Playing ragnarok, my first carni was a allo (now before I continue there's something you should know about me, I like the get up to Chitin armor before I tame a bunch of creatures so yeah) it was stuck on two other allos so I ran back to my base to grab a bajillion tranqs. So I ran back and i found a lvl 124 anky and its lvl 36 friend had killed 1, so I kited the anks away then knocked out 1 allo and used the other for meat. Best 45 minutes of my life.

Don't sweat the small ones! A parasaur isn't terribly useful later on, but just max up its weight and let it follow you around as you gather, and you can pick up a whole lot more without having to run back and forth all the time. (and as a bonus, you can gather a lot of berries with them--not as much as the trikes or nearly as much as the stegos, but enough to tame the trikes and stegos, and fill the constant demand for more narcoberries.) And even the dilophasaurs can be pretty badass when you've got eight of 'em.

My personal opinion, and I do this every time when I'm on official or fiber craft or whatever I'm on, I always get the trike to be my second tame. Because first I suggest getting a parasuar to get fiber and berries. Then get a trike to get more fiber and wood ect. By then I usually try to look for some kind of flyer. Then find a base location and get a raptor or two, then settle on making a raft and living perm on the raft.

stego is better than the trike in every single way, always go for the stego as the earlier you can tame them the better you can set up your late game breeding for raiding and mutations. The trike's health and berry farming is completely outclassed by the stego. The stego is also able to tank turrets for the player while mounted with an 80% damage reduction on the fins (better health pool as well). The only area the trike is better is in movement speed and attack speed and taming ease. However it is a much better and worthwhile investment to take the extra five minutes to tame a stego. A mejoberry tame is very easy as the stego's torpidity loss is one of the slowest in the game and quiet comparable to the trike. The fact the stego saddle is available so early also hints to the fact that it should be tamed early on (pre-50 as the video suggests) and that there is a choice in whether to tame the trike or stego before moving onto the bronto late game berry farming. There is a small problem with this however, the trike is basically useless and I feel is only kept in the game as it is one of the most iconic dinos that we know of, basically one of the big 3 (trike, rex and raptor) but the actually feasibility of this dino is close to zero as it is outclassed in any one area that it attempts to complete by similar dinos. Namely tanking/farming, the bronto and stego outclass it. berry collection/speed the iguanodon. Dps (not a primary use for taming) again the bronto and stego. I feel that the statement you made regarding the trike being better than the stego pre 50 is completely inaccurate and unresearched/ignorant. now do not mistake me for a common hater as I do enjoy your videos and no problem with the rest of the list. however Id advise you to check up on your statements as your misguiding people on the value of dinos. This is my personal list of the best 6 pre 50 tames that you should invest in, in ascending order of priority. 1. Pteranodon 2. Raptor 3. Doedicurus 3. Ankylosaurus 4. Beaver 5. Stego 6. Water dino (itchy)/ argentavis (geographic dependant) I hope you read this as ot took me about 8 minutes to write, thank you and have a nice day P.S: a tamed trike always loses to a wild rex on equal levels.

Equus's are pretty sick, also you look super majestic when your riding them bareback. Also they deal torpor pretty dam well. I'm level 95 and I have about 9 Equus's for no apparent reason. Or maybe the Dimorphodon, lower levels can just bola and beat it. About 10 of those can kick ass.

As soon as i get the slingshot i started taming Dilophosaur. They are great pack hunters and help out big time getting meat. a pack of 5 ranging from 24 - 50th lvl can beat down a Triceratops 56th lvl. you may lose one or two but they are easy to replace.

If your very adventurous in ark, you might be able to tame a therizinosaur before level 50 as long as your quick enough to shoot it in the head several times........ (I got my first therizinosaur at level 49 using a sloped hill and a crossbow)

If a trike is hard to tame, just go on a steep rock and use tranquil arrows on the trike. Then just give it berries

Bit about the Ptera being your second flyer is wrong. Ptera is the first flyer you unlock a saddle for, at level 38. Pelagornis is the next closest at 43, Tapejara at 54 and Argent at 62. I consider taming a Ptera and Iguanodon to be the first major milestones to establishing an early presence in any ARK playthrough. After that, it's all about the Doedicurus, baby. Get one of those and your stone fortress will go up in no-time. Get a Phiomia, dot your base with some plant X, put a bunch of poop in each crop plot, and you can sleep safe and sound.

I play this game very slowly, mostly because I don’t like venturing out away from the beach area into the woods, I’m about a level 50 on solo with a nice wooden house, a good amount of Dino’s tamed, good amount of supplies, only problem is getting metal.

My favorite would be the trike; specially the one on my current game. Not only did it had 5000+ health when I tamed it, I also lucked out on both speed and stamina. At 10000+ health and massive damage outpour, it’s my absolute favorite, able to take out alpha carnos and me preferring it even over my flying tames

Sabertooth's are also great for mass breeding if you go around the island grab a whole bunch of them no matter what level pic the ones with the best stats breed a deadly pair with the best stats then start breeding for mutations making them more dangerous than before then mass breed them until you have an army of high level super mutated saber teeth send these devils into the enemy base after you destroy turrets and plant x you kill everything that you demand to be killed.

Whenever I start a game I always go for the same. Therizinosaurus (wood & fiber), dœdicurus (stone), anky (metal), argentavis (to move around mountains) & tapejaras (to guide the argi), and iguanodon (to move around by foot). All the others are just "in the way" and I only tame them for convenience (icthyosaurus) or protection (rex).
