I just bought a GSXS 750 about 3 weeks ago. I love it. Even though it’s heavy, it doesn’t feel much heavier than any other middleweight. It’s nimble, confidence inspiring, and looks great! A tried and true drivetrain with a beautiful sound, I’m really not sure why it isn’t more popular. I know it’s not the “best” middleweight naked, but it’s definitely the best bang for your buck and will promise many trouble free smiles and miles. My brother has a CBR600RR, and immediately got converted to the naked bike life after riding my GSXS

The GSX S750 is an amazing bike! It was my first bike... had it for three years. Felt a lot more nimble than it looked! Soundtrack with the yoshi r11 was heavenly! I loved the fact it didnt have any rider aids and a cable throttle. I learned to shift properly when going hard and became a better rider for it! Now upgraded to a speed triple 1200rs and i absolutely love it... but will be nostalgic about the inline 4 with the yoshi soundtrack!

I bought a '24 XSR900 after watching many reviews, including your own and the praise you gave it. I would love to see a 22+ XSR900 vs. R9 vs. 24 MT09 SP video from you, or at least have a section of video discussing the differences and your opinion since so many internet experts want to say the R9 is "just an MT09 with clip-ons." Edit:Since it’s relevant to the video, I paid $10,800 OTD for a brand new ‘24 XSR900, hard to beat it for the money.

I have thought about possibly getting an xsr900. It's a good choice but that depends on how you ride will dictate which bike is best to choose from. For me the xsr900 would be my best choice but for someone who rides on the track the xsr might not be the best choice.
@Center66lljk
@Center66lljk Күн бұрын
@@thinkingimpaired5663 I’ve seen a few videos of the XSR900 on track, it seems like it would be capable, albeit not the best or as good as something like the R9. Like you said depends on what you want. I’d pick the XSR900 all day for a daily ride (semi-biased), but if I did track days more often, I’d definitely be swayed towards the R9. I think the XSR900 serves as a happy medium between the MT09 and the R9, it’s a sportier seating position compared to the MT and has the KYB suspension front and back. It fit the bill for me perfectly, a sporty-standard bike that doesn’t break the bank (and my back/wrists). Safe riding dude!

KTM already has made a new statement about the LC8 engines. They're gonna support all problems with camshafts, even for bikes out of warranty. Read this yesterday on MCN. Without this problem the bike is really fun to ride. However at the moment I would choose the MT09, the ideal hooligan type bike that's also bomb proof. Got a Street Triple RS now, also brilliant bike but more sport focussed compared to the more comfortable MT09... Mine is gonna be an SP by the way, really want Brembo's again after the perfect brakes on the RS ;)

Warranty don't mean anything if the parts are in China. The CF Moto dealers near me look like they could close tomorrow, and you'd never know they were there yesterday. Still, to see a brand new two-year-old 650 Adventure going for three grand, is hard to pass up. That's a lot of brand-new bike for three grand. But I live with gremlins in everything I own. I'm at peace with most of them right now. I don't need any more gremlins.

The only thing disappointing of the gsx s750 is the brakes, the front master cylinder is mega underpowered vs the caliper piston size. The recommended change is to a rcs17 or a 17mm size piston MC to not have a woody feel of master cylinder that is too big like a rcs19.

I am 5'10" , 280lbs. The Z900 is great. I really do not understand the animus shown towards Harley Davidson. If it is the cost, there are plenty bargains on the used market. The 2 bikes I had before the Z900 were Harleys. I put over 100,000 miles on one and sold it with 151,000+ miles on it. The motor still ran like a top. It just needed a new clutch. The other I clocked over 70,000 miles on it and sold it because I didn't need two bikes. The HyaBUSA! has always had a reputation as comfortable for larger framed guys, but so has the ZX1400 Kawi.

I can't recommend buying a GSX-S750. My bike is from 2019, I bought it when it had 6 thousand kilometers on it, now it has 27. During this time, I encountered problems with the brakes - it seems that air gets into the brake system from somewhere in the caliper, I replaced all the parts except the calipers, since I did not expect that they could break at all, but here we are. I dented the front disc twice (I myself am to blame here), once the rear (I do not understand how this happened at all). And yesterday my engine started ringing. So far I do not know what the problem is, maybe it will be easily solved, but for now it sounds like a big problem. However, it has an insanely fun engine and a good gearbox, although I do not like the long stroke of the gearbox between first and second gear, it is easier to get into neutral than into second and vice versa. The rear shock absorber also leaves much to be desired, since the bike can start to swing if you hit a series of potholes. Also this motor is very weak up to 5 thousand revolutions, which makes it really hard to use in the city, I often use the clutch if I want to move forward very quickly, with momentum, a few meters. Overall I would recommend this bike if you don't ride too hard and mostly do it on twisties. It needs good smooth asphalt and turns, then this bike is great, it fits into the turn quite easily compared to the z800 for example. For the city I would recommend buying an mt07 or a road adventure.

it's good to agree to disagree. for every one person that likes a particular thing there will be someone else that will like the complete opposite. In my case I just don't like the previous gen MT09s and love the looks of the new one. I liked it so much that I was able to attend a demo ride event to ride one. 4 days later I bought one. Actually, brought it home today. In the end whatever you ride is there for you to enjoy and not worry about what the next person will think. I'm just glad that we all get choices and are free to choose

Z900 125 hp/ MT09 117 hp Z900 73 lbs-ft/MT09 69 lbs-ft Looks are subjective, I will give you that, but the only bike on this list with more hp was the other Kawi and it has 20 lbs-ft less torque, would be uncomfortable on a long ride and costs what $2000 more? The MT09 costs more than $10,000 and the Z900 less than $10,000. Objectively speaking the Z900 is the best bike on this list.

For each its own when it comes to looks…. I would take the looks of the z900 over any triumph bike… I like the new look of the mt09 but the one before I found hideous.

6:25 peak torque at 7700 rpm? What's wrong with that? That's about where the peak torque is on my hypermotard. Are you saying that's too high or low of an rpm?
