Top 50 strongest Dragon Ball characters up to series finale & including DBS: Broly
SPOILERS FOR THE VIDEO IN THE COMMENTS: I've posted a semi-detailed description of feats and reasonings behind each spot on the list down in the comment section as pinned comment. If you want more in-depth explanations or links to any sources, please leave a separate comment, so we can have a discussion.
PLEASE NOTE:
Movie characters are treated as at least equal to their canon counterparts unless they perform feats explicitly higher than their main timeline versions were at that same time period.
For example, Wrath of Dragon Ultimate Gohan has no notable scaling, so I’ll be treating him as strong as his main story version, but in same movie, Ssj3 Goku is proven stronger than Ssj3 Gotenks or Ultimate Gohan, making him more powerful than main series Goku was at that same point in time.
I agree with the top half of this list to this day, but I admit that the lower half isn’t as solid & can be far more up to interpretation .
Side-Notes:
- Majin Buu is ranked three times due to being separated into 3: Majin (Original) that became split into Good & Evil halves. Good Buu later trained & became "Fit Buu"
- Zamasu's/Fused Zamasu's Immortality is restricted to make ranking him easier. Keep in mind he initially got his ass kicked by Ssj Blue, and even Ssj2 Trunks can kill him.
- Bergamo's power gained via his damage/energy absorption is restricted to make ranking him easier.
- Vegito is in his Goku Black Arc version (as we don't see him after that) so he's weaker than ToP versions of Goku &Vegeta
- I chose not to include other Angels & Gods of Destruction that are featless, but is safe to say they are prolly around the same level of power as Champa/Beerus & Vados/Whis.

