He actually played an unhealthy ENTP type, sure the others had fancier acting portrayals, but they weren't actually playing an ENTP, the fact that people saw Leto as a joke means he actually succeeded honestly. No one likes the Joker, people see him as a Joke person, a fancy can't get their hair out of place person, and then they get caught off guard at his hidden strength when they've triggered him. Heath and Jacquinn just made the character seem grunge and likable, but it wasn't a real joker.

I think it was an interesting idea to try to turn the Joker into basically like a trap-style hip hop artist, who loves basically being a pimp, objectifying women and of course also enjoys the allure of making money. The problem is this completely flies in the face of the Joker and his motivations at least in most iterations of the character. Yes, the Joker is the "clown prince of crime" but he doesn't commit crimes for financial gain so much as he enjoys being an agent of chaos. Heath Ledger's Joker literally burned a pile of crime money in front of gangsters who called him insane for doing so -- the idea he'd be driving around in a Lamborghini that's suped with underglow out is laughably ridiculous.

@@ObliteratedZane668 haha what the hell no it wasn't compare it to the other Jokers they had hour or more of screen time and a better script and they were the central characters in the story do you people not know that a character needs all these things to work imagine if Heath worked in Suicide Squad he would have suffered the same fate as Jared's Joker because hell even the dialogue was changed so many scenes were edited and Jared didn't really get much say in during this it's pretty damn obvious he didn't get an actual chance

I think people don't like his joker for two reason 1 because they don't understand that he's probably not playing the joker but someone who thinks their the joker but mostly because they don't like Jared Leto.
