Great list! However, not saying it's right or wrong, but I was always taught to not ride in the center of the lane. Pick left side or right side (of course different circumstances allow for different riding lane positions). Something about oil is more likely to be in the center? I never took the MSF course though. Have 8 years of experience on the road. Thanks and stay safe!

I would definetly not recommend 2 finger braking. If people get used to that they might miss out on the extra tug they need for an emergency stop, not everyone has popeye fore arms and the neccesary power in 2 fingers. Instead get used to deliberate braking with all four's. and who the F would disable the kickstand switch lol

When stopping, it's best to come to a stop using the rear brake for the last 30 feet, and plant your left foot down at the end of the stop, leaving your right foot on the brake pedal. Use the front brake for everything else, but try it if you aren't using the rear brake for the last 30 feet before you stop.

Looking where I go is one of the bike lessons that I can apply to life in general. Where am I going in life? Where I'm looking, that's where. Another is that your gut feeling is often exactly wrong. Do NOT use force to stabilize the handlebars during headshake -- back off the gas a tiny bit and relax your hands. Let it wobble. That's how it fixes itself. Going into a corner too fast? Do NOT shut the throttle -- back off a tiny bit but stay ON the gas and "will it" through the corner.

Tip for advanced sporty noobs on not so sporty bikes on twisty roads(which are the most important roads) : if you got all your weight on the footpeg it's first kiss with the ground could be hard n passionate and try to throw you off. Didn't feel great on a 1996 Honda cb500 at least. Leaving the weight off it was fine. Dont try to go further. Exhausts are not very forgiving
