Thank you Anthony for another year of your hard work sharing your music. It might not be said enough but we all appreciate what you do on the day to day to share such great (and terrible) music. I’m saying this, I am a bit confused as to why you have placed Imagine Dragons’ Night Vision at number 1 when it came out in 2012. Regardless, thanks again!

I got into Jeff Rosenstock this year and he became one of my top 3 artists of all time within a couple months. While I attribute Worry to most of that, Hellmode was a very close second. That album had amazing highs and touched on a lot of the same feelings I’ve had in recent memory. I think it’s the kind of album that came to me at the perfect time and I love every second of it. Very happy to see you give it the praise it deserves.

jeff getting album of the year is so hype. I loved the album right away but it wasn't necessarily my favorite of his, until I saw him play it live, at which point it really clicked and its been a top for me since. 3 summers is a fucking masterpiece and if you get the chance to see it live you need to.

I have to give a moment of appreciation for your ability to rank all of these different artists and genres of music against each other, it's very impressive. I had to make two seperate Top 10s (metal and not metal), cause I felt I couldn't fairly compare the albums. Anyway, as far as stuff we had in common, Caroline Polachek, Kristin Hayter, Liturgy, Mitski, and Lana Del Rey all really resonated with me this year. The first three were really high in my rankings.
