I tested the S 1000 XR when it first came out and loved it...except the vibrations were so bad my right hand went numb, and it was a bit high for my short inseam. I tested the Ducati Supersport. The rear cylinder was incredibly hot on my legs, the mirrors vibrated to the point of uselessness, and it would keep hitting false neutrals between 3rd and 4th and 4th and 5th. I also tried a used H2 SX SE (H too sexy), but the previous owner had modified it to hit 230hp and the throttle response was terrible. I currently have a 2022 Ninja 1000 SX, and love it. It's as much fun as my friends' sport bikes on the street, and I can still walk after an hour of riding. It should be on this list, or in the super tier sport touring video.

Just had to put loctite on the rear belt sprocket bolts for the second time, the rear view mirrors, the gas tank, and passenger pegs. Then I noticed there were like 5 missing bolts and 2 random wiring harnesses that were just hanging there on my 03 Harley Deuce. I took it to a dealer ship cause it wasn't running right, I paid $1,200 for a new ignition, a new tire, and a bolt that looks like it was welded to the frame so the gas tank stops flying up when I hit a bump but the weld broke, left me with all original fluids. Then gave me trouble over inspection cause the forks are like 2 inches longer. Oh and the day I brought it home the shifter fell off so I had to ride an extra 6 miles in 5th gear on top of the 3 I had till i was home, it was also the first time I had to tighten the rear sprocket. It was my dad's he left it to me in his will, I love all bikes but I'd never buy a Harley

I would love to be able to afford an h2 SX I'm not a huge Kawasaki person but I absolutely love the H2 I think it is an awesome platform they did a really nice job on that bike. Honestly it would be a tough choice between that and the Hayabusa

I have the Beluga Whale (2022 Gen 3 Busa) . . . to designate it as a Sport Tourer is wrong, it's a misnomer, even if Suzuki may call it or others, ... get the H2 SX SE instead, .... thought I would make it easier for you... glad if this helps..! I also own 2023 XDiavel, 2021 Trident 660, 2024 Scrambler 400X .... & prebooked the RE Shotgun 650

The GSX1000GX is more of a S1000XR competition. Both are 'tall rounders' and the GX has an IMU unlike the GT.

Honestly, I’m going from an R1250RT to…something. Both those are on the short list.

Think I'm gonna get the Ninja 650 as my first "BIG boy" bike, i had an Aprilia RS125 two stroke 20 years ago (the 34bhp one) i loved that bike probably spent as much time broken as it did on thr Road but when I was riding i ragged thr hell out of it to the point where i look back now and im suprised im still with us, being an immature headcase with 0 self preservation and was going to buy a 2006 Ninja 636. Then I became a father. I sold my bike and gear and conentrated on on my family. I Woke up a month ago with a real itch to get back on a bike. Now with a couple of decades on me now married to my then girlfriend and we have two kids. Maturity defiantly chills you out but I must admit just the thought of jumping back on a bike makes my boy brain go nuts, perhaps it's a bad idea lol

Don't do it, get the new Suzuki GSX-8R instead. More power, more torque, more tech, same agronomics, better looks in my opinion. I love mine and highly recommend it.

You omitted the Ninja 1000SX which is actually a better bike than the Suzuki GSX-1000GT and I am drooling over that H2 SX SE (The H2 SX is not even an option in the US, you are stuck with the more expensive SE version)