SPOILERS FOR THE RANKINGS: #50 Broly (Movie) - Much stronger than likes of Super Perfect Cell & Dabura, as Broly could eradicate entire Galaxies in just his Ssj Form. In his Lssj form, was stated to be similar threat to Universe as Buu, under much shorter time. Was able to trash Movie Ssj Gohan who believed that he was superior to first line-up of 4 Ssj's that couldn’t take Broly in their previous fight, which means he’s even stronger. Only thing that keeps him this low is his weak ass durability, that allowed character weaker than him to pierce his chest. #49 Shisami - Could fight Fukkatsu no F Arc Piccolo evenly, but was inferior to rusty base Fukkatsu no F Arc Gohan. #48 Tagoma/Ginyu - Could kill powered up Shisami & trashed rusty Fukkatsu no F Arc Gohan who needed to go Ssj to defeat him. #47 Basil - Could fight & press Good Buu, who seemingly hadn’t gone through any major changes since Buu Arc. #46 Evil Buu - Had lot more than 50% of full Majin Buu’s power allowing him to trash Good Buu. #45 Lavender - Was able to trash & basically tie with rusty pre-TOP Arc Gohan who was considered stronger than Good Buu. Could be higher if his poison works on people stronger than him. #44 Bergamo - Definitively above Basil & Lavender. However, he was weaker than even beginning of TOP Arc Goku's base, who was clearly holding back & could only become strong enough to (somewhat) match his SsjBlue state after absorbing large amount of his non-lethal blows. If he’s immediately killed/one-shot, I don’t believe he can climb that high. If we count how strong he became by absorbing Goku’s blows, he’d be far higher. #43 Rubalt - Matched TOP Arc Piccolo. #42 Piccolo - Has definitely surpassed likes of Shisami & Tagoma after training, as well as rusty pre-TOP Arc Gohan, who was superior to Good Buu. Arguably belongs to much higher via many questionable TOP feats where he seems to be relative to TOP Arc Gohan & Namekians, even one-shotting Buu Arc Ultimate Gohan when his guard was down (common raygun level), but has just as many feats of jobbing to low-tier TOP fodder. #41 Majin Buu - The full Majin Buu with both Good & Evil Parts was about as strong as Super Buu, who was never state to have received any major amp, instead just becoming same Buu, but Evil side on control. #40 Gotenks - Was equaling Base Super Buu as Ssj3. Has not demonstrated anything in terms of improvement since then. #39 Hirudegarn - In it’s final form, one-shot Movie Ssj3 Gotenks, Movie Ultimate Gohan & Movie Ssj2 Vegeta. #38 Kid Buu - Was able to toy around Buu Arc Ssj3 Goku. Was stated to need both Ssj3 Gotenks & Buu Arc Ultimate Gohan to be safely defeated. Resisted Spirit Bomb that contained power of Ultimate Gohan as well as all of Earth’s energy combined with most of Universe’s & Afterlife’s Energy. Can be argued to be ”most dangerous” or ”most powerful Buu”, but most consistently would be below Buuhan in power. #37 Janemba - Could alter all of Afterlife with his power. Movie Ssj3 Goku couldn’t do jack to him & only way he could be matched was a Fusion of Movie Goku & Movie Vegeta, unlike Hirudegarn who was defeated by Ssj3 Goku & Kid Buu, who was somewhat matched by weaker Main series Ssj3 Goku. #36 Super Buu - As Buuhan, was able to alter every dimension in Universe 7 Macrocosm with his Vice Shouts, a feat far greater than any performed by any Movie character, like Janemba or Broly. Forced Buu Arc Ssj Vegito to momentarily get serious. #35 Gogeta (Movie) - Casually destroyed Janemba with just one attack, which puts him around Buu Arc Vegito, who could toy around Buuhan. #34 Good Buu - After training *sigh* for 1 hour, was able to fight & force Base beginning of TOP Arc Goku down, albeit with a surprise attack. #33 Zamasu - Stricktly speaking of Future Zamasu here, who was noted to be more powerful. Was able to fight Black Arc Goku & Vegeta in their Blue Forms, but was later shown to be one-shot even by Black Arc Ssj2 Trunks & lower forms of Goku & Vegeta. Arguably higher, depending on how much Goku & Vegeta became stronger after Fukkatsu no F Arc. #32 Frost - Arguably belongs lot higher via his poison needless which would allow him to catch opponents stronger than him by surprise. His Final Form is inferior to Cabba’s Ssj Form & was easily eliminated by TOP Arc Frieza when both were in their base 100% Forms. #31 Monna - Was thrashing Ssj1 Cabba #30 Cabba - Managed to defeat Monna after turning Ssj2. Likely stronger than base TOP Arc Vegeta as Frieza deemed Golden Frieza necessary to finish him off instead of his base (which is equal to Goku’s & Vegeta’s bases) #29 Caulifla - When teaming up with Kale, could fight evenly with Ssj2 TOP Arc Goku, however it should be noted that Kale is far stronger than her, likely at least twice, and that Goku was heavily exhausted by this point, which would put her Ssj2 state below Goku’s Ssj in 1v1 situation, as Ssj2 is only 2x amp. #28 Katopesla - Relative to TOP Arc Ssj Vegeta & pushed him to use Final Flash. #27 Magetta - Relative to TOP Arc Ssj Vegeta & seemingly gave him more trouble than Katopesla. #26 Obuni - Could match & even surprise TOP Arc Ultimate Gohan while the latter was not going all-out. #25 TIE: Saonel & Pirina - Could somewhat push TOP Arc Ultimate Gohan when teaming up, however, far weaker Piccolo was somewhat able to keep up with them both implies them to be below SsjBlue tier TOP Arc characters. #24 Maji Kayo - Restrained Ssj2 TOP Arc Goku & could threaten base Dyspo, who can somewhat fight SsjBlue tier TOP Arc characters. #23 Kale - Could walk off Kamehameha from TOP Arc SsjBlue Goku, whom she forced to transform after his Ssj2 did no damage, but later was shown to be about equal to exhausted Ssj2 Goku when working together with Caulifla. Either Goku got much stronger between their fights, or Berserker Kale is much stronger & closer to Blue Goku than her controlled self, which would be more in-line with her & Caulifla’s fusion being superior to Kaio-Ken 20x Blue Goku. #22 Koichirator - Was able to somewhat fight TOP Arc Ultimate Gohan who was somewhat serious, as well as clash with TOP Arc Goku's & Vegeta's SsjBlue states, however they weren’t serious. #21 Goku Black - Was pressuring end of Black Arc SsjBlue Vegeta & SsjBlue Goku simultaneously, who had no way to counter his dimension warping abilities, which would likely place him between them and beginning of TOP Arc Goku & Vegeta in their SsjBlue states, who’ve had more training since Black Arc. I place him above Koichirator as Goku & Vegeta they fought shouldn’t be too far off & Black was owning them. (Continued)

