I think that's a little too optimistic. I for one did not find the Leto Joker to be a good version of him. Even in the new scenes he just feels off...the laugh is awkward and forced sounding, the voice is too throaty as if he's trying to sound like Heath Ledger but doesn't pull it off. I did feel like he did a much better job but that's only because he was SOOOOO Cringe inducing in the puke puddle called Suicide Squad. That's just my opinion though...I still enjoyed the Snyder Cut and would love to see it continued. Sadly that doesn't look like it's going to happen.

According to Grace Randolph, who's been pretty spot on with everything surrounding JL so far, and is friends with Snyder, she says JL part 2 & 3 is getting serious consideration. Apparently they loved Leto's performance and now want more Joker, as well as for Zack to either direct or be heavily involved with WW3 after 84 wasn't received well. This seems like a real possibility, and if we get the movies they want in cinemas, I don't see why they won't make the Snyderverse films on HBO Max. Everyone wins.

you don't get it. the Snyder Cut was always there, it was only a matter of WB being willing to release it. since they had no other content going on, and Justice League was practically ready-made with only a few additional tweaks needed, they demonstrated they have AT THE VERY LEAST above room temperature IQ, and finally decided to release it. Disney Star Wars on the other hand was always meant to be the way it is. any change or good idea Lucas might've had before he sold his creation away was totally ignored by Disney once they got their greedy hands onto the IP. and they've been putting out stinker after stinker ever since: the soft reboot/blatant remake first chapter, the wannabe ESB-esque sequel (only more pretentious), and a final installment trying to wrap everything up and failing miserably.

Yeah, like @sunsetman22 said, the only reason the Snyder Cut was given the go ahead was because there were already 4 hours worth of a movie shot that just needed to be edited and vfx added. Starting over from scratch with Star Wars is just not ever going to happen. The closest we may get is if they use the world between worlds to erase what happened in the Disney trilogy and move forward ignoring the contents of those films. In a dream world it would be cool if we could get at least an animated version of the original episode 9 "Duel of the Fates" from the script that was leaked. That would at least let us get an idea of what it could have been.

I think that Jared Leto was still kind of meh as Joker (but infinitely better than the abomination that was given to us in Suicide Squad, I'd say 6.5/10), his laugh sounded like a creaky door, but the dialogue was so good in that scene and the tension was palpable. That was probably the best Batman/Joker scene next to the interrogation scene from The Dark Knight and I definitely need more of the knightmare timeline.

This Joker is different from his predecessors. He has something in common with Joakim Pheonix's Joker: vulnerability! He is more human than any Joker before. I can't believe I say that after SS. His complete silence, processing that Harley wanted in her last moments nothing more than him to suffer as much as possible before dying. It shows that a part of his worldview shattered, that he truly believed that they are meant for each other and that it is true love. That's why he complemented Batman. Because he was able to cut into the Jokers soul so deep, only the Joker himself thought capable of doing to others. I love it!
