch of years. Can I regrow the hairs and restore the hairline fully without a transplant ? It hasn’t helped that over the years I braid or do cornrows and even the remaining ones get pulled out. The few strong strands hardly get long because of this. Do you have a oil that I can use ? Some Advise ? 😢🤍