#20 Son Gohan - Was shown to somewhat equal beginning of TOP Arc SsjBlue Goku, and could fight Dyspo with help of TOP Arc Golden Frieza #19 Golden Fieza - Was shown to be equal to beginning of TOP Arc SsjBlue Goku & did better against Dyspo than TOP Arc Ultimate Gohan did in the same situation. #18 Dyspo - In his Superspeed Mode, he overwhelmed TOP Arc Golden Frieza & needed him as well as TOP Arc Ultimate Gohan to team-up to be defeated. #17 Android 17 - Could match beginning of TOP Arc SsjBlue Goku while neither was going all out, implying them to be about equal. Could arguably go far higher as he was somewhat fighting God of Destruction Toppo while Golden Frieza couldn’t, and depending on how strong you think injured end-of the Arc Jiren was. #16 Hit - Did better against suppressed Jiren than SsjBlue Kaio-Ken 20x Goku (at the beginning of TOP Arc) with Spirit Bomb, which contained most of the energy of U7 fighters. #15 Aniraza - could fight & nearly overwhelm TOP Arc SsjBlue Goku, SsjBlue Vegeta, Ultimate Gohan, Golden Frieza & Android 17, but didn’t warrant Goku & Vegeta to use their Kaio-Ken & Evolved states, meaning he’s below Toppo. #14 Toppo - in his God of Destruction form, was able to one-shot Top Arc Golden Frieza & give Android 17 run for his money quite casually. Evolved SsjBlue Vegeta had to use Final Explosion to defeat him. Arguably could be higher, but due to merely suppressed Jiren being stated superior to every God of Destruction & U11 fighters, he’s below Vegito & Merged Zamasu. #13 Future Trunks - While I’m not counting his Spirit Sword Asspull which allowed him to one-shot Merged Zamasu due to being outside help, he still could wound them via his golden Ki-sword formed on his own, without any of Earth’s energy, which could even be argued to be above Black Arc SsjBlue Vegito, but consistently doesn’t seem likely. #12 Vegito - Was equal/superior to Merged Zamasu. Would be strong as (or stronger than) SsjBlue Gogeta if he would've been the one that appeared in DBS Broly Movie. #11 Merged Zamasu - While Merged Zamasu themselves got overwhelmed by Black Arc Golden Sword Trunks & SsjBlue Vegito, he managed to outlast them both. As I’m not counting their immortality, it could be argued that they were ’killed’ by both (Trunks via golden asspull Sword & Vegito via the punch disintegrating their face), but after becoming Infinite/Mugen Zamasu, they were implied to be on far higher scale than Merged Zamasu, who could match Vegito. #10 Vegeta - Defeated God of Destruction Toppo & was shown to equal SsjBlue Kaio-Ken 20x TOP Arc Goku in his Evolved SsjBlue state. Due to Vegeta & Goku becoming able to somewhat match suppressed Jiren & forcing him to use little more of his power, they have become stronger than Black Arc SsjBlue Vegito & Infinite Zamasu, as suppressed Jiren was stated to be superior to them. #9 Kefla - Could one-shot SsjBlue Kaio-Ken 20x TOP Arc Goku & somewhat fight & even harm UI Goku that was stronger than in his first fight with Jiren. Arguably could be higher #8 Champa - Frequently battles Beerus, so should be at least relative to him. #7 Beerus - Vastly superior to SsjBlue Kaio-Ken 20x TOP Arc Goku & Evolved SsjBlue Vegeta on basis of UI Goku possibly rivaling him in power. Implied to be more powerful than Infinite Zamasu. Is also among the strongest of the Gods of Destruction, meaning that Champa is likely inferior, as implied by Vados as well. #6 Broly (DBS) - Was stated to be possibly stronger than Beerus’ full power. Assuming that Goku even knows Beerus’ full power, he’d either be equal or slightly superior to Beerus. #5 Gogeta - Was overwhelming Lssj Broly, who somewhat managed to keep up with him, meaning that gap between them isn't exponentially massive. #4 Son Goku - Was overwhelming Hidden Power Jiren in their final battle. As supressed Jiren is stated to be above Gods of Destruction, this makes MUI bigger amp than even Fusion SsjBlue, which was superior to Lssj Broly, who was close to Beerus’ full power give or take #3 Jiren - Despite popular belief, he was stronger than MUI Goku in their final encounter, as he was able to outlast Goku’s transformation despite initially getting overwhelmed. Is stated to be stronger than any God of Destruction even before attaining his ’Hidden Power’. #2 TIE: Whis & Vados - Gap between Whis & Beerus is stated to be larger than the massive gap between SsjGod Goku & Beerus in BoG Arc. Is shown to one-shot out of control Beerus. Vados is implied to be as strong, or even stronger than him #1 Grand Priest - Father of Angels & stated to be massively even above Whis in power & one of the top fighters in existence, able to restrain multiple Gods of Destruction at the same time. 0# Zeno - Is stated to be above everything in the 12 Universes & able to erase anything in an instant which includes Angels. He does have a questionable limit in TOP however, where apparently Dyspo’s speed was too much to follow for him so he could argue that he’d just get blitzed by everyone higher than number #20, but lore-wise, he should just be above everything in the verse.

