Hi i am 5"9 i can touch the rim and i am 17 years old,never tried any training,is it possible for me to dunk,just do the squats?

Hi im 16 years old and im 6'3\2 (1.89 cm) and i can dunk ( you can look at my profile picture ) I dont work on my jumping or everything else (LAZY) and im a basketball player and I go to basketball training 3 times a week and a game (you know play basketball we dont usually work on our athletics) if i work on my jumping abilities how high will i get?? and my jump is even good? Hello, I'm 33 and 5`10 and I can grab rim but I want to be able to dunk on people. Your program sounds good. Can I buy it on my nook/ tab? Or phone? Because I do not have a computer. One more thing, do you show videos in the program on how to do every workout move?

Question (feel free to respond) Im 16 and 5'8 I think or 5'7. I weigh 155 lbs. and can deadlift 430 at my max. I squat over 350 lbs and could do more but I'm focused on my upper body right now. A lot of the exercises I read about online aren't helping and I am consistent. I stick to them for a few weaks but usually don't see much improvement. My current vertical is about 34-38 inches. I'm so close to that 40 and dunking but I need a good workout. If anyone knows one that really will help, let me know thanks.

Nah bro squats with free weights are way better because they work your raw strength.

I mean some of these excersises i dont think i need them. I play basketball and only wanna dunk im just gonna jump the way my sport requires, ill still work on exploseviness, but there are good machines that help strengthen hamstrings and make them stronger like leg press.

I'm almost 14, going into 8th grade, 5'9"and I can grab rim and touch rim with a full size basketball. So basically I can nearly dunk. 3 months ago i couldnt even touch rim. If i keep this up could I dunk sometime in 8th grade?

When you become strong enough where the weight isnt hard for you to lift then it wont strengthen u anymore since youre only doing 8 sets. Youll hit a plateau so you should increase weight when necessary.

base on my observation one leg dunker find it difficult when taking off with two legs,keep practising jumping rebound dunking with two legs,you will be comfortable doing it in a matter of time,

Back squats wont stunt growth as I'm 15 and at my rugby training gym I squat 40kg warm up and work up till around 70kg for my reps if you dont go to high like try and squat 100kg to find your max squat you should be fine and if you still dont want to do back squats then switch to front squats they will do the same thing except there harder to do in my opinion. =P hope this helps.

also do core workouts too. I've seen many professional dunkers that recommend core training. 5'5 Porter Maberry is one of the few.

Youre training yourself to be able to jump higher with the least amount of flex in a way. Its weird to explain but you can watch youtube videos to learn more.
