Every second of this video is packed with great information and worth watching. I watch all the videos of your channel because it not only increases my knowledge but also motivates me. No matter how long the video appears at the start but once i start watching, it becomes so interesting that it feels like the video ended very early. Then i keep checking your channel regularly to see if you have uploaded any new video. I workout three times a week and do the following compound exercises: Barbell Squat, Leg Press Conventional Dead lift Barbel Bench Press, DB Bench Press, Incline DB bench press Seated DB Over Head press Pull ups, Pull down DB Rows When I started I was 94 Kgs, now I am 72.5 Kgs. I have started my lean bulk phase now and consuming 2500 to 2700 calories a day.

Hi bhaiya, love your content. My bulk has been going great and I'm getting lots of compliments thanks to the muscle gain. This is all thanks to you and Joe Delaney. I'm currently stuck at 40kg bench and can't seem to improve at it. Any tips? Here's my UB-LB training split: Upper Body (Monday and Thursday) 3x Flat Bench Press 2x Incline Bench Press 3x Seated Overhead Barbell Press 2x Cable Row 3x Lat Pulldown 2x Standing Alt. Bicep Curl 2x Tricep Extension 3x Lateral Raises Lower Body (Tuesday and Friday) 3x Leg Press / Barbell Back Squat 3x Hyperextension 3x Romanian Deadlift 3x Leg Extension 3x Calf Raise 2x Reverse Pec Fly/Face Pulls 3x Leg Raises/Crunches
@frodan780 Жыл бұрын
Program looks fine, a lot of exercises per session which isn't necessary for a beginner - Imo you don't really need hyperextensions and incline press at your stage, RDLs and flat bench + OHP are good enough to focus on for those muscle groups. But if you have a lot of time you can spend in the gym then it's okay, your choice. What is your age and bodyweight, and how long have you been stuck at 40kg on flat bench? Also 40kg for how many reps is your max?
@akshitsinghvi2487 Жыл бұрын
@@frodan780Age 19, Weight 68-70kg, I can't go beyond 6 reps (I don't take caffeine before working out) Today I tried 45kg, but I could only manage one rep
@akshitsinghvi2487 Жыл бұрын
@@frodan780 My program doesn't include deadlifts, so I need one exercise for lower back I'm really scared of deadlifts because I developed backache from having REALLY bad posture throughout my teenage years which has only gotten better in the last 6 months. I've been training for about 2.5 months
@frodan780 Жыл бұрын
@@akshitsinghvi2487 RDL is usually a great exercise for the low back, if you go deep, meaning until the point when your low back is just about to round (but does not round over) and only bend your knees very slightly then when you get up lower back does a lot of work. Check some form videos on it and see if you're doing it correctly. But anyway if you enjoy hyperextensions and they are helping you then of course do them. For your flat bench my suggestion is keep it at 40kg right now and try to increase reps before adding weight. Right now you can do 6 reps with 40kg, so in the next few weeks try to add reps in the 6-10 rep range. Let's say right now you are doing 3 sets of 6 reps. Every workout you will try to increase reps, your aim is to add at least 1 rep in each workout. So you will go from 6,6,6 to at least 7,6,6 and then 8,7,6 etc. Total number of reps should increase by at least 1 rep every workout. If you can add more than 1 on some days then great. Maybe sometimes you won't be able to add 1, that's okay try again next workout. Goal is keep adding until you reach 3 sets with 10, 8, 8 reps at least. Once you hit 10,8,8 then next session you can increase the weight. Also for bench press 5 kg increase is difficult to add, instead add 2.5 kg or 2 kg. If your gym has only 2.5kg smallest plates then buy 1.25kg kg or 1kg plates from amazon, search '1kg / 1.25 kg fractional olympic plates', and take them to the gym with you. When you reach 10,8,8 reps with 40kg then add 2 or 2.5 kg using these plates and then do the same process with 42.5 kg until you again reach 10,8,8 reps, then go up to 45 kg. Like this you can keep progressing. It may seem slow but even if you only add 2.5 kg per month, in 1 year you will go from 40kg bench press for 6 reps to 70kg bench press for 10 reps. Which is a big increase. You can follow the same system for other lifts as well like your squats, leg press, RDLs etc.