List is missing Android 18 and Ribrianne

Ribrianne got consistently One-Shotted by everybody's base forms in the Tournament of power & I never got any indication what her acual placement would be... I searched videos & forums on how strong she is in comparison to main cast but nobody seems to want to f*cking talk about her... can't imagine why. Without her powered up forms (outside help) she isn't getting past anyone in this list as far as I see. Android 18, I would place her around the level of Super Perfect Cell & Dabura as I think putting her on the level of Piccolo (like many do) is giving too much credit to person who never trained & after she did... well, let's just say Krillin was her sparring partner. She never fought anyone major nor was swapping hands with Tournaments stronger people... only major opponent of hers was... Ribrianne. Granted, it was her featless powered up form, but she needed 17's help. so..... Top 55-50 is my placement? I guess?

I disagree with a lot of what you just said. 1) Ribrianne only got one-shotted by Vegeta's base form, and even then it was explained why she did. Her mind was completely elsewhere. She lost her confidence completely after she saw her teammates constantly losing battles. Rozie had to slap her in order for her to get her confidence back. Even then, she was still blocking attacks from base Vegeta, something that SSJ3 Gotenks failed to do against a much weaker base Vegeta, which means Ribrianne at the bare minimum is still stronger SSJ3 Gotenks and those below him. You're also forgetting Ribrianne's other feats, like fighting on par and impressing SSJ Vegeta, or forcing Goku to go SSJB on her for a brief second with her second form (the one with wings). 2) This is Dragon Ball Super we're talking about. Fat Buu only trained for 2 hours and became so much stronger that he even got a new form, and his sparring partner was Mr Satan of all people. Gohan also became much stronger after training for some hours with Piccolo. If these people became so much stronger after just a short time of training, I don't see why 18 can't. 3) 18 didn't need 17's help at all. All 17 did was protect her from a ki blast, which wouldn't have hurt 18 anyway, as 18 punched through another one of Ribrianne's ki blasts after that and didn't get injured by it at all. 18 did all the work in that battle. In my opinion, both Ribrianne and 18 should be at least in the top 40.

