The King's/Queen's Call is one of my favorites. For some reason I never see anyone mentioning the fact it has 12.5% lifesteal per projectile. Using a FL4k crit build means constant health regen. Combining that with the Infernal Wish and Two Fang deals crazy damage.

Indeed. it took me an hour of looking at loading screens and read only farming to get one. Not to count the 4 hours it took to progress to that point in DLC2, and that I had to reset my TVHM.

The dlc tediore legendaries, the drones can crit and you're basically multiplying your damage x4 with the dark army (my favorite gun) it's not the strongest weapon but on Fl4k it gets the job done pretty smoothly

@@damienhine1861 I am using that exact build and with a shield break anointment on the messy breakup you can get up to three drones at one time and with mayhem scaling and my three horned skag the messy breakup can not only critical but does without crit almost 200,000 damage and on crit it's in the millions. Give your dog a copy of it and his do the same and he can also have his own three drones. Depending on if you use action skill anointment before your shield breaks so at one time you can have all together six messy drones and your dark army's it's awesome I can do all the precipice challenges by myself in under 5 min the build kills!

With my gamma burst build very much like yours the Red Fang is essential. The Butcher is great never reloading as long as you're hitting and it's not the double pellet count version. The Needle gun is also a go to for me. Both are ice and have 115% rad anointments at level 72 on mayhem 11.

Traitor's Death, Companion and three shot burst weapons are all really cool too. For me the most snipery sniper might be Monocle though. Skullmasher you can rapid fire right up in an enemies face but the Monocle's gotta be scoped

Always wondered what manufacturers FL4K would use lore-wise. I do feel they would be partial to Jakobs but maybe also Hyperion for their robotic reloads. COV might make sense too since they are a wanderer with no one to trust but the pet, picking up any ramshackle thing they can find to survive (and they have a motor)

I like to think Fl4k appreciates the classics, and uses more archaic "real world" reminiscent firearms like Vladof, Jakobs and Torgue from a design aesthetic standpoint alone, Dahl is worth considering too but I can't bring myself to use an smg on them with the exception of the Hyperion Old Ridian in its default skin for *flavour* lmao fuck I'm giving off "tell me you're autistic without telling me your autistic" energy rn 😅

I picked up a Butcher as a world drop the other day with the GBRad anoint. Honestly the best weapon I’ve ever used on Fl4k. With the Re-Volter and Fl4k’s ‘Leave No Trace’, combined with the special effect, it’s literally a full-auto shotgun that almost never needs to be reloaded. I’d seriously have to miss intentionally to empty my mag in most cases.

Coming back from a hiatus and working on a FL4K Jakob allegiance build of my own, so this list is pretty helpful. That being said, just two things I’ll add in: 1) If anyone is going to use the St4ckbot class mod, just know that certain splash damage interactions can reset your stacks, so keep that in mind. Hunter seekers are one of those items, so using something like a hex instead would be preferred, especially with something like the pearl. 2) FL4K is by far the squishiest character in the game, so a shield that keep them from being memed on would be one’s that focus on survivabilty, so either the Stop Gap or Frozen Heart with the Action Skill Start anointment will ensure that FL4K stays up. These are top tier shields on all characters, but is especially beneficial for FL4K, as they have decent health Regen but no Life Steal. Hope this all helps!

i read that too, when looking up stackbot and never understood why every guide suggested hunter seekers with the good ole fade build using pearl/stackbot/etc when tons of other damage sources can reset stackbot. id rather keep stacking, or keep it buffed. went with the hex option too, personally.

I refuse to believe that the Mitosis Hunter Seeker exists on console. I have almost 1000 hours in this game and have had literally hundreds of Cloning Hunter Seeker's. Never saw a Mitosis.

I like the heartbreaker, great fl4k shotgun for damage and lifesteal. I use it as my "cool down gun" since I get my action skill back extremely quickly and one successful shot completely refills your health. Paragrine + cutpurse+ fish slap equals infinite ammo As for snipers I would've chose bird of prey cause those rockets that spawn on hit are lethal especially if you use two fang or an infernal wish shield

as someone thats only played a pet fl4k, this is inspiration but also WAY different than mine lmao. red fang for aggro control, cloning chupas organ for sustain (mainly for bot) and the gimmicky bypass, knife drain white elephant + blade fury combo's well for self sustain while also proc'ing furious attack (unlike facepuncher sadly), craders emp5 cause i hate moving slow, reflux just cause i heard it was good and do agree, and faulty star as the true shining MVP would be my list. super excited to play fl4k more, i have like 3 or 4 fl4k's alrdy, he's easily my favorite vault hunter in awhile and i thought i loved driver amara the most.. i love all the variety bl3 has truly, anywho thanks for the vid.