@@somesubs2778 You made some interesting points by bringing up Gotenks vs Fake Vegeta. The fact is though that Goku, Vegeta & others hold back for most of the Tournament (Blue Goku not effecting Kale but later trashes her & Caulifla as Ssj2 among other dumb things) so it's pretty hard to gauge their feats in scenaros such as this. Rewatched all the Ribrianne fights & it's at least implied Ssj1 level fighters are little impressed with her, & the part about Ribrianne losing her sh*t before getting pushed around by base Vegeta also holds true. However I'd like to note that her feats in her powered up forms can't be taken into account as they are achieved by outside help (U2 waving their glowy sticks of awesome) Checked the wight with Android 18 and it's true, 17's help is only superficial, however I'd like to note that 18 was confident boosted at the time & might not been able to break Big Amour she was trapped in before without it. Also arguing that 18 training some 2 days or so makes her that much stronger isn't really an argument, considering that Gohan wasn't training for year or few years & lost his Utimate Form (this is not arguable) & became weak as a twig during that time, so saying 18 kept her previous strenght not training for all that time, is pretty generous if ya ask me. So you're kinda right, Ribrianne MIGHT be Ssj1 tier depending on how much power Vegeta & Goku were using, possibly placing her & 18 at Top 40-30 range. It's pretty up in the air (to me a least, but that's just the way Super is).

i think old broly was stated to be able to destroy galaxy s easely in the data book puting him in 36 because he is more than janemba witch had some problems with ssj3 witch is multi solar system and less than buuhan witch was going to destroye the universe

Yes indeed he is. It is stated multiple times in the movie as well. However his durability is shit, as he was killed by Ssj Goku through some convoluted bullshit (might've been the wound he got from that Knife as a child?) & got blasted through the Sun by 3 Ssj level fighters in Second coming. His destructive capacity is incredible but he's shown to be beaten by the likes of Buu Saga characters. Ssj3 Goku & Janemba shook the Hell itself in Fusion Reborn, easily putting them above Broly's Galaxy feat. Goku was higher than Multi Solar System in that movie.

@@Marionic9001 I agree that he has low durabilaty to his busting power but in the 2nd movie he had a zenkai mode and the only reason they won was because when broly used that blast he didn t power it up because he thought he didn t need to and even him supressed they needed trunks to attack him also ssj2 gohan couldn t even scratch him so maybe above kid buu but weaker than janemba so 38

@@sofiennabli1497 Broly actually spams multiple projectiles at his Omega Buster I believe it's called. Sure he starts the attack pretty casually, but after Goku shows up, he seems to get serious. I literally rewatched the scene again and the ball Trunks (base) throws diverts only one of Broly's blasts away & doesn't really effect the outcome. Broly even uses his Shield but still gets F'd by the Kamehameha shot by 3 Ssj's. If Gohan was Ssj2 (which he is not in any Video Game adaptation or article talking about the movie) doesn't make much of a difference to this list... Majin Buu & his halves can casually SLAP Ssj2 tier fighters. I believe he's above Ssj2 (Cell Saga) easily, but Buu is also stated to destroy Galaxies so... he's beat in the durability there.

@@Marionic9001 yeah i get what you re saying but kid buu destroyed galaxy s in few years that means 10 to 3 years and that at best multi solar system were in broly movie material in his legendairy form can destroy multiple galaxy s in less than a month making him galaxy level witch kid buu cant survive and i sayed ssj2 why would he not go ssj2 when he is being destroyed and he turned legendairy or broly would have lost so i don t know how adult gohan in ssj1 would be stronger than ssj1 broly who took hits from masterd ssj1 goku and only bleed a little with a zenkai boost

@@Marionic9001 Here are the feats why is stronger than buu 1.in the begining of movie 8 he destroyed the south galaxy with is bigger than an average galaxy in his suppressed super saiyan with makes him in it multi solar system . 2. That broly was damaged and bled by M8 goku that said that a galaxy getting destroyed was no big deal. 3.and broly when he transforms into his legendairy form was able to play around with ssj M8 goku and M8 ssjgohan,ssjvegeta,ssjtrunks and piccolo 4.but broly s best statement is by piccolo and paragues and in one of the data books is how he was going to destroy the universe overtime not a threat he was going to destroy it if he took all his life time lets say a 100 years he would still be multi galaxy level