I run what I call Coward Fl4k. Gamma Burst, Horned Skag, Red Fang. Purple tree to give copy of shield to pet - Wear the 300% Ward shield. Mesmer or Piss Nade. King Arthur's Holy Grail and a Res pistol. Guardian Angel, Hive, and EM-P5 all with Gamma Burst anoint. Spec into all pet damage, pet crit, and health regen and the skill to share your health regen with allies and pet. (Remember the Ward shield and Holy Grail also have built in Health Regen). The Horned Skag attack command and basic attack are melee, and his shield is always down so he always has 300% Roid on. Pet is invincible while gamma burst is active and the health regen is so much he is nearly invincible while GB is not up. Mayhem Water and sometimes Barrels are the only thing that can take the Pet down. At which point I shoot my pet with the Res and he gets back up, and the revive activates the Holy Grail which makes the pet move super fast. Pet kills everything while I hide in a corner; hence "Coward Fl4k" PS. The Hive/Angel combo is for flying enemies which the Horned Skag has trouble with. Build is not top tier (Pet is stupid sometimes), but it is really funny. Good in Co-op too because of shared health regen and Res.

I have an assault rifle fade away build with fl4k & the breath of dying is by far my favorite gun on him. I can consistently get 1 billion damage mobbing but for bossing i use the soul render or opq, i also use the needle gun because its just fun & stacks well with kill skills & other passive anoints :)

Lucky 7 pistol rolled for head, 7 and explosive, stackbot with pistol damage, shield w/ while terror is applied regen ammo, grenade with on action skill end apply terror. I can just about 1 shot anything in game especially if fade away is active. The ammo regen makes it so you don't lose the roll on the gun

Thanks Moxsy excellent video. After 2 years of play this game I’m only now leveling up a fl4k character. This video helps a lot. Can you do Amara next? I love my melee Amara with ties that bind but I’m a bit bored with just using the face puncher. Also I love my current moze build with iron cub a revolter and a light show but she seems to be the character who goes into fight for life the most! Any tips on how to fix this? Cheers

I know it was just a throw away line, but I don't know why Seein Dead still gets raised so much for Zane. It was only ever BiS because of uncapped commitment. Now that's gone, with Mantis for seein red procs, the Spy mod clearly outclasses it. I don't think it's even close honestly, it just has much better skills, and Seein Dead's effect is superfluous with Mantis anyway. Sure it's still the best com if you're not running Mantis, but people need to move on from the Seein Dead obsession.

D3ADEYE + Guardian Angel with the correct class mod bonuses and artifacts shits on mobs. I 1 hit kill almost all heavy enemies and kill all trial enemies with just rakk attack in 10 seconds. I did a recent run when I was only using rakk attack to kill enemies and it is awesome. I was an Amara main but FL4K is better with his “spells” than the supposed magic Siren. Shorter cooldown is awesome.

thats my #1 gun... killings bosses with fl4k is easy.. the thing i hate is clearing rooms of mobs on the fade one.. it gets tedious, and lucians call is amazing for that everything else. incredible gun lol. and rowans call kicks too much and is more annoying to farm.

What about a Soulrender, Red Fang and a Deathless with a Warloader build? I'm farming Tom and Xam for a good roll on a Soulrender. Currently I'm using an Oozing Vigorous Roisen's Thorns for some pretty good damage.

As long as things are dying, you can just pop on a Friend bot. Doesn't take gun a gun slot, you're still killing enemies and don't need to look around for your pet so it breaks combat a little less, and doesn't have a CD IIRC.

I asume you play Zane, every other vaulthunter has only one action skill slot. On Flak you have in addition to your action skill and your grenade an attack command for your pet.

Have been searching relevant to it and STACKBOT mod is very GEAR Dependant. any damage..........i mean any damage that is not critical will reset stack. that means: no pet damage no gernade no element damage no richochet damagme nothing that scores a damage EVEN IN FADE AWAY if any damage is non critical, you will never get stacks.

It totally still is, its just a matter of usability. Zane with a current “meta” speed based build is held back by the needs of the bipod mode. Moze still benefits more from splash, and Amara can’t use it with the Driver for the same reason as Zane. Fl4k just doesn’t have any of those drawbacks, and it has the best synergy with him due to its high firerate and pellet count alongside the nature of Fade Away with GitM and the St4ckbot
